Native Faith is tied with Hartmann's Youkai Girl. Reach for the Moon, Immortal Smoke came second. U.N. Owen is third.

Reach for the Moon ~ Immortal Smoke is a very close second though.

Seriously, I'm one of the few people that would consider EoSD their all-time favorite game in the series in terms of music and gameplay.

I agree for gameplay; EoSD is simple danmaku. No tricks, no funky life systems. Music...EoSD is hurt by the synthesizer, and it's not stellar overall, but it certainly has some of the best.
