Whatever happened to that Zun-involved patchy game?

Title, I saw a preview or something on here like a year ago. It was some kinda shmup where you could shoot up or down, left or right, and the screen didn't move. I suppose the enemies could do the same. I don't remember how much Zun was supposed to be involved but I think he was. I don't think it was during April fools season.

Do you perhaps mean Magus in Mystic Geometries? I don't really know anything about the game, but based on your description it sounds about right.  http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Magus_in_Mystic_Geometries

That looks/sounds like it thanks. I thought I heard it was still in development, or something to suggest such, and I haven't even heard of Touhou back in 2006/7. (maybe 8 too I forget). Kinda sad there's only 1 boss in the finished product, oh well. I'll have to try to get my hands on it >=)
