Anyone watching this? I wasn't crazy about the show at first, but I find it really picked up for me. For the people who don't like Shouko,
she's had about 5 min of screen time so far.

Interesting. I go to other forums about this and they say it's been like then, then started channeling Gundam Seed Destiny, and apperantly now they're doing Macross. I've never seen any of those, so I can't verify it myself.
Personally, I find Boku Janai to be the most memorable, which is why I'm glad they like to bring it back.
I'm tempted to change the the topic name to the anime saver.

I like how when they sacrifice memories, they take the screenshot and crack it. One of my favorite things about the show. Also, did they just forget about Saki? I know the show hasn't, but I don't any of the characters mentioned her once.

Saki is not this season's favorite unfortunately...
She has been relegated to forced CC behavior (ie how the Pizzabutt joke came from, oh she was hawt and all but she is forgotten) That said she still plays a major role. I really wonder... how does the Americans (because face it they are) somehow beat the Russians (which is kinda obvious) when the Russians are constantly upgrading their mechs and tech that even the Valraves are finding a hard time taking down? They now own their very own manufactured Valraves and these guys are somehow still keeping a lid on their peace and shit. What did they do exactly? Negotiate a peace deal with the Dorssians by accident?
This also puts two things in perspective,
during Season 1 : the so called Valv-rape did not happen, Rukino Saki embraced Haruto to stop his movements, though her clothes torn due to the energy burst or struggling have happened because of so, consuming her memories seem not to affect her long term memory, which puts to mind something else... why does the other pilot for Haruto's craft somehow lose hers? They don't lose THAT much memory or is Haruto officially operating at half capacity at all times? (with the exception of Mode 666 full burst)
at season 2 now: Why does Cain somehow not lose memory and despite not being infected by what is afflicting Haruto to suck memories out of people? He did not in anywhere of the show became a space vampire, or was he born into this project of the Magus a long time before Haruto? Did he somehow managed to overcome his condition?
I am at episode 7 of this season.
I am especially attached to Nana Mizuki and TMR now because when I attended Valrave Night just 2 weeks before in Singapore with them performing LIVE, it just makes me so fucking shit bricks of awesome. I cannot really say I never liked them before but I love them harder now thanks to this show and its awesome music. Check out the OST as well, it is really good.

Honestly, the space Americans might be doing the same thing. We just aren't seeing it because they aren't constantly attacking space Japan.
As for why Cain isn't suffering like Haruto is, it might be the fact that Pino's bro might not be constantly in the Valvrave like she is. Can she influence people if she's not in the Valvrave?

Yes she can, at least I think so, because Haruto's condition is directly linked to the system, which is to show Pino's system (and they still haven't explained what this pair of siblings are... (programs? gods? demons? alien systems? what?) directly allowed Cain to have superpowers... seems like Haruto's only superpower is bodyswitching. While Cain seems to be in comparison - flying, breathing in space, energy beams, fire, green flames and shit and aura of invincibility etc

That's probably because Haruto and co. are inexperienced, while Cain has been around for some time. I mean they haven't gone out of their way to test. The only reason they have what they have is because of Pino possessing Haruto to do stuff. Also, I don't know if you've seen the latest episode yet, so stop now if you haven't, but Elisalotte was shown doing some fancy flying stuff too.
As for the sibling pair, the Magius people seem to be ghost-like beings who possess people through bites, with the siblings being Magius who posessing machines. As for how they got there, I'm not quite sure.
EDIT: Being Saki is suffering. Can't catch a break can she?

The whole possession thing semed to happen when the body was really young. So I think L-Elf fell in love with her, though it may have just a "you saved my life, so you have my love sort of thing." As for the second thing, you're going to have to be more specific.

I liked the finale. I know a lot of people say it was rushed. But it's a solid result nonetheless. Why isn't this show more popular ;_;
