Wildstar, anyone?
« on: May 31, 2014, 10:25:21 AM »
Or is there just not an MMO crowd here anymore (if there ever was, even)?  :ohdear:

I'm Nobu on Widow. Also, NitoriKawashiro on Pergo and Chachamaru on Evindra. I'm signed up for a serious hardcore guild already on Widow and I know next to nothing about the game so far. :toot:

I play some mmos sometimes but i dont think this one looks like its for me. I tend to prefer my mmos to be more actionish and less mmoish. Stuff like pso2, vindictus, elsword, etc. basically what tera claims it is (though it feels more like a traditional mmo to me too)

That's funny, because the more actiony aspect with skillshots and area attacks is one big thing that attracted me to Wildstar. Spellslinger is all skillshot heals, which sounds ridiculous to my Holy Priest sensibilities. And not just heal zones, but actual 'I gotta aim and hit people with my heal spells'.

So excite.

Im sure it has more action elements over WoW and such but it didnt look like the kind of mmo where you can theoretically solo endgame bosses as any class by skillful dodging and such. I might be wrong though i only watched a few vids of the game.
Art style wasnt for me either though tbh. But yeah my point is i think there is actually a decent mmo audience here! Just... I doubt ill play this myself.
