Seeing as my old thread has been inactive for nearly....umm....2-3 years now maybe? I thought rather than perform unwholesome necromancy on the old one it'd be better to just start a fresh new one.
So I woke up this morning and thought 'I wanna draw' so I did. But my tablet stylus died (RIP, tablet stylus, you've always been just like a stylus to me....) so I ended up doing a little finger painting instead on my tablet. When I do pieces like these I enjoy sharing the progress as I go along so I'll do just that.

This piece started out as fan art for shingeki no kyoujin. Then as I began drawing the face I thought 'this is too cute for shingeki no kyoujin. Now I feel like drawing some fuwa-fuwa Youmu.' So I did. Whimsical art FTW.
Oh wow, progress! So many distractions with baking and medical license applications and everything aaaaaaaa.

Why are hands so difficult to draw, no matter what I do?

It's amazing what a shower can do for improving one's hand-drawing acumen. However it seems my leg-drawing acumen took a critical hit. ;_;
