hi I didn't know where else to put this
For some reason I was bored enough to spend time working out the .MMD format that TH02 (and assorted other PC-98 games) use for the MIDI music, and wrote a converter so that you can listen to them in whatever standard MIDI-compatible media player you like. (I know about mmd2rcp, which I looked at a bit for information, but unlike rcpcv this keeps the loop points intact instead of doing a fade, and unlike TiMidity++ it handles the percussion tracks correctly...)
Anyway, here you go. If you have some other PC-98 game soundtracks that use .MMD files you can try the converter on them too. Have fun.

Oh, a new one that handles percussion correctly? This interests me.
I'll add a link directing viewers of my old MIDI conversion topic to this one.

Whoops, blame me screwing up the compiler settings. I'll reupload it after work.
edit: ok done

Hmm, I ran the program with a converted MMD file, but it just crashes and outputs a MIDI file with no data in it... I don't think it's supposed to do that.

What MMD file were you trying to convert?
