It's going to be done by J.C. StaffI was hyped until I saw J.C. Staff, and my heart cried out in despair. :ohdear:
The Key Twitter account continued by stating that in order to best adapt the game into an animated series, certain key events would be presented out of the game's chronological order and that the series would have a higher than average episode count, but be shortened significantly in order to best present the story in an animated form.

5000 yen TT
seriously guys, I don't think it is that much of a difference, because clearly JC Staff knew they are hitting a very big fanbase here they don't wanna hit it badly.
and besides... what's so good that KyoAni can do JCStaff can't?
yep, that one.
lol, the cost is nothing compared to that Tachibana Kanade keyboard... I believe that sold for 12600 yen.
Well, yes, there's some very high stakes here. Fuck up and there's no real problem, but make it amazing and they get Rewrite as well. I'm saying that it'll be very hard to adapt into a linear format, and a company that does mostly mediocre shows at best just might not be able to do it. Kyoani, on the other hand, managed to make shitty and boring things like K-ON! fun and not shitty, and their Key adaptations are pretty decent. I don't think JC has made a VN adaptation or a nonlinear story for a while...I'm probably going to split the chances up to 50/50. 50 they can do it well. 50 they screw it up.
Also, animation. Find a company that can do more consistently good animation than Kyoani.
