Title: Love Live!: School Idol Project - And so proceed the Idolm@ster clones
Post by: HakureiSM on December 11, 2012, 02:05:35 AM
This thing. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=t_lkr985xoQ)

Also, MAL page (http://myanimelist.net/anime/15051/Love_Live!_School_Idol_Project). Does anyone have more info on this? Is it just another crappy attempt at jumping in the idol bandwagon, or does it have a proper plot to it?
I see little potential to this, but if it there's more to it this could be enjoyable.

From what I've gotten from stalking /a/, and if I can find that damn Winter 2013 chart, it's 9 girls who decide to save their school from going under by becoming Idols.

It looks more like a school anime with an idol theme than an idol anime, at least from just watching the PV.

I thought that too, but then it looked kinda stale from that perspective.

Also wrong seiyuus :V

I got from a Youtube comment that for some reason their school isn't getting enough students and is going under for that, so they go "hey let's wear little clothing and sing catchy pop music to bring in new students somehow". That could go incredibly or horribly

Idolmaster animu? but this reeks of AKB48 production values so bad.

But there is already both an IM@s and AKB anime in the season, so no

I wouldn't count 5 minute shorts, really, as a full thing.

Oh god all the characters look exactly the same.

I also like the last quote being completely off sync.

Yep, designs looks very unimaginative from that trailer, and animation looks shite

IRL no one is even that together in height!
also, PX what I was saying is AKB48 production values is how Drake's posts describes : they are ALL THE SAME.

Hi, I'm bumping this because it's the best show this season (along with GJ-bu).

Well, I got to say that Maoyuu Maou Yuusha is the best for me currently, since it's like Spice and Wolf in a nutshell.

Though I wouldn't say I don't like Love Live! In fact, I love it. My favorite character should be Kotori, since her voice is so cute.
Nico reminded me of Azusa from K-ON! btw. (And yes, GJ-bu is funny as hell, especially Mao and Shion).

While I respect your opinion, I completely disagree.

Also, I can't stand Kotori's voice. At all. Like I just want to kill myself. While the show's definitely not bad, there's stuff about it I can't get into. And just a few character voices just kill my ears. Also.
