And when they do and I'm stuck home sick things like this happen

Ok I lied, I had about half of it done already working on it on and off for about a year.   
This is a reproduction from the Dissidia profile sprites.  It has 24 different colors, which is why it looks so dynamic.
Though I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do with it yet or how to frame it or anything.

Next up, I am making MJP a Meiling wall hanging  :3
That should be significantly easier since the colors aren't going to be changing every other stitch abouts.

Geez, that's freaking ridiculous, triangles!  I mean, I've not seen the sprites you're talking about, but to have made such a thing is really awesome.  =)

I finished said Meiling project!
Having the wobbles made it take longer than I expected because my stamina and concentration would crap out on me which sucks (but then again that's why I'm out of work and banned from driving and thus have oodles of time so....)  The spot on the bottom is from my iron making a whoops but it's cotton floss and cotton cloth so who cares.  I am going to finish the edges and thread it so MJP can hang it on the corkboard at his work  :3

I am now going to be starting a few projects.  Two of which I aim to put in the Otakon art auction just to see what happens, and the 3rd is for a charity project  - the latter not due until September hahahaha so that'll be completed inbetween so I don't go crazy from literally 2500 stitches of sky blue  :o

I'm going to most likely put the Terra piece up for auction.  I have a parody of a Home Is Where the Heart Is sampler which is my goal for this week, as well as something from Madoka because it is a fabulous show.  Maybe more if I make good time/am out of work for a while?

Only took me two months but I finally finished a thing.
Was going to put this in the Otakon art auction along with Terra but MJP and I like it too much :V

Next up - Assassin's Creed with bonus glow-in-the-dark thread designs!

But today I present the progress of the 3rd and final thing I'll be putting in the Otakon art show/auction.  It may not look it on the cameraphone, but anything that's supposed to be white is already stitched as such and with some subtle light blue shading at parts too!  So it's really just the legs and the guns I have left.

I see somebody likes pixel art.  I can't even imagine the amount of patience it'd take to do something like this (and against a white background too), good job~  Is this a sprite from Grief Syndrome?

Yes it is!  I did modifications to it to

A) fix the colors/stray pixels so they don't look too weird in real life
B) Get rid of wiiiiiiiiiiide face.  I mean it's still pretty unnatural but it was ridiculous before.

The head looks fine to me.  I haven't played the game (but I really want to) so I'm not all that familiar with the sprites.  Do you happen to dabble in pixel art, or just arts and crafts based on it?

I only modify sprites and things so I can cross stitch them, I don't have the art skills or the patience to invent them myself.

Long time no stitching!
Well not really, I'm making something fairly large for MJP's birthday but ~*~real life~*~ got in the way and whoops who knows when that'll get done.  But in the meantime, I made a much smaller thing for a friend's birthday:

I modified a sprite I found online.  In retrospect I wish I had done the spoon thinner and used backstitch for the inner outline, but she didn't mind.  I'm going to turn it into a little pillow for her Kero-chan plushie :3

I've done an awful lot of stitching lately, which you can see in the Tou-Ho-Ho fest subforum (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,13866.0.html) and everyone who donates has a chance of winning one!  I also made Yet Another Meiling for my husband from the Patchcon sprites because that's how he rolls, but he wanted it it untrimmed so he can stick it on his cubical wall.

I also have three towels I am making for family members between now and Christmas, they won't be nerdy by any stretch of the imagination but once Jo-Ann's finally gets my Black Friday order to me and I can start I guess I'll post them here too :V
