Hello all, AB Kanako here. I decided to create an account to drop in on the discussion. (I also just made an account on danbooru but I can't post for a week...)

Anyway, I do say, Hoshiguma Yamame is a miracle of the universe. I'm warmly waiting for the possibility of mirror crash strip.

And Red, do cosplay Yang Wenli again. I'll have to break out my Kircheis then.

ahh awesome, you were pretty cool. I pretty much only saw you at the photo shoot though. it's a shame what happened to your mirror, If you plan on bringing back Kanako you should look into mirrored acrylic it's pretty easy to cut out if you have a rotary tool and much lighter than an actual mirror so hot glue will hold it up. Even if you drop it, it won't shatter like a real mirror. For your purposes you can probably just buy their sample size which is 1/8''x 4'' x 4''

For those that weren't there, she was probably one on several cosplayers that stood out. Her Nue outfit was pretty outstanding. It's a shame her wings got runied near the end of the show.She also has her own DA page if you want to check out her Nue outfit and other stuff.

A bit of context for this strip:

The person that Hitoshi is talking to in the 4koma was the "really excited Japanese lady" we met at Anime Boston and Hitoshi drew her appearance spot-on. I assume that she was visiting Anime Boston for some event or something because when she happened upon the first Touhou photoshoot, she was so overjoyed to take pictures of the cosplayers.

She also politely entered the Touhou panel room while we were setting up. None of us apparently knew enough Japanese to ask her to wait outside with everyone else, so she stayed around until the panel started.

Also, her enthusiasm scared me.

Oh man, the karaoke room incidents. The staff kept insisting on downloading all the songs via YT even if singers had their songs with them, and after several blue screens they rebooted the system entirely after every single song was done, resulting in a lot of waiting time ~~and an opportunity for me to play Mushi Futari on my phone whilst doing so :V~~.
