@The Good Girl: Imageshack gives you the codes for thumbnail links, I strongly suggest you use them before a Janitor gets to you first.

Oh my god I just figured out a really easy way to resize images to 400px by 400px or less

[img height=400]image.jpg[/img]
Depending on which dimension is larger. Then put [URL] tags around it to link to the full image!

In practice:

I am so awesome it hurts.

Not that I know of, except manually. However, this should become standard procedure, sooooooo... memorize it!

Alternately, I should talk to TSO about restricting image sizes the way pictures in signatures get scaled.

Sure thing. Allow me bend the rules a bit to demonstrate. Behold, Keine's true form, the Sukusuku Hakutaku.

The rules, however, state that images over 400 pixels by 400 pixels must be thumbnailed. So:

You're using Firefox, so if you were to 'Save Image as', it would save as its original full size. However, if you were to save that picture with DownThemAll, you would get the small 400 pixel picture, not the full size. To avoid this, use URL tags around it, like so:

I can't click on the picture in the Photobucket page, it's 100% unclickable. And don't tell me I need to 1. have an account and 2. be permanently logged on if I want to look at someone else's pictures on demand
