Title: Anime Winter 2011-12 Preview

BAKEMONOGATARI SEQUEL      As if Kizumonogatari getting a movie wasn't enough.

Aside from the glorious Nisemonogatari, other points of interest are:

Kyousogiga - As far as I can tell this is some sort of online only thing. Still, the PV is incredibly hot. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=In4YoCWTKiM)
Amagami SS+ - Pending watching the prequel and not hating it.
BRS (8 episode series) - Still need to watch the OVA, but the hype and artwork I've seen floating around for BRS intrigues me.
Kill Me Baby - 4koma adaptation which might be worth a few laughs.
K-ON movie - Loved both series. Have high expectations for this.
Mouretsu Pirates - Think I flagged this up in the last topic. Anyway, Space Pirates.

Higurashi and Toradora minis will be watched on the strength of their respective series. Rinne no Lagrange / Ano Natsu de Matteru are 'maybes'. I'd be interested in Another, but I tried reading the manga a while back and didn't think much of it. Then again, from what I remember it was translated pretty badly.

...A K-On! movie?  Um... Not that I didn't like what I saw of the series, but... It just doesn't seem like the kind of thing that'd work as a feature length production.  But... We'll s-

...Wait Berserk movie what.

WHAT.

...Welp, know what I'm looking forward to, at least~ ^___^

Ah, Winter, the best season for anime. And here comes the long-awaited Winter 2011-12 of anime.

I've been waiting for this. My body is ready.

Eh. Apart from the Bakemonogatri sequel and Black Rock Shooter (yes, I know, I enjoyed it, sue me), this doesn't look like a really interesting season.

Which means I can either ignore everything else, or watch the first few episodes of everything else that doesn't immediately give me the creeps.

So far, only interested in the Bakemonogatari sequel and the K-ON/Kenshin movies. Toradora was a bunch of years ago, I can't be arsed to watch it now.

Alrighty lets see...

I'll probably check out Kyousogiga (looks delightfully messed up~), Black Rock Shooter, Zero no Tsukaima F (I swear this had better not be a chore), Mouretsu Pirates, Papa no Iu Koto o Kikinasai!, Nisemonogatari (hell yeah), Kill Me Baby, and Gokujyo. (I don't have any idea what to expect from this).

Seems like it'll be another busy season for me.

Nothing looks too interesting, but this caught my eye:

Quote from: Senhime Zesshou Symphogear
Humans have been menaced by mysterious monsters called "Designed Aberrant Disaster: Noise". Tsubasa and Kanade are a popular vocal unit "Twei Wing". They wear the new weapon "Symphogear" and fight against noise to save the earth.

This show is literally NO YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP DAD >:(

This winter anime doesnt look promising to me, except for:
1. Kyousogiga: hmm, online + youkai
2. BRAVE 10: well i like samurai stuff
3. Kill me baby: the story look interesting for a light comedy show (even though i hate J.C. Staff for loli anime)

and Berserk movie

Daily life of high school boys pre-airing is getting a good number of views on nico channel, so it's a show to consider for me.

Also have to see new RK.
Mostly because of KIWAMI

Nothing on that list really excites me. Lessee...

Kyousogiga: Japanese culture thing I suppose. Yokai again and high school girls chasing rabbits. Sounds rather plotless.
Recorder: Nonsense with reverse-ages. Utter nonsense.
Poyopoyo: Cute cats doing cute things. Nothx.
Danshi Koukousei: Cute boys doing cute things. So K-ON with guys. Nothx.
Black Rock Shooter: Cute vocaloids doing cute things. The pilot was boring.
Amagami SS+ plus: More harem VNs. Enough.
Natsume Yuu: Seen a few episodes of first season, nothx.
Prince of Tennis: Cute boys doing tennis. Nothx.
Tantei Holmes: Cute girls doing cute things. Nothx.
Zero Tsukai: Cute girl summoning dumb boy. Harem and boobs ensue. Nothx.
Mouretsu Pirates: "Mini-Skirt Kaizoku" light novels? Mini-Skirt? Cute girls being pirates. No. Stop ruining Captain Hook.
Inu x Boku: Ridiculous plot. Very strict etc, ten to one everyone in that mansion's a nutjob. Nothx.
Papa no Kiki: 19-year-old father of three girls. Eehhhhh I might watch this just tto e if it's comedic, but the moment romance enters the picture, nothx.
BRAVE10: Okay, I might watch this. Sengoku era etcetera.
Rinne Lagrange: Girl, robot, fighting aliens. Moe version of Gundam.
Senhime: Twei Wing? Symphogear? Fight against Noise? Too musical. Sounds like it's for kids.
Nisemono: Bakemono. Ah, no thanks.
Another: Nnn, gonna give it a try. Sounds promising.
Kill Me: Assassin high school girl. Dropped.
High School: Dim-witted, lecherous male lead? Sounds generic. Killed on first date ever? Sounds typical of generic male leads. Ehhhh I might give it one watch but the poster shows girls with a lot of cleavage and a DFC, not sure if want.
Ano Natsu: Gonna give it a try.
Gokujyo: Rule school with cuteness as weapon? Dropped.

This age of m?e has left me in despair.

To watch this season:

Brave 10 - Sengoku Ba- I mean ok, Sengoku warriors yeah!!  This must be the story of how Yukimura assembles the last ditch effort to avenge Oyakata-sama...

Another - This seems like something promising and I am sure it is worth watching as I wish for a series much like High school girl of Amnesia.

Gokujyo - this seems delicious, it is yuri apparently, and that gives me reason to watch

Ano Natsu - oh great, another boring as fuck Onegai Teacher/twins shit

Rinne Lagrage - sounds cool, Eva much?

Papa no Kiki - This seems fun, lesbian mother and father and lolz.

Black rock - I hope they actually have a story this time instead of OMG YUMI LEFT ME A MESSAGE I AM BLACK ROCK SHOOTER BOOM

Kyousogiga - whoot? This seems likely to be the best show

Senhime Symphogear - more like SEX HIME NYMPHOGEAR am I right? Of course I am.

Brother I know... watch anything, like 3-5 episodes, drop it and watch something else... if  it does not get you... it won't get you, for example I watch really what's old and such, and it is still good. :P

Danshi Koukousei: Cute boys doing cute things. So K-ON with guys. Nothx.
I have watched a few of the pre-airings and I can say it's not completely cute boys doing cute things. It includes some random comedy as well.

Kyousogiga looks interesting.
Nisemonogatari does too.
Zero F and Papa no Kiki are designated time sinks. From the manga, the latter seems to be a comedy.
Nothing else really grabs my attention except for S3 of Carnival Phantasm. Oh yes.

This age of m?e has left me in despair.

I wish there was another season of Zetsubou-sensei.

I would gladly welcome the serialization of Gundam Unicorn that is not in yearly/bi-yearly movie form.

Is this about the one where he brutalizes Charlotte in an epic crossover with Madoka Magica? If not, I don't want it.

actually... I do, if only to see what is this Berserk hype is all about.

Berserk was/is pretty damn amazing.  If it's going to be the first arc, expect medieval battles and exorbitant amounts of gore.  Comraderie comes into play, then a bit of romance and political intrigue.  Thinking further on this, if Berserk is being re-done, I'm more excited on what's to come, rather than this particular segment.  But still Berserk is a must see for me.
