Title: Transferring save files from 12.5 up to 14 Problem
Post by: AbdulGalaxia on October 18, 2013, 04:26:12 PM
Me and my friend are big fans of touhou.
One day i told him to give me his savefiles of 6 to 14.
Every save file from 6 to 12 are working fine except the save files of 12.5 up 14
When i ever put the save its just wouldn't work and uses my save file instead?
Any solution?

12.5 up to 14 uses a separate folder hidden within the harddrive, mostly found within some kind of "AppData" named Shanghai Alice. You'll have to get it from there.

But.... 13 uses a separate folder too. Did you forget to mention that or it worked?

"From 12.5 up to 14" includes 13. Basic math.

The exact path looks like this: C:\Users\<Your name>\AppData\Roaming\ShanghaiAlice, then you have your folders for each game, and AppData is a hidden folder. (you can actually get to that folder quickly by typing in the start menu search %appdata% and clicking the Roaming folder that shows up)

Ah, you're right, I mixed up "up" with "and". Probably I should go to sleep already.
