Title: Anime Summer 2012 Preview
Post by: Grand Octopus on June 16, 2012, 03:37:35 PM
(http://s7.postimage.org/o0vth6rxj/Anime_Summer2012.jpg) (http://postimage.org/image/o0vth6rxj/full/)

"It's an excellent season!" "Lots of great shows!"
"Well, it's a pretty decent season." "There're some interesting series."
"It has a few things worth watching." "We've definitely had worse seasons."
"Actually it's fairly average." "There's nothing particularly exciting here."
"It's all unremarkable." "No good shows at all really."
"Awful season!" "It's the worst season ever!"
"Boo!" "Boo!"

---

Yeah, not really feeling this one. Points of interest are:

Joshiraku - By the SZS author? Yes please.
Aruvu Rezuru - One of the few premises that appeals to me.
Muv-Luv Alternative - IIRC the VN(s) are held in high regard.
YuriYuri 2 / Rinne no Lagrange 2 - Subject to the prequels not boring me to death.
Tari Tari - High school girls 'n' music 'n' stuff.
Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru! - hahahahaha

La storia della Arcana Famiglia and Kokoro Connect are both borderline. Probably some others as well if I looked harder.

I guess I should try Moyashimon again. I loved the premise behind it but ended up stopping a long time ago because it wasn't holding my attention. Yuru Yuri maybe too, since the tumblr posts I have seen about it have amused me.

Christ what a mess this season is

It might be a fun experiment to force yourself to watch every single one of these blind

And by fun I mean terrible

Hm...

Compared to when I normally rattle off a list of the stuff I'm gonna watch, there's only two I know I'm watching and two I'm gonna try for the hell of it...

This is probably the least interesting season ever for me.

Mm, more or less the same here. Gonna watch the Dog Days S2 if only because I watched season 1.

The RoKen movie. Thats it. :/

Well, maybe those Haruka Nogizaka and Code Geass things too, if only because I'm pretty much obligated.

I'll give Kokoro Connect a try, if only because I really like the original character designer.
I liked Koichoco, but I don't exactly want to replay/rewatch it in animated form. Art was the best thing about it, anyways, and the anime character designs look like shit.
Also Yuruyuri and Idolmaster.

Imouto ga Iru is more imoutocon pandering. Won't watch it. Imoutos are better not shoved down throats.
