A friend of mine once hacked the SA music data file and replaced Hartmann's Youkai Girl with Rock Me Amadeus, and I think I would be amenable to doing the same.
Um... Some people aren't getting it... I mean to replace the themes with a remix of the same theme, not entirely different track from unrelated series.
Who am I kidding, Mokou's new theme is Through the Fire and Flames. (I do like her original theme a lot though).
I once replaced all the remixes in IaMP with the originals. :3
Oh? Did any fit as well, or better?I just found the IaMP versions to be kinda meh, really. And I used a BGM changer (http://iamp.mizuumi.net/wiki/Bgm_changer).
And for that matter, how did you access them? I would make a playlist out of that faster than deathbombing
You can actually replace the music in EoSD as far as I know, the music being in a separate folder and all. I haven't tried it yet, but theoretically, changing your arrange of choice's file format to .wav and naming it "th_01" or whatever the original music files were named replaces the game's music.I just confirmed this. Looks like you can put any .wav in there, but I think it forces the music to repeat at the time the original would have. At least, the song I put in there repeated prematurely. I just might compose an entire custom soundtrack. At least gives me something fancy to do with the songs I make.
AHAHAhahahaha!Wow that's pretty cool, sure has something over random music since it in some way "fits" with the boss.
OK let's do this. I'm going to go with EoSD.
