Title: I want spell card practice!!
Post by: lmagus on July 27, 2009, 05:45:02 PM: So, I can't stand dying in MoF Hard stage 3 and 4 anymore.
I wish there was a way to hack IN and add more spells to practice there.
Or that there were spellcard practice modes in all games.

Spell Practice is good for new players who are building their basic skill set, and good for those cards with a heavy, heavy "you're doomed if you don't have this pixel-memorized" reliance on tricks, which most occurs in Imperishable Night anyway. Other than that, I believe it's far more profitable to actually play through full stages rather than being able to skip right to the part you want to practice. If you focus only on the parts you "want" to practice, your skills for every other part of the stage will decay, and you'll be less likely to survive those sections without wasting lives or bombs when you decide to step it up into a full-game 1cc attempt.

Ya all of us have been there (even the best). However, how does beating up Yukkuri plushies work? Youcan't do anything damage to them, so it doesn't get the anger out. I beat stuff like boxes when I rage.

if you beat them enough you can take it easy.

i need to get one, cause something tells me UFO stages 4-6 are gonna be a bitch to get past.
