Title: Touhou EoSD is not working.

 :ohdear:   When ever I try to run the game,(which I have the official game with the case) this comes up,?????????L?^

 ??? Help please. I'm using windows 7 and a asus pc. I have DirectX.  Help please

Do you have Japanese support running? Windows 7 has it built in, so I'd recommend switching to Japanese locale, reboot, and try again. It doesn't look like you do since the error was in random characters instead of Japanese. EoSD can be pretty picky with such things.

And make sure you actually have DirectX 9 (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35) installed.

It's an error with the sound,if you look in the error message, it says;  error : sound   data/wav/plst00.wav

It isn't an error with the sound, the message says that it can't be loaded/found, likely due to pathnames screwing up or something. It's a fairly common error. Try switching to a Japanese locale or use Applocale, and try switching to fullscreen.

 :derp:  How do you do that, the locale thing. :ohdear:  Does locale mean location, cuz I tried switchin location to Japan but it didn't work.

Try moving the game files to another (english titled) folder and see if that helps.

Follow these instructions (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-the-system-locale) to change your locale
