I don't know if this would even be the right section, but I don't see any others that would fit this any better.
I have an Acer Aspire 5739G model laptop. It worked fine for months now until now, where as every time I try to power it on, it shuts off within a second. Any ideas what I should do to the laptop?
EDIT: And google was not much of a help either, I've only found two different answers to this problem but either did not work.

Tech thread is herehttp://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,10390.0.html (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,10390.0.html)
My intuition tells me that your ram card might have loosened up. If this is not the case, there's not much you could do since you can't even go into bios. Now depending on your warranty, you either have to bring it to your local Acer tech support or your retailer to get it fixed.

Ohh... Sorry about that.
