It's basically the ultimate time waster, you get a little town inhabited by yourself and a bunch of randomly generated furrys, and you have to basically take care of your town, buy yourself cool stuff for your house, collect bugs, fossils, and horrible bouncing noise makers witch may or may not be secretly plotting to kill all sentient life, and you just generally waste time. It's main feature is an internal clock that makes it so that the state of the game is affected by real time I.E. if it's winter IRL, your town gets all snowy, if it's spring it's all flowery, and sometimes your villagers will move away while your not playing and make you sad :C

Have the original and Wild World. Haven't played either in an eternity, but I periodically go back to Wild World now and then. Sad to say though, I'm usually not very good at getting the golden items (best I can do is getting the golden shovel, which is usually obtained via some sort of gimmick rather than through actual work).
