Well, that explains it all for me, how Futo is so short-skirted, looking at his PixIv. I just realised that he also posted some "Hopeless Masquerade-styled" pixel art there, but I never bothered because he draws so many 18+ pictures. :V

Woah, this guy is responsible for Futo? I like his stuff... :blush:

Suprised to see ZUN/Tasofro letting someone who draws so much porn do some of the sprites, but I think he got a nice job done from the 3, 4 screens we have seen so far. Also, I wonder if he really meant Mamizou by this mysterious character... or was he the one responsible for the boss?

I asked this question once before, but it seems to have been ignored with the force of 25 Koishi fanboys. I guess.

Is there any other character in other fighting games whose has mechanics which are similar to Koishi's special ability?
(As in, automatically and forcibly launching an attack when some conditions are met)

I don't think people should judge some one's art skills by what they mainly draw. If he can do well maded sprites, then that's that.
Oh yeah, can any of you link to some of his work if possible?

Not that I can recall. At least not in the main fighting games. Maybe in one of the smaller games I haven't played....

That would be an interesting twist. If I am correct, Reimu doesn't even know who the god is right? Like she forgot or didn't care enough?

She never really knew who the Hakurei God is, and at most just made some very half-hearted "attempts" at discovering its identity (like letting the Three Faries search for its go-shintai).

It's be pretty cool to finally know his/her identity, but I think it's very unlikely...

That happened in the 3 fairies manga? Man I need to read the rest of it...

Before I knew she didn't know the God, I just assumed the God was the Dragon that helped make the Hakurei Barrier. Wouldn't that make sense? If the final boss turns out to be that dragon, but as a badass looking dragon girl, that would be awesome

Meiling will be the super-secret bonus character that's unlocked after you fight the last boss with everyone else and lose. After all, only dragon-type moves are super effective against dragons.

I always though that Reimu's Shrine was sort of connecting point between Gensokyo and Human World. Like, there is one point in the Hakurei Barrier which can be opened and closed without removing the whole thing, and it is located in Hakurei Shrine on both sodes of the barrier. It doesn't serve any other purpose than that, other than make it easy to locate and the guardian of the gate to live there. There mgiht have been a god there before the Barrier was created, but its now gone.

Nah, there's still a god there. Byakuren mentions that she can feel that the god is angry (which she claims to be the reason that the shrine gets so few visitors), Rinnosuke says he knows the name of the god (although considering it's Rinnosuke...), and it can still give its blessing of youkai extermination through the yin-yang orb (which is its go-shintai, according to OSP chap. 17).

And yeah, the Shrine is a point connecting the two "worlds"; IIRC Reimu describes it as being like a wall separating two territories, at the same time belonging and not belonging to both places.

I don't think anyone was serious about Mima in their speculations, though. It's just a fun running gag.

.....that said, her last appearance after she beat Alice in the extra stage did basically have her decide to become the god of the Hakurei shrine.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks Mima is going to be in any Touhou game. Obviously Rin Satsuki has a better chance! A scrapped character with no info on an ability and with zero personality?! She's perfect. She could fill any role as opposed to square Mima with her nice personality and pretty stars. Everything in this game points to Rin as the culprit! Just think about it for a moment.

is Ruukoto with a bunch of round missile launchers circling her

it's all a plan to get back at Reimu for abandoning her in the dusty shrine storehouse for 13 years
