I swore to never play these but thanks anyway..
I want the IDolM@ster to appear!
but i'm gettin DayBreak first thou

Ah, don't worry. I don't hold grudges. **polishes knife**
Guilty Gear is nice but Bleach is extremely easy to play. I played it just for the animation and appearances, nothing else (also hearing Neliels real voice for the first time when the Anime wasn't at that episode.
You know, I would KILL for Touhou on the PSP. I read some various articles people attempting it but it ran extremely choppy or not at all.
=(

I searched a little bit on Youtube and found PCB and SA on PSP running with 60 FPS.

From my own collection, I suggest:
Loco Roco (1 & 2) & Patapon - very colourful, energetic games to pass the time with. Loco Roco definitely 'feels' childish but is the most powerful anti-depressant I've ever known. Patapon, meanwhile, is stylish and rather difficult but kinda cool.
Lumines II - you will never need another puzzle game again
Every Extend Extra - It's a weird pseudo-shmup arcade... something... but it's awesome. You kill stuff by self-destructing!
Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles - Because it's a remake of Rondo of Blood, and you can unlock Symphony of the Night.
Star Ocean: First Departure & Second Evolution - JRPGs.
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth - Also JRPG, but with far more class.
FF7 Crisis Core - Or if you prefer a showy JRPG...
Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero - Infuriatingly difficult but awesome platformer.
Me & My Katamari - Why not?
Guitaroo Man Lives! - Just in case you need a music game.
-
Disgaea 1 + 2.
DJ Max Series.
I also second the Patapon and Loco Roco suggestions.
GBA Emulator with Touhoumon.
-
i'm getting Disgaea.. but only 2 thou.
Patapon is a classic that i wanna.. but loco roco..
anyways i want IdolM@ster and DayBreak~~~ and PERSONA
-
Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?
Seem like a hard enough game for you. ;D
-
not realli, i dun game agressively... except for good titles actually

Looks fake to me. Also since when is Sakuya a playable character in PCB?
-
she always is
-
Sakuya has always been playable in PCB...
Anyway, I also second Guilty Gear, Prinny, and Patapon. They're all really fun games in their respective genres.
-
*facepalm* I should really start playing PCB aswell instead of focussing too much on IN. Mokou is driving me nuts.
-
Mokou is love and is my second waifu
-
What about... that one Ratchet and Clank one?
My step dad has it. I played it once and it was way cute.
-
Definitely the DJ Max games. I'd recommend starting with Portable 2 because although Clazziquai is good for beginners, the song list isn't that great compared to the others.
And if you do get Guilty Gear, you should probably make sure it's Accent Core, and not like Slash or #Reload.
Oh, there's also Tales of Eternia, Rebirth, and Destiny 2.
-
Currently, the only PSP game I own is Wild Arms XF. I quite like it, but apparently I'm a freak.
-
If psp didn't exist, most of them probably will when to DS and PS2 :'(

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Only until I got a PSP ;D

psp -> ds games would suck. except disgaea was ok because the graphics and gameplay were relatively simple. look at gta; the people are almost bigger than the cars.
-
Thanks guys.
I tried:
Daybreak PSP Ver. : My main reason for it, it's cute >3
Patapon: Hours of frustration.. i'll get the hang of it.
Riveria: It has.. JAP DUBS...
Disgaea: It has.. JAP DUBS..
yea, i would like casual games thou... not djmax please, casual RPG is fine too..
-
Yggdra Union! The only turn-based strategy game I've ever played and enjoyed!
-
Seconding Lumines and EveryExtendExtra
Also, Crisis Core

Disgaea DS is horrible, and since this is a PSP thread, there isn't any reason why someone should actively seek it out over Disgaea for PSP.
Even if Pleinair happens to be my favorite character, period. It doesn't matter. I'd only recommend the DS version if you're thinking about playing the PS2 version.
-
I suppose.. but my psp analog stick has issues so DS would be appreciate right about now..
Playing Dissedia nw... and it's reasonably addictive, if only to play as Squall

Sorry to go off topic for a moment, but what makes Disgaea DS horrible? I don't have a PSP and I don't plan on getting one any time soon, and I had Disgaea DS on my list of games I wanted to get ASAP.
-
I wrote this awhile ago elsewhere, but here's what the DS version has:
- Touchscreen menus
- Option in the options to switch Kana to English for the touchscreen menus
- Map, top touchscreen
- Zetta joins you (after beating him)
- Worse graphics
- Lacks voice acting in a large majority of areas
- Healthy array of options
- Lag after attacks, comparable to what FFT was for the PSP
- Non-original music, feels "watered down"
- Introduction is by Norio Wakamoto
- Strangely, 4 levels of brightness of its own
- Identical button configuration from the PS2 and PSP versions
- Displays the real time in the top screen
- Three levels of zoom, "up close", "far away" and "in the middle"
- Lacks widescreen
- Pleinair is playable
-
Before people start whining about Elixir talking about worse graphics
the sprites are clearly downsized which make them look /really/ horrible, even by 2D standards OTL
Yggdra Union! The only turn-based strategy game I've ever played and enjoyed!
Not to mention the PSP version is by far easier.
Also! Im@s SP is out now. Well, I saw it on sale. It's pretty popular. Same with Pers1.
-
eh.. Hontou.. i want it.. ...
-
PSP games I have and find great.
Megaman Maverick Hunter X
Megaman Powered Up
Guilty Gear Judgment
Darkstalkers Chronicle The Chaos Tower
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles
Tekken Dark Resurrection
Killzone Liberation
Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-
Star Ocean: First Departure
Power Stone Collection
There are more PSP games that I think are great but I won't post those titles until I get the chance to get them myself and find out! ;D
-
Tekken Dark Resurrection and Crisis Core are pretty sweet
nowadays i only use my PSP for playing PSX games though (G-Darius <3)
-
Oh yeah, get Dracula X since it has Rondo of Blood in English. First time ever.
-
eh.. Hontou.. i want it.. ...
I saw three version, I personally would wanna get Missing Moon, but it up to you.
-
as long as there is Ami and Mami in one of them, that is all I need. Bonus points if Yayaoi is in it too but if she's not.. haf to see who she is mixed with.
