DS is the stream file for Bounce FM (in TGTA 1.6x, dBu Music).

I did not get a crash at that part of the game in beta builds of 1.6....

Radio crashes occur much less often on 1.7 test builds, thankfully, due to a complete redo of every radio station and more attention to how the game processes streams. But until that arrives, least I can suggest is to be careful when using the in-game radio, sans the User Track Player.

I tried with no music, and instead "Last File Loaded: AUDIO\STREAMS\DS", it says "Last File Loaded: AUDIO\STREAMS\CR"

EDIT : nvm problem solved, there's a road that crashing, I used another road and not crashing at all...
I can't post the exact location crash right now, gonna work, so after I'm home I place that SS for crash location...
and, sorry for my bad grammar

The speedometer CLEO script may not load on some missions. I've had that happen mostly on Wu Zi Mu and those countryside race missions.

The crashing at that specific location...I have no idea what triggers that. CR would be K-Rose's (Black Night Funeral) stream file.

Simply delete GTA IV HUD.asi from GTA:SA's main directory.

This is among the many mod-based changes in TGTA I plan on reverting; though I like it more than SA's HUD it's probably better left as a user choice. ^^

Alright, so, I installed the Steam version and used this to downgrade the v3 .exe to v1.0 I copy-pasted over the model and music files and it starts up fine, but even in XP SP2 compatibility mod it still crashes right as the first cutscene starts. Sorry if this was already answered, but do you know a fix for it?

Just kidding. I neglected to put in the core files. I still have a problem, though. Now when I start a new game it just closes entirely, instead of freezing. The error log reads:

I'd recommend trying with a US executable, myself, since EU versions can be a bit finicky.

An alternate solution would be to delete trafic.cs in the CLEO directory. This eliminates the traffic handling mod but I plan to make it optional anyway.

I was confused since I have the EU executable, but I live in the US. I've no idea where to go for the US executable though. Removing trafic.cs from /CLEO worked, but now it's griping about stream.ini

SAVE OFTEN! Even after mod stability tests, it can still crash unexpectedly at times (sometimes with a nice little crash report too). From what I've seen most involve audio stupidity.

N.B. How to dive? I can't dive in (can dive, but temporary only then back to surface, even I mashing sprint button), and the weird part my oxygen not decrease at all.

Rebind your vehicle controls. I usually use SHIFT and LCTRL in flying.

Hold down LMB and look down to dive.

I know about the oxygen issue - this is a side effect of the pedestrian swimming script.

Quite similar to my desktop :o (though I use an i7-2600K, 8GB RAM, and a 6870 instead).

I got a bug at Fender Ketchup mission, the car won't go out unless you teleport (YX)
Is that the mod fault, or maybe the game glitch?

I've never had this problem when testing 1.6 on my laptop.

EDIT: Seems to be an in-game glitch according to Grand Theft Wiki:

Hmm, I'm occasionally get "AMBIENCE" error message when do a gang war.
Sometimes just passing through enemy territory too.
The most error I got during "Grove 4 Life" mission and before last mission.

I've gotten plenty of those crashes too just driving around the game world. :<

All the more reason to get this fixed while I'm not working on custom Freak Fortress 2 bosses! ^^

I'm getting kind of jealous that everyone can at least start playing this mod :|

I keep getting an event error when I try to start the game, it dies before it even opens it:

I've applied the gta_sa.exe's compatibility to winXP SP2,and it still crashes.
