Can anyone explain to me why they're lowering the mana cost on Trundle's Q? He has a few small problems making him less desirable then all the other junglers, but none of those are mana costs, it's the animations on his Q and his W. Sometimes i have no clue what Riot are doing.

I had the opposite feeling testing it out - like I had no idea how to play any more, sadly.  Or maybe I was just too tired.  The altar mechanic is... interesting, to say the least?  also holy shit giantspiderboss makes Baron look like a pansy.

I dunno.  It's fun... or it would be if I could probably play competently and reasonably.

Meta on TT is pretty much tanky disruptor, Melee adc, and burst caster. Butt tons of CC.

0 cs supports don't really impact the map much and range adcs take too long to scale up.
The only way the could fix this was by making those new items which I haven't read yet.

TT is likely never to see a drastic change in the powerful picks just b/c of the team size and lack of theory crafting being put into the map.

They've stated it is an experiment, but a temporary week-long thing as an "experiment" for something where they would potentially sell it to you for a year for a certain price doesn't seem like the best kind of experiment to be doing. hippalus is realizing this now i think.

are people mad about the summoner icons though? because that's just a promotional thing, just like champion bundles and holiday promotions. nothing to get mad about here.

If Morello had his way, he would have outright REMOVED DFG.

Can anyone explain to me why they're lowering the mana cost on Trundle's Q? He has a few small problems making him less desirable then all the other junglers, but none of those are mana costs, it's the animations on his Q and his W. Sometimes i have no clue what Riot are doing.

Bear in mind the jungle is about to be remade to be harder, like the Season 1 jungle [Although not as hard], and Trundle was pretty much jungle king in S1. I highly doubt any major changes to junglers before the next jungle remake unless something is horribly broken.

That and single-target junglers are going to get some love in items/whatever. Which Trundle is.

Don't expect any large buffs. Just be happy there *is* a buff at all, it's the first time Trundle has had ANY balance changes.

all of those patch notes are done by searching for differences in tool tips. qol changes like the animation problems with trundle's spells will not be listed unless a bunch of trundle players testify to it first

there have been plenty of occasions where there were qol changes on the pbe but no one knew about them until the real patch notes

That's true, but i still don't see his mana becoming that much of a problem. i have played him in both the old jungle and the new jungle and i haven't had mana problems in either of them. So, assuming they're going for somewhere in-between i don't see it getting any worse.

Also, i liked it when he was the only champion to not get buffed or nerfed. At least it lasted for quite a while.

The triforce slow still remains, doesn't it? Plus, it greatly benefits his Q, which has a low cooldown, and deals tons of damage?

I lost a game today, and it taught me something valuable.

Even though you have over 300+ cs, even if you snowballed your lane so hard, even though you itemlocked at 30 minutes,  if you don't win those teamfights, all that shit won't matter anymore.

I know it's a silly reason. I realize now that i wasn't really clear with how i wrote that. It was meant to be like a silly tangent to the whole thing, not one of the main reasons.

The worst thing is nerfing Sona's HP does NOTHING to solve her problem.

Power Chord still has 700 range. A good Sona can still out-range any ADC and poke them all day long for obscene damage.

This is the wrong nerf. OK, if you get in range to kill Sona it's easier to do so [By the way, we just nerfed Blitz too]. She still has all her obscene damage and lane bullying.

They should have either dropped Valor's range, or lowered it's damage. Or maybe even lower Power Chord's damage instead. THAT would fix her issue, which is POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE.
