Title: How to translate Japanese sentences inside exe files?

I have attached an exe files along with a few other files needed to runa program called "adj.exe". After running this program inside Neko Project II PC-9801 emulator a screen comes up with two options. Select option 2 another screen will come up. Both screens have Japanese words and sentences. I need to change these Japanese words and sentences to translated English equivalent. I tried WinHex to fins Japanese words inside exe files and translate using Google translate and then replace with the English translation and save it but because I was not familiar that much with WinHex this didn't work. Could someone please help me with this project?
