I don't think these questions goes to the Danmakufu Q&A, so I created a topic.

(1) Ripping sprites, backgrounds or music from Touhou(ZUN games), without credit is illegal, even though it isn't for commercial use?

(2) I know that there are Data Extractors on Touhou wiki for that, but are there any tutorials of how to use it?

(3) About the Extractors, am I going to lose my progress(replays/score)?

1 - Ripping them is unwanted, not illegal. Distributing them is forbidden. Whether it is commercial use or not is not relevant.

2 - None we currently support or had supported actively. Contact the author who made the tool or wait for other users.

3 - Replays and scores are saved as different file and mostly at a different location. The extractors read the large game .dat files in general. So the answer is: No.
