Everything I draw is sketched in MSPaint with a mouse, then occasionally inked/colored in GIMP, though 99% of the time I am too lazy to do so. Questions/comments/insults/death threats/etc are welcome.

Sketching usually takes a couple of hours, depending mostly on how hung up on certain details I get. Eyes, hands, and face shape are always the most time-consuming. Coloring generally goes a little quicker.

Alas, mspaint+mouse. Back in the day I used to painstakingly smooth out every line (see here (http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/8168/decapitationishot.png)), but this is an extremely time-consuming process. We're talking hours, even after the drawing is basically finished. These days I figure if I'm going to spend that much time on something, I might as well just ink/color it like a normal person. :derp:

Yeah, my personal life's gone a little crazy lately. No worries though, I'm still around.

As for the drawing, I've been doing it in tiny intermittent bits over the past month or so. I spent a lot of time fussing over her eyes, nose, and the overall shape of her face, and I'm still not 100% sure they look right. :/

The shape of her face is great, and i'd flog anyone who said there was something wrong with the nose or eyes. About the only thing that looks off to me is that it kinda looks like she doesn't have a neck.

That looks way better. After closer scrutiny, I also noticed the position of her right leg (leg in the background) looks off too. Like, the angle where it's coming into her waist seems too steep or something, especially with the relative size of her huge right thigh.

Left: This one is really cute! Very cute as a pettan, especially that friendly facial expression :) The problem here is that the upper leg is a bit too short, if i measured her correctly (10 cm upper body, correct? her upper leg was like 3. The upper and lower body height should be roughly equal, not counting the feet if you draw them in a tippy-toe position :P) Also the neck is a little too long.

Middle: man, shes incredibly beautiful! Great breasts and eyes, too! the only slight problem i see with this one is that her legs are a cm too tall. (again, if my measurement is correct, her upper body is 10cm. her upper leg seems to get to end at 6.

Right: I saw the reference material you used for her as posted in this thread, and I think you pulled it off well XD Can't notice any flaws in this one :)

I hope this helps! And i looked at all your stuff in this thread. Its quite good, and I see you improved greatly since that first one. From mouse art to vectors is really quite an accomplishment! Good job ^^b I tried using a ruler to find mistakes. I am not so good at detecting with my eyes ^^;

Here, I redrew the boots to look less silly. I also redid the halberd since the original looked weird and out of place somehow. It still looks a bit "off" to me, though maybe I'm just imagining it.

Also, since you do line weighting, you can try softening the lines in that area. It really stands out, and it doesn't look all that appealing...

The shading on the rest of her body doesn't match the one in her hair. It looks unfinished.

Other than that, Reisen is fine. She has a huge smile on her face <3

And that's one hell of a curve you gave her torso~

Looks really nice! I love the smile on her face, the blush was perfectly done and placed :) Besides the flaws that have been pointed out already, its very well-done! And yeah, some smoother shading on the nipples would improve it a nice bit. Maybe something like this can help you with that
