I used to loosely share your sentiment. Recent gameplay developments, however, have cemented it (e.g., SM64DS and SSBB). Mario may be famous, but Luigi plays better.

In any case . . . I'm still wondering about Touhou + MMBN . . . I may just make a topic for it, but what about? Touhou-related folders? Wonderings about what chars would fight (or play) like as Navis? Both? Or something else entirely? *sigh* More questions than answers, again.

Yesterday, I was helping my mom build her new house (along with several others). At one point we were taking a lunch break, and I announced my desire for a parasol. I didn't get around to joking about pink frilly parasols, tho.

Everyone who worked on it also signed the beams. I wrote the date "7/10/09", then drew a circle around the 9.

When you try to name your new dog 'Momiji' and then everyone shrugs it off but then they suddenly call it 'Mima' and you're like "What the...?! O_o" but you still agree. Everyone wonders why you had such a reaction because you're the only one who realizes the awkwardness of it all.

.....So yeah. My dog's name is Mima. XD

I mentally refer to several attacks in Acceleraiton of Suguri as e.g. Master Sparks ... basically because that's what they are, I guess.

Also I'm surprised no one tried to crack jokes about him in-game, but the game has mood whiplash to an extreme so I suppose there's no place for humor.

I was playing Ace Combat 5...again and was in the middle of the "Save the aircraft carrier" mission. Next thing I knew, I was humming Necrofantasia while shooting down enemy fighters. I didn't really mind since I liked it but it reminded be once again that I have gone over the deep end and am beyond salvation. I spent the final mission of the game humming Reach for the Moon ~ Eternal Smoke.

I can relate to the theme song replacement, seeing how Galaxy News Radio in Fallout 3 is a steady rotation of the same six oldies tunes played over and over. Solution: turn off radio option, open my Touhou music directory in Rhythmbox, set to Shuffle. Once fought Mirelurks to "UN Owen Was Her", which was pretty sweet.

Does he randomly spew out multi-colored orbs and such and come with a catchy theme?

-These days, if someone asks me if I know about the legend of Gungnir and Levantein, I tell them that both weapons are owned by two Vampire sisters and the weapons themselves can spew out red orbs of doom.

-ZUN's version of the Legend of Kaguya-hime is now canon in my mind.
