>Think about it though. We could borrow book without having to borrow books. It's just the words, not the paper itself we'd be taking, right? Plus, we wouldn't have to leave the house as much while we're studying.

>Research without leaving home... information from everywhere... could those fanboys actually be on to something good?

> "Are these expensive? I will probably stab myself later for thinking this, but...they actually sound some degree of useful."

>"They're awesome!" Koishi cries. "And you could probably get one, but it might be a little tricky. The kappa are trying to make computers now, but there's a few people that buy most of the stuff as soon as it's done." She frowns. "You might be able to talk someone out of theirs, but I don't think panties would be enough... even used."

> "Beyond being a medium for...ugh. How can you sing about that stuff? Have you never been the subject of it?"

>She grins. "The internet is a wonderful and terrible place! Both flattering and disgusting!"

...I know what's going to happen.

Still voting for opening the bottle; I have no real trepidation for doing so any longer. Kinda anticlimactic result after all that, but, for 100 yen, still a bargain, so. (Plus that final line clued me in on where to start for physical alteration research.)

That being said, I'm obviously not going to act unilaterally (and I want to give people a chance to figure it out on their own), so I'll go to bed soon and let other people weigh in.

>FUCK THIS NOISE

>Whatever this tiny satori is scheming, you figure it's high time to see what the hell it is.

>As it turns out, the cork top of Koishi's bottle isn't sealed on nearly as tightly as you thought: It comes off with a loud POP shortly after you start pulling on it.
>This is accompanied by a puff of magical smoke shooting out of the bottle, obscuring the air in front of you. It fades in the wind quickly enough, revealing a full-size Koishi hovering a few feet in the air in front of you, arms crossed and smirking down at you.

>"So, dear herrin, you have unsealed my might! I grant you a gift as a wish - but I must ask you. Do you want this gift as something to give to yourself? Or something to share with a... friend?"

Could go either way. I'm slightly more inclined to vote "friend" because that might get us both for being selfless, though getting anything for a "friend" could cause more nasty rumors.

>"What did you do?"

>You seriously doubt her face could accommodate a larger grin. "I gave you every girl's deepest desire - in a way you could share with friends! It should be ready soon!"

>How quickly can we deploy the army?

>Depends on how many. One or two would only take a split second. More than that with any complexity would take a second or two and probably seriously tax your concentration, especially on an empty stomach.
>You can handle more via the magic to coordinate them you designed into your spellcards, but declaring one would take a second.

>What sort of dolls would you like to deploy? You mainly use spear, sword, shield, danmaku burst, laser, or explosive dolls for fights. Most dolls themselves are somewhat multipurpose, but changing weapons in storage takes a second or two, and danmaku bursts take a moment to charge after summoning. You keep an okay amount of each handy when you're prepared for a fight - and right now you are, for the most part.
>Of course, Shanghai still hovers by you, ready but unarmed. Her lasers activate much faster than your other dolls, though.

>Koishi keeps backing away, rubbing at the developing bruise on her cheek. You'll have to act fast if you want to do anything before she recovers from that elbow.
