>Almost directly so.
>You depart the mansion. Heading out the front doors, you can see that Sakuya has just recently left, taking to the air and retreating in the distance.

>Wave to Meiling as we leave then fly to Kourindou.

>The gate guard waves back as you take to the air and fly toward Kourindou.
>You follow along the main road as it makes its way through from northern shores of Misty Lake toward the Human Village. Kourindou is not difficult to spot from above, the leaves are just turning but do not hide the simple brown roof of the humble little store. Landing in front of it, you see a few pieces of old antique furniture scattered about the front yard, in particular you notice a small faerie curled up inside an open drawer in a chest of drawers, peeking out of it like a cat. The front door is ajar, with a sign welcoming all customers.

>Peer inside the shop to see if we can see who's behind the counter.
>Does 'all sentient beings' include fairies?

>"Hello!" the faerie says.
>You look through the window and see Nazrin sitting behind the counter, feet kicked up and looking bored as heck.
>This is a difficult question, as manifestations of nature, it is not an immediately resolved question whether or not they possess the buddha nature. Ichirin certainly thinks so, and has made numerous attempts to reach out to them. Usually with no success. The official doctrine of the Myouren Temple is that faeries most definitely count, and if they do not then there's no harm it treating them as if they do. It's an elegant enough way to dodge the question, if nothing else.

>Step inside and up to the counter.
>"Do you realise you've got a fairy greeting people outside your shop?"

>You head into the shop. It is about like it always is; full of random goods along the shelves to the left, and more basic household supplies on the right side of the shop. A large barrel by the counter offers as much free paper as anyone could want, as long as you don't mind it is dirty and made of the pages of former books; a relic of Rinnosuke's last acts before coming into the temple's care. Nazrin glances over and gives a lazy nod. "Got tired of trying to chase her off, Cap'm" she says. "They just don't fear me like they did the old shopkeep."

>Examine the books, red sauce, stuffed mice, and scroll tube.

>Book: Qabas Nama: An outside world book proporting to be a book to educate a prince in matters of etiquette, ethics, and general learning. It seems to have some historical value in a far-off land. This one is written in Japanese.
>Book: Le Morte de Arthur: This book is written in some outside world language, likely western in nature.
>Bottle of Red Sauce: Marked as Whispering Oni sauce, it promises a slow, mild heat.
>Set of 3 Stuffed Mice: These adorable mice seem to be made of silk, with little beads for eyes. They seem to be a family with a mother and two children!
>Scroll Tube: Made of dark wood, this tube is empty. It seems to echo curiously when touched.

>Traditionally, Rinnosuke would only accept barter unless pressed very hard. Which was central to the problem. These days, barter or cash is fine.
>You might, since it's Nazrin, but you can't imagine it would be much. And would probably work in your favor more if you traded.

>Could someone use another person's spellcard if they got a hold of one?

>That very much depends on who it is and what card they are trying to use. Someone with a broad basis of their power, like Patchouli, can theoretically use and adapt many types of card. While others, such as Marisa, have made kind of a career of stealing others cards. Other cards are so personalized and specialized it is difficult for anyone to use them. In your case, people associated with water would have the easiest time adapting your cards; kappa and the like.
