Yuka wavers a bit, trying to express an emotion. Seems her face is stuck.

"As far as a curse goes, though, Prolly not. Best off trying to figure out how you'd be able to age something to Youkaidom again. Shouldn't be hard, given I'm still here."

You open up a can of exposition once you round them both up. Patchouli floats on a book, sipping some tea. "Reverted to a flower again, if irregularly. This IS interesting. Same thing as the godesses? I wonder."

From there she begins drawing books from the shelves. You wait for her to finish. "Nothing as simple as magic, sadly. We'd need a catalyst, though it may not be such in her case. Kinda like a Shikigami and the bonding familiar, though in her case, we need it to stick. Or we'd need to reverse her back, and the only person I know who got time magic to work is dead."

Hina answers for Patchy. "Really slowly. But we're making progress, radical solutions are a ways off."

Patchouli nods. You head off and find a suitable pot, and head to the sunflower field. Yuka twitches when you get there.

"Is that a pot? Please tell me that is not a pot."

You take great pains and pot Yuka very nicely.

"Eh. You better fix me up though, Kid."

You head with her to the SDM, she whistles. "Jeez, This place got wrecked."

You head in and greet Patchy. "Unno, She seems fine to me."

Patchouli flys over and picks Yuka up, pointing at a window and drawing it up higher so the sun reaches the desk, setting Yuka down on it. "Well done, I think we'll be able to study the case better with her here. If we're lucky, we might be able to jumpstart her without a catalyst."

You're sure this would work, in fact, Patchouli kind of said it. The issue is you probably couldn't get Yuka to take a shikigami one for obvious issues, and these kinds of catalyst themselves tend to occur rarely. So, you'd need to find something that works like one.

You head back through the Sunflower field. The sunflowers are acting normal now, without their glorious leader, it seems they don't do much. You start wandering through in search of the Sanzu River.
