All right, you all may be wondering what went down during maintenance today. Well, fear not! I shall let you all know what has been changed.
First of all:
The Acolyte user-class:
Acolytes are new positions that take the place of Gensokyo Cops. Each Acolyte is assigned a forum, and they are the official voice of that particular forum to the higher-up staff members. They have Staff Forum access, and they have the ability to help make sure any possible punishment decisions are made fairly. Have any complaints, questions, or comments regarding their particular forum? Feel perfectly free to send them to any of the following people.
Here is a list of each forum's Acolytes:
Help Me, Eirin! - [Girls are now discussing...]
Touhou Addict Recovery Center - Tengukami
Rika and Nitori's Garage Experiments - Helepolis
Patchouli's Scarlet Library - Sakana
Alice's Art Atelier - Gappy
CPMC - Purvis
Renko and Maribel's Excellent Adventure - [Girls are now discussing...]
Akyu's Arcade - Matsuri
Rumia's Party Games - Pesco
Next up, a new forum, Shikieiki's Court of Judgment:
You cannot see this forum, and it's in your best interest that you never do-- as a matter of fact, we hope you don't! The Court of Judgment is visible to only Probated, Banned, and Staff members only. Here, Probated and Banned members are allowed to appeal their cases to Staff members.
I believe that's all, so feel free to discuss these updates in this thread.

I like it.
That's all I need to say on the matter.

... huh. That's neat. Why were the Gensokyo Cops retired, though?
That aside, a suggestion:
CPMC - [Girls are now discussing...]
You know how Purvis got rather overwhelming (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php?topic=5828.0) support after publicizing the new-staff poll on the fake staff forum? Of course it was supposed to be a joke, but there's an element of truth to its results; I think he's got a good track record of both humor and level-headedness in serious discussion, and CPMnC is one of his main hangouts here. So I think he'd make a good choice for that.
-
Yeah, we've gone to Purvis already and he's agreed to be the CP4MC Acolyte. It's just a matter of really quickie red tape now.
-
I like these changes a lot.
-
brb getting myself banned so i can view the court
Seriously though, I'm cool with this.
-
I must protest because the downtime didn't tell us to wait warmly.
The judgement court forum thingie is cool though.
-
I was wondering what them pink names were all about.

Isn't it wonderful? <3
Well, I like the color, at least. :ohdear:
-
The only thing weird about is the color, imo. :S
-
There is nothing wrong with coral.
-
It's fake and gay.
It looks kinds misplaced. Somehow. Not that it's a real issue, anyway
-
I like the colour myself. But it does seem a bit unusual for a staff-color. Seems more like a happy birthday colour to me >=P
-
delicious grapefruit

MANLY SLAMMIN' SALMON
-
Eeeeeeeehhhh?
I woke up expecting changes, but that is beyond my imaginations.
I feel honored to have received this position, thanks~
I kinda misss my Lime Green, but on the other hand we've got a companion cube... :D
-
Glad to have you on board, Sakana. ;D
-
Ku ku ku, good thing I still have my charismatic red for being bun bun.
Speaking of bun bun, I perhaps got an idea.
-
Let's see, am I still white-fonted?
It appears I still am. XD
Congrats to my fellow acolytes~ Here's hoping we get along nicely.

The court of judgement may be the greatest forum invetion ever.
Srsly, there's so many boards that are like "Hey, if you get banned, well, you're allowed to appeal your case if you follow the proper method of doing so" and then the only way to ever contact staff members to do so is to deliberately evade your ban, thus squelching any hope you have.
So yeah.

I think this board, at least, still allows you to use PMs (such as to staff members), but there's rarely much encouragement to do so. The court goes a little past that, though, in making communication a little easier: While mass PMing is still an option if you wanted to include more than one of the staff in the discussion, this makes it a lot more convenient to do so.
