One thing's for sure. With the increasing number of TD genre games out there. We might get sick of it......or not.

Then again, the game LOOKS MASSIVELY WICKED. Heck I don't care if they say it's a "Doto rop-iff". I'm definitely gonna try this out, and no one's stopping me.


Finally, it's refreshing to see some Warcraft Renditions.

I love td games and lame t the severe lack of quantity of more than puny budget ones, soo yeah. However i dont really consider dota style games to be very TD-like. They are more group pvp-esque imo. Even if you are a full time lane pusher its not very td like since mazing and/or tower placement are simply no factors at all. Furthermore pvp is still extremely important for lane pushers since they can cost their team the game simply by failing to be cautious enough around enemy gankers.

Anyway i dont care for dota or lol much but ill give this a try, but am not hyped.

Well what are peoples thoughts on removal of last hitting, gold, and items? I guess the trait system having multiple paths which allows heros fill more then one role with out having to be a total joke/niche thing(carry shaker/support sven/ap xin zhao)  makes up for it. Along with global exp I guess games will be incredibly shorter unless you wanted to drag the game out and gain more exp. Im also thinking this game will never be competitive :V

I'm not seeing recolors, I'm seeing vastly improved models. I get your point man, but Valve has put a lot of effort into making them nicer looking.

I'm looking forward to this! I wasn't expecting much before we got the latest gameplay footage, because I was under the impression that Blizzard was butthurt for not taking in Icefrog while they could, but after seeing these videos it's very clear that Blizzard just wants to do their own thing. Definitely going to give it a try.
