> You are Seija Kijin, Counterattacking Amanojaku.
> You are ambitious in overturning society, and such has granted you many enemies in your pursuit of it. However, you've started to build up allies (and a large amount of fairies) in favor of this, and have started to take things in a better way than previously. With a few new cheat items and new abilities of your own, you're ready to aid the lesser residents of Gensokyo much more properly than before. This time, no one's here to stop you...
Recap of the previous (https://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,21089.0.html): Day 2: After departing from Sekibanki's house, you headed next door to a clothing shop, where you ended up finding your next two allies, Louise and Mirai Gaz?, a demon from Makai and a book Tsukumogami. After gathering clothes and returning home, you created a third contrasting existence from Benben, before sending Raiko to purchase foods for the group. Shortly after, you noticed a fight at the Garden of the Sun, revealing the possible newcomers you spoke to before under threat against Yuuka, and Raiko defending them. You guided the three back to your base while Raiko diverted Yuuka's attention, eventually fleeing from her. After conversing, the three decided that they may stay, however, Wakasagihime would need a body of water (which Gasanae had begun work on), and Sekibanki just being unsure about staying. You decided to have everyone introduce themselves to each other while you waited for Raiko and Gasanae. Eventually, Raiko returned, however, Yuuka had trailed along behind her. This did not seem to bring danger though, as her visit was seemingly innocent...
> You are currently inside with the doubles and Raiko.
> Nod.
> "Of course."
> "Should we check on Gasanae?"
>_
-
> "Yeah, let's."
> Head back outside and head to the back.
-
> "Yeah, let's."
> Head back outside and head to the back.
> You return to the back with the double-group and Raiko.
> There's some fairies watching Gasanae from a distance.
> There's a large hole present... There's, uh... 'Rain' pouring into it. The rest of the base seems dry and out of it however.
>_
-
> Give a low whistle.
> "Impressive."
-
> Give a low whistle.
> "Impressive."
> "It's still going. Thanks for waiting." Gasanae nods.
>_
-
> "Thanks for doing. How are you holding up?"
-
> "Thanks for doing. How are you holding up?"
> "Fine. Preparing usually means I'm wasting less on it." Gasanae says. "The inside one might be a bit harder since it's, well, inside."
>_
-
> "Right. I guess we should let the two of them know they can come back."
-
> "Right. I guess we should let the two of them know they can come back."
> "They left?"
>_
-
> "We didn't know when this would be done, and the mermaid can't be out of water for too long."
-
> "We didn't know when this would be done, and the mermaid can't be out of water for too long."
> "Sorry I couldn't get it finished sooner then..."
>_
-
> Wave a hand dismissively.
> "No worries. Though I will tell you I'm curious to know how you do your two-into-one fusion thing."
-
> Wave a hand dismissively.
> "No worries. Though I will tell you I'm curious to know how you do your two-into-one fusion thing."
> "Perfect Fusion?"
>_
-
> "Yeah, that."
-
> "Yeah, that."
> "I still can't really tell you." Gasanae says.
>_
-
> Frown a bit.
> "Why not?"
-
> Frown a bit.
> "Why not?"
> "Only a few people know it. Daiyousei from coming up with Fusion originally... Me for making this level of it. And Reimu."
> "I'm still worried about you spreading it around." Reimu 2 speaks.
> "Uh, well, that's her reason..." Gasanae says.
>_
-
> "C'mon, Reimu, you know you can trust me."
-
> "C'mon, Reimu, you know you can trust me."
> Reimu blinks...
> "It's not something that needs to be known anyways. What would you even do with it?"
>_
-
> Look around. Who is present?
-
> Look around. Who is present?
> All of the doubles (Reimu, Raiko 2, Benben 2), Raiko, and Gasanae, as well as fairies that were watching Gasanae.
>_
-
> Shrug.
> "The same thing she does with it."
-
> Shrug.
> "The same thing she does with it."
> "And that would be..." Reimu looks over.
> "Hang on, I think Marisa knows it too ehehe." Gasanae says. "Both ours and the other's could fuse back then."
>_
-
> "I just meant combining and uncombining with people I trust. Not, like, spilling the beans to some tengu rag or something."
-
> "I just meant combining and uncombining with people I trust. Not, like, spilling the beans to some tengu rag or something."
> "Mmm..." Gasanae considers. "It'll only be a matter of time before you figure it out, probably, since you already know basic fusion..."
>_
-
> Look over to Reimu.
-
> Look over to Reimu.
> "I still don't believe more should know it. What you know already is enough."
>_
-
> Frown, then sigh.
-
> Frown, then sigh.
> "I guess I could tell you. On the conditions that you don't corrupt or deviate from it." Gasanae says. "I don't want you doing something like fusing someone to something to keep them out of your way."
>_
-
> "...I didn't think you could even do something like that."
-
> "...I didn't think you could even do something like that."
> "I-It was an example. Just don't do that sort of thing."
>_
-
> "Right, of course."
-
> "Right, of course."
> "Is that a deal? There's kind of a lot of people out here, so I'd have to tell you in private."
>_
-
> Nod.
-
> Nod.
> "Alright then."
>_
-
> "So...where to?"
-
> "So...where to?"
> "We can head inside. Or just fuse."
>_
-
> "The latter sounds faster."
> Hold out a hand. Take Gasanae inside us if she takes it.
-
> "The latter sounds faster."
> Hold out a hand. Take Gasanae inside us if she takes it.
> Gasanae takes your hand, however, her energies refuse to be accepted into you.
> "Er... which of us..."
>_
-
> "Oh, sorry, if you'd prefer the other way that's fine by me."
-
> "Oh, sorry, if you'd prefer the other way that's fine by me."
> "N-No, you're the boss." Gasanae says, allowing he energies to flow into you.
>_
-
> Take them all in.
> Look ourselves over once it's done.
-
> Take them all in.
> Look ourselves over once it's done.
> You finish up...
> At first glance, your body has decreased in size for those areas... The black in your hair has turned teal, and you seem to have a closed umbrella in your hand now.
>_
-
> Are we any shorter or taller?
> "Huh..."
> Try taking the umbrella's energy inside ourselves as well.
-
> Are we any shorter or taller?
> "Huh..."
> Try taking the umbrella's energy inside ourselves as well.
> No, you don't believe so.
> You try to do so...
> "Hang on, hang on!" You hear Sanae. "That's part of the thing we have to teach you."
>_
-
> Oh, uh, sorry.
-
> Oh, uh, sorry.
> "So." Your body speaks. "Ah." "So you already know how to fuse and unfuse. That's the first step." You hear Kogasa.
> "The next step is simple. Our energies need to be balanced out. There shouldn't be more of one person than any other in the same body." Sanae instructs. "But just throwing away someone's life isn't good, so you have to set aside excess energy into something that you'll be physically in contact with."
>_
-
> Look behind us at our upside-down ribbon.
> How about that ribbon?
-
> Look behind us at our upside-down ribbon.
> How about that ribbon?
> "Well, it could work. Remember that if you're not in contact with it for a while though, the energies will start to be unbalanced. Unless you and the other person already had balanced energies, I think, but there hasn't been a case like that yet."
>_
-
> Frown a bit.
> Try perfectly balancing all of the energies inside us, including our own, by flowing excess into the ribbon.
-
> Frown a bit.
> Try perfectly balancing all of the energies inside us, including our own, by flowing excess into the ribbon.
> You begin to try and balance the present energies out...
> ...
> Almost...
> "Er, you know how to do it now... It might be better and easier to do on one person, so let's split, alright?"
>_
-
> Hold on...practice makes perfect.
> Keep trying.
-
> Hold on...practice makes perfect.
> Keep trying.
> You keep trying...
> Soon, you finally manage to reach an equilibrium, and you start to feel much different than a regular fusion does...
> Staying like this for too long would be bad, in regards to keeping secrets...
>_
-
> We don't need to stay together for very long anyway, this is just for practice. We'll just not dwell on private things we don't want our component people to know about.
> "Huh...so this is what this is like."
> How do we sound?
> How do we look?
-
> We don't need to stay together for very long anyway, this is just for practice. We'll just not dwell on private things we don't want our component people to know about.
> "Huh...so this is what this is like."
> How do we sound?
> How do we look?
> Your voice mostly takes influence from Seija, having some of Gasanae's as well. Kogasa's seems the least noticeable through it all though.
> You check in the water...
> You seemed to have changed dramatically.
> Although your hair and horns have retained their looks, your eyes are now of different colors. One matching your hair, and the other red (which STILL matches a part of your hair~).
> Your outfit is now similar to a shrine maiden's outfit. It also seems to lean towards blue in color.
>_
-
> "Neat. I wonder if I could summon Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama this way. Gasanae could, so I should be able to as well..."
> Look over to Reimu.
-
> "Neat. I wonder if I could summon Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama this way. Gasanae could, so I should be able to as well..."
> Look over to Reimu.
> "You probably can." Reimu comments. "But I'd guess they're busy or something."
>_
-
> "Hm. Well, it was nice to exist, but I can't stay. Nice meeting you, Reimu."
> Split back down into Seija with Sanae and Kogasa inside her.
-
> "Hm. Well, it was nice to exist, but I can't stay. Nice meeting you, Reimu."
> Split back down into Seija with Sanae and Kogasa inside her.
> You return the energies, soon splitting up.
>_
-
> Well, that was interesting.
-
> Well, that was interesting.
> "That's how Perfect Fusion is. You're one person."
>_
-
> Try preparing our magic to flip Gasanae's ability to flow her own energy out of us from "able" to "not able".
> Fascinating...hmm. It is okay to do this for people without telling them how it's done?
-
> Try preparing our magic to flip Gasanae's ability to flow her own energy out of us from "able" to "not able".
> Fascinating...hmm. It is okay to do this for people without telling them how it's done?
> You attempt to prepare...
> You can't seem to.
> "You said for people you trust. But yea, don't tell anyone else how this is done." You hear Sanae.
>_
-
> Well, yeah, I'm not gonna go around doing this with just anyone. But I'm curious about doing it for, well, the mermaid and the loup-garou specifically, since they expressed interest.
-
> Well, yeah, I'm not gonna go around doing this with just anyone. But I'm curious about doing it for, well, the mermaid and the loup-garou specifically, since they expressed interest.
> "You said people you trust..."
>_
-
> Frown.
> If that's a no, then just come out and say no.
-
> Frown.
> If that's a no, then just come out and say no.
> The life energies flow out, bringing Sanae and Kogasa to your view.
> "I don't want you just fusing everyone." Sanae says. "First you said people you trust, now it's those that are interested in it and later it'll probably be anyone that asks."
> "Then who can she do it with?" Kogasa asks.
> "... I-I gotta think."
>_
-
> "Fine, fine, whatever."
-
> "Fine, fine, whatever."
> "Y-You can still do it with some people." Kogasa says. "We just have to think about who."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "I think you two, or Gasanae, are gonna have to tell the mermaid and loup-garou why they can't do it as well, though."
-
> Nod.
> "I think you two, or Gasanae, are gonna have to tell the mermaid and loup-garou why they can't do it as well, though."
> "Because fusion isn't something to just toy around with." Reimu says.
> "Uh, yea, I guess that'd work..." Kogasa says.
>_
-
> "If that's what you gotta tell them, then okay."
-
> "If that's what you gotta tell them, then okay."
> Sanae nods.
>_
-
> "Anyway, how much longer do you think we'll need here before this is full?"
-
> "Anyway, how much longer do you think we'll need here before this is full?"
> Sanae turns towards the hole.
> "A few minutes, maybe."
> "I'd say longer than that." Kogasa says.
> "Yea. An hour?"
> "Maybe." Kogasa shrugs.
>_
-
> "Mmm, all right. Maybe I'll still search out Kazami, then. ...Not to do what we just did, obviously."
-
> "Mmm, all right. Maybe I'll still search out Kazami, then. ...Not to do what we just did, obviously."
> "Right..."
>_
-
> Look to Raiko.
> "You gather up everyone else and let them know about the new food supply. How much did it all run you, anyway? Just curious."
-
> Look to Raiko.
> "You gather up everyone else and let them know about the new food supply. How much did it all run you, anyway? Just curious."
> "I got enough, that's what matters, right?"
>_
-
> Blink.
> "Yeah. I'm just curious. You're not gonna, like, get in trouble for spending too much or anything like that."
-
> Blink.
> "Yeah. I'm just curious. You're not gonna, like, get in trouble for spending too much or anything like that."
> "That's good." Raiko sighs.
>_
-
> Frown a bit.
> "C'mon, Raiko. You know I trust you just fine."
-
> Frown a bit.
> "C'mon, Raiko. You know I trust you just fine."
> "Ah. Thanks." Raiko smiles.
>_
-
> "No prob. Anyway, yeah, round up everyone and let 'em know about the new supply. I'm gonna pay Kazami a visit."
-
> "No prob. Anyway, yeah, round up everyone and let 'em know about the new supply. I'm gonna pay Kazami a visit."
> Raiko nods.
>_
-
> "Be back soon, everyone."
> Take flight and head toward where Yuuka lives.
-
> "Be back soon, everyone."
> Take flight and head toward where Yuuka lives.
> You head out for Yuuka's area...
> She doesn't seem to be outside around here yet.
>_
-
> Does she have a house?
> If she does, and there's no one else in the immediate vicinity, fly down to the door and knock.
-
> Does she have a house?
> If she does, and there's no one else in the immediate vicinity, fly down to the door and knock.
> Yes.
> There are fairies around...
>_
-
> Eh, whatever.
> Fly down to the front door and knock.
-
> Eh, whatever.
> Fly down to the front door and knock.
> You fly down and knock.
> Yuuka emerges.
> "Oh? I didn't expect you to come here instead."
>_
-
> Begin preparing our magic to make a 'contrasting existence' Yuuka that is sympathetic to and supports our cause (but is otherwise the same).
> "Well, I did still feel kinda bad about what happened, and I wanted to apologize not in front of a crowd."
-
> Begin preparing our magic to make a 'contrasting existence' Yuuka that is sympathetic to and supports our cause (but is otherwise the same).
> "Well, I did still feel kinda bad about what happened, and I wanted to apologize not in front of a crowd."
> You start to have your magic at the ready once again.
> "Apologize?"
>_
-
> Is it actually preparing successfully?
> "For the barrier thing."
-
> Is it actually preparing successfully?
> "For the barrier thing."
> Yes.
> "Ah, right. It's fine."
>_
-
> "Still, I'd like to do something for you to make it up."
-
> "Still, I'd like to do something for you to make it up."
> "Really now? It wasn't that big of an event. In fact, this is quite suspicious~"
>_
-
> "Don't meta, hey. That's for me to do."
-
> Frown.
> "If you really don't want anything, then okay."
-
> "Don't meta, hey. That's for me to do."
> "If I were to bump into you among a crowd and personally come to your home to apologize, would that not be suspicious?"
> Frown.
> "If you really don't want anything, then okay."
> "Nothing for something as minor as that."
>_
-
> "Well, all right. See you around, then."
-
> "Well, all right. See you around, then."
> Yuuka nods.
>_
-
> Take flight and head back toward the lake where we met Wakasagihime.
-
> Take flight and head back toward the lake where we met Wakasagihime.
> You depart, starting for the lake shore you visited last time...
> The mermaid is there, along with the werewolf sitting next to the lake.
>_
-
> Approach them. If they see us, give a wave.
-
> Approach them. If they see us, give a wave.
> You approach.
> "Oh, Seija?" Wakasagihime questions.
> Kagerou turns to see you.
>_
-
> "Gasanae's done. We have water for you."
-
> "Gasanae's done. We have water for you."
> "W-What, already?" Wakasagihime asks.
> "We just left a bit ago though." Kagerou says.
>_
-
> "Yeah. Bad timing, huh? Sorry about that."
-
> "Yeah. Bad timing, huh? Sorry about that."
> "Do you want us to come back right now then?"
>_
-
> "It's up to you."
-
> "It's up to you."
> "Alright. We'll come now." Wakasagihime says.
>_
-
> "Okay."
> Look thoughtful for a moment.
> "Oh, and, uh, not to be the bearer of bad news, but I asked Gasanae about the perfect combination that you two were interested in, and apparently she doesn't want that info getting spread around. Sorry."
-
> "Okay."
> Look thoughtful for a moment.
> "Oh, and, uh, not to be the bearer of bad news, but I asked Gasanae about the perfect combination that you two were interested in, and apparently she doesn't want that info getting spread around. Sorry."
> "Oh. I guess that's good in it's own way..."
>_
-
> Shrug.
> "You can talk to her if you feel like you wanna know more, I guess."
-
> Shrug.
> "You can talk to her if you feel like you wanna know more, I guess."
> Kagerou looks to Wakasagihime for her answer, but she's just holding her arms up.
> She then picks her up once again.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Okay, let's go."
> Take flight and head back to our house. Make sure the two of them can keep pace.
-
> Nod.
> "Okay, let's go."
> Take flight and head back to our house. Make sure the two of them can keep pace.
> You start back home.
> "So, how does it look?" Wakasagihime asks as Kagerou catches up with her to you.
>_
-
> "It's a pretty good size, I think. But you'd be the best judge of that."
-
> "It's a pretty good size, I think. But you'd be the best judge of that."
> "Okay. ...Are we going to pass through the field again?"
>_
-
> "Kazami's? We don't have to if you don't want to."
-
> "Kazami's? We don't have to if you don't want to."
> "It's fine." Kagerou speaks. "Whichever way is best."
>_
-
> "Best not to intrude. We'll go around."
-
> "Best not to intrude. We'll go around."
> The two nod.
> You continue on home, uninterrupted by Yuuka or other inconveniences.
>_
-
> Lead them to the back where the pond is.
-
> Lead them to the back where the pond is.
> You lead the duo to the back. Reimu's not present anymore.
> "So, where'd all the water come from? How cool is it?" Wakasagihime questions.
>_
-
> "Gasanae made it rain. I assume it's normal temperature water accordingly."
-
> "Gasanae made it rain. I assume it's normal temperature water accordingly."
> "...Oh."
> "Wanna try it?" Kagerou asks.
> "Sure."
>_
-
> Gesture at the pond.
-
> Gesture at the pond.
> Kagerou slowly lowers Wakasagihime before the mermaid slips from her arms, dropping into the water.
> "It's good." She emerges.
>_
-
> "Excellent."
-
> "Excellent."
> "I'm glad you think so." Gasanae says.
>_
-
> Look to Kagerou to see what she thinks.
-
> Look to Kagerou to see what she thinks.
> She seems to be smiling, satisfied.
> "What about the inside one?" Wakasagihime asks.
> "Still not there yet..." Gasanae says.
>_
-
> "Yeah, that one might be a bit."
-
> "Yeah, that one might be a bit."
> "Oh. This is still fine now though. Thank you." Wakasagihime beams.
>_
-
> Gesture to Gasanae.
> "She did all the work."
-
> Gesture to Gasanae.
> "She did all the work."
> "Sorry for taking so long~" Gasanae says. "The longer I take though, the easier it is to complete."
>_
-
> "No worries."
-
> "No worries."
> "But they came right back after having left. It makes me feel a bit bad for taking that long." Gasanae says.
> "It's no big deal. It's made now, right?" Wakasagihime says.
>_
-
> "Yeah, and we don't need you overexerting yourself."
-
> "Yeah, and we don't need you overexerting yourself."
> "It wouldn't be overexerting. Just using a bit more resources than I'd like."
>_
-
> "Well, still."
-
> "Well, still."
> Gasanae nods.
> "Right."
>_
-
> Look to Gasanae.
> "Did you get anything to eat, by the way?"
-
> Look to Gasanae.
> "Did you get anything to eat, by the way?"
> "I'm not too hungry anymore. Well, yet."
>_
-
> "Oh, that's good."
-
> "Oh, that's good."
> "Reimu probably has by now though."
>_
-
> "I should hope so. I imagine she was first in line."
-
> "I should hope so. I imagine she was first in line."
> "I wonder how the real one's doing right now..."
>_
-
> "Hopefully just fine, with no reason to suspect she has a double now."
-
> "Hopefully just fine, with no reason to suspect she has a double now."
> "So, just to be sure, if the real Reimu comes, we've got to hide the double, right?"
>_
-
> "For the time being, yeah."
-
> "For the time being, yeah."
> Gasanae nods.
> "Um, why can't we fuse, exactly, miss Gasanae?" Kagerou asks.
> "I'm... I'm still thinking things through."
>_
-
> "Oh, right, that. Like I said, I'll leave that to you."
-
> "Oh, right, that. Like I said, I'll leave that to you."
> Kagerou seems a bit disappointed.
> "So you're both staying, then?" Gasanae asks.
> Wakasagihime nods.
>_
-
> "I'm gonna head inside, okay?"
-
> "I'm gonna head inside, okay?"
> Gasanae nods.
> "See you."
>_
-
> Gave a slight wave.
> Head back out front and then, if Shinmyoumaru isn't out front, inside.
-
> Gave a slight wave.
> Head back out front and then, if Shinmyoumaru isn't out front, inside.
> You wave and return to the front.
> No inchling, so you head inside.
> As usual, the bedroom seems to be the only room your group aside from fairies frequents.
>_
-
> Who's in our bedroom now?
-
> Who's in our bedroom now?
> Everyone except Wakasagihime, Gasanae, and Kagerou. The focus of the group seems to be Sekibanki, Mirai, and Louise.
>_
-
> Listen in on what's going on, then. We don't want to take that focus away.
-
> Listen in on what's going on, then. We don't want to take that focus away.
> "Don't just treat them badly because they're fairies. They all know how to behave." Raiko says.
> "Of course." Sekibanki nods.
>_
-
> How does Shinmyoumaru look right now, again?
> Where is she looking?
-
> How does Shinmyoumaru look right now, again?
> Where is she looking?
> She's still large.
> Towards Sekibanki.
>_
-
> Who has the arrow right now? Us?
> Hmm...
> Try magically flipping Shinmyoumaru's attention from Sekibanki to us.
-
> Who has the arrow right now? Us?
> Hmm...
> Try magically flipping Shinmyoumaru's attention from Sekibanki to us.
> Yes.
> You attempt to flip Shinmyoumaru's attention...
> She does notice you afterwards, giving a wave.
>_
-
> Give a slight wave back, then beckon her silently.
> Once we've beckoned, head back down the hallway until we reach the money room (though don't go inside).
-
> Give a slight wave back, then beckon her silently.
> Once we've beckoned, head back down the hallway until we reach the money room (though don't go inside).
> You discreetly beckon shinmyoumaru, then head out to the entrance of the money room.
> After a moment, Shinmyoumaru mets with you.
> "Hm?"
>_
-
> "I learned how to fuse the same way Gasanae does. Do you want to try it, Princess?"
-
> "I learned how to fuse the same way Gasanae does. Do you want to try it, Princess?"
> "Oh. Really? Yea." Shinmyoumaru nods. "Do we have to, um... do it the way she does?"
>_
-
> Shake our head.
> "Don't think so. I tested it with her and we didn't have to then."
-
> Shake our head.
> "Don't think so. I tested it with her and we didn't have to then."
> "Oh. Alright." Shinmyoumaru nods again.
>_
-
> Hold out a hand.
> "Well then, shall we?"
-
> Hold out a hand.
> "Well then, shall we?"
> "I'm kinda excited." Shinmyoumaru takes your hand.
>_
-
> Smile just a bit.
> "Me too, Princess."
> Perform a perfect fusion with Shinmyoumaru, using our back ribbon as before. Examine ourselves once the process is complete.
-
> Smile just a bit.
> "Me too, Princess."
> Perform a perfect fusion with Shinmyoumaru, using our back ribbon as before. Examine ourselves once the process is complete.
> You begin the process instructed by Gasanae. Gathering the energies, and balancing them out...
> Your body takes form...
> You have on Seija's outfit on it seems, however, the color leans towards Shinmyoumaru's. The red arrows from Seija's dress are now the color of Shinmyoumaru's hair, while your hair resembles your coutnerparts, mainly Seija's, also accompanied by her horns. Once again, the red is replaced with Shinmyoumaru's lavender color. Your eyes are red and she possesses the horns Seija does.
> Seija's transferred horns are still large, and as are the other parts.
>_
-
> Mmm...what a wonderful feeling, to exist as the two of them and yet one person.
> What's our name? Do we have one? If not, do our components have any ideas?
-
> Mmm...what a wonderful feeling, to exist as the two of them and yet one person.
> What's our name? Do we have one? If not, do our components have any ideas?
> Seija x Shinmyoumaru forev-
> No, you're not naming yourself something like that...
> You consider...
> Kijinshin? Sukujin?
> You sigh a bit in thoght...
>_
-
> Shinja, maybe? That's reasonably close to a name...
-
> Shinja, maybe? That's reasonably close to a name...
> It could do for now, but there's no rush. Gasanae didn't seem like hers was timed...
>_
-
> Right, right. Hmm, what else...Kijuna...Seijamaru...
> Where's the mallet?
> Where's the arrow?
-
> Right, right. Hmm, what else...Kijuna...Seijamaru...
> Where's the mallet?
> Where's the arrow?
> The arrow still seems to be in your clothes...
> ...
> As does the mallet.
>_
-
> Well, that's good, at least!
> Head back outside to the back.
-
> Well, that's good, at least!
> Head back outside to the back.
> You head back to the back.
> Gasanae's sitting with her feet in the water, watching Wakasagihime.
>_
-
> Is Kagerou around?
> Is anyone looking at or near us?
-
> Is Kagerou around?
> Is anyone looking at or near us?
> You check...
> She is.
> No. Fairies are playing in the water as well.
>_
-
> Head over to Gasanae while watching the mermaid.
-
> Head over to Gasanae while watching the mermaid.
> You walk to Gasanae as the mermaid plays in the water with the fairies.
>_
-
> How tall or short are we compared to how our components looked when they formed us?
> Sit down net to Gasanae. If we have bare feet, dip our legs in the water as well.
> "Hey."
-
> How tall or short are we compared to how our components looked when they formed us?
> Sit down net to Gasanae. If we have bare feet, dip our legs in the water as well.
> "Hey."
> You're still tall. Possibly a bit shorter than Seija was.
> You sit down and dip into the water.
> "He-Huh!?" Gasanae jumps a bit. "N... O-Oh..."
>_
-
> "Huh?"
-
> "Huh?"
> "Seija. And... The princess?" Gasanae questions.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Yeah. Still working on a name."
-
> Nod.
> "Yeah. Still working on a name."
> "It doesn't have to be part of both of you. It could be anything."
>_
-
> "Right. I'll probably still try a portmanteau, but if I have any sudden ideas, I may go for those instead."
-
> "Right. I'll probably still try a portmanteau, but if I have any sudden ideas, I may go for those instead."
> Gasanae nods.
>_
-
> "So...this is really neat. Existing like this, I mean."
-
> "So...this is really neat. Existing like this, I mean."
> "It's like that with a friend, or closer..." Gasanae says. "It's an incredible feeling."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Yeah...it's so wonderful."
> Smile.
> "I had to stop myself from picking a couple of really cheesy names."
-
> Nod.
> "Yeah...it's so wonderful."
> Smile.
> "I had to stop myself from picking a couple of really cheesy names."
> "Ehehe. Like what~"
>_
-
> "That's classified~"
-
> "That's classified~"
> "Aw, I told you fusion, you at least owe me something about it in return!"
>_
-
> "Yeah, but fusion isn't embarrassing."
-
> "Yeah, but fusion isn't embarrassing."
> "Hmph." Gasanae pouts.
>_
-
> Giggle.
> "I'll let you have something else over me, okay?"
-
> Giggle.
> "I'll let you have something else over me, okay?"
> "Fiiine."
>_
-
> Watch Wakasagihime while still talking to Gasanae.
> "Looks like she's enjoying it."
-
> Watch Wakasagihime while still talking to Gasanae.
> "Looks like she's enjoying it."
> "Mhm."
> Kagerou comes over from her spot to the two of you.
> "I think it's because it's much safer here." Kagerou says. "I feel that way, at least."
>_
-
> Smile a bit.
> "We're glad to hear that. That's what we want for all of us, after all."
-
> Smile a bit.
> "We're glad to hear that. That's what we want for all of us, after all."
> "Thanks for letting us stay." Kagerou smiles.
> "It's our pleasure."
>_
-
> "Yes, absolutely."
-
> "Yes, absolutely."
> Kagerou returns her look towards Wakasagihime and the fairies.
> She notices Kagerou after a bit, and waves for her to join.
>_
-
> Watch Kagerou to see what she does.
-
> Watch Kagerou to see what she does.
> "No thanks, I'm fine." Kagerou waves back.
> "Are you sure? It's nice in here." Wakasagihime says. "Did you forget how to swim?"
> "No, that's not it."
> "You better join next time I ask then."
>_
-
> Do we have towels or other ways to dry ourselves off?
-
> Do we have towels or other ways to dry ourselves off?
> No, you don't believe so. It might be useful to ask Gasanae for a list of usual home conviences. She doesn't have to be the one to get them, but as one with a home and family, she may know what could make this place more appealing.
>_
-
> "Oh..."
> Look to Gasanae.
> "Hey, I need to pick your brain about what would be good home conveniences to get for around the place. Like, I was going to offer Kagerou a towel if she went in, but we don't have any."
-
> "Oh..."
> Look to Gasanae.
> "Hey, I need to pick your brain about what would be good home conveniences to get for around the place. Like, I was going to offer Kagerou a towel if she went in, but we don't have any."
> "You don't have any- how do you dry after bathing then? What all are you missing?" Gasanae pauses. "Right, you need to know what there is to miss first. Sorry."
>_
-
> "Yeah, sorry. You're a lot more knowledgeable about this sort of thing than us. Maybe you should take a look around at some point and determine what we really need."
-
> "Yeah, sorry. You're a lot more knowledgeable about this sort of thing than us. Maybe you should take a look around at some point and determine what we really need."
> "Will do." Gasanae nods. "Just gotta remember you don't have some of what we do..." She mumbles to herself.
>_
-
> Frown a bit.
-
> Frown a bit.
> "Y-You don't want me writing enough to fill 3 pages, do you?"
>_
-
> Shake our head.
> "Sorry, that's not what I meant."
-
> Shake our head.
> "Sorry, that's not what I meant."
> "Oh. Alright."
>_
-
> "Anyway, I'll be counting on you and our outside-world knowledge of...stuff."
-
> "Anyway, I'll be counting on you and our outside-world knowledge of...stuff."
> "Ehehe, right. You can leave it to me."
>_
-
> Look back to Kagerou to see if she's changed her mind.
-
> Look back to Kagerou to see if she's changed her mind.
> You look over.
> She seems to be examining her hands as if something were on them.
>_
-
> "You okay, Kagerou?"
-
> "You okay, Kagerou?"
> "Mm? Yea. Why?" Kagerou looks over. "Oh. I'm fine with Wakasagihime just getting something. I could still enjoy it. You don't have to ask me if I want something like she got."
>_
-
> "I asked because you looked lost in thought."
-
> "I asked because you looked lost in thought."
> "Oh. Well, I'm fine."
> "Don't hold problems to yourself. We're here to help." Gasanae says. "I mean, just look at this." She kicks her feet lightly.
> "Mm." Kagerou nods.
>_
-
> Shrug.
> "If you say so."
-
> Shrug.
> "If you say so."
> Kagerou returns towards the water, before checking her hands, or rather, her nails again.
> "I might just be able to dry you of though, actually." Gasanae says.
>_
-
> "Ooh, that would be convenient."
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "I wonder if I could just flip someone from wet to dry, too?"
-
> "Ooh, that would be convenient."
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "I wonder if I could just flip someone from wet to dry, too?"
> "Probably. Why not give it a try?" Gasanae nudges towards Kagerou.
>_
-
> Look to Kageerou ourselves.
> "You willing to try?"
-
> Look to Kageerou ourselves.
> "You willing to try?"
> Gasanae shrugs.
> Kagerou pulls up her sleeve some for a moment, before frowning and returning it obliviously.
>_
-
> "...Uh..."
-
> "...Uh..."
> ...
> Wakasagihime swims up to the shore and stares at Kagerou in wonder.
> It takes her a moment to notice the attention.
> "W-What?"
>_
-
> Glance over to Gasanae, then look back to the mermaid and loup-garou.
-
> Glance over to Gasanae, then look back to the mermaid and loup-garou.
> You glance. They have her attention too.
> The mermaid stares.
> "Y-You're weirding me out Wakasagihime..." Kagerou says.
> "That's just the stare you were giving off. So since I told you why I was doing mine, will you tell me yours?" Wakasagihime asks.
> "I was just thinking a bit..."
> "Penny for your thoughts then?"
>_
-
> "Uh, do you need us to give you two some privacy?"
-
> "Uh, do you need us to give you two some privacy?"
> "Is it personal?" Wakasagihime asks.
> "Well, yea, but haven't you noticed it by now?"
> Wakasagihime thinks for a bit.
>_
-
> Look mildly confused.
-
> Look mildly confused.
> "Excuse me. I'll start considering the new things." Gasanae gets up.
> "Hime..."
>_
-
> "Uh...I'll just be going with Gasanae, then."
> Stand up ourselves.
-
> "Uh...I'll just be going with Gasanae, then."
> Stand up ourselves.
> You stand up as Gasanae starts towards the house.
> "You-"
> "I haven't been changing much." Kagerou speaks.
>_
-
> Stop and look back in curiosity.
-
> Stop and look back in curiosity.
> You step back.
> "Change?"
> "After the moon. I'm still like this. I should be going back. Back to looking like people normally do, not showing obvious signs that I'm not human."
> "A-Ah..." Wakasagihime realizes.
>_
-
> Blink.
> Begin heading back toward the two conversing.
-
> Blink.
> Begin heading back toward the two conversing.
> You start to return towards the two.
> "You haven't been noticing." Kagerou says.
> "You're still you. You'll always look good to me, and you've known that I think that forever."
> "Not everyone thinks that though. And I liked being my normal self."
>_
-
> "Um, pardon me, but I think I could help you..."
-
> "Um, pardon me, but I think I could help you..."
> "Huh?"
>_
-
> "You were talking about, uh, changing somehow? Or not changing. Not enough for you, at least. I might be able to help with that, whatever it is."
-
> "You were talking about, uh, changing somehow? Or not changing. Not enough for you, at least. I might be able to help with that, whatever it is."
> There's a pause...
> "How?"
>_
-
> "I can reverse things. Things as solid as object or as abstract as concepts."
-
> "I can reverse things. Things as solid as object or as abstract as concepts."
> "So you can fix this?"
>_
-
> "Probably. I can at least try, and I might have backup plans if it doesn't work. So, what exactly is going on?"
-
> "Probably. I can at least try, and I might have backup plans if it doesn't work. So, what exactly is going on?"
> "Normally, I look like this only on full moons. When it's over, I'd look like a human would. These claws and ears, f-for one, wouldn't be apparent. But I haven't looked like I should for a long time now."
>_
-
> Try magically reversing Kagerou's appearance from her full moon appearance to her human appearance.
-
> Try magically reversing Kagerou's appearance from her full moon appearance to her human appearance.
> You try to utilize your magic...
> Kagerou's body shifts some as her wolf ears bend down until they're no longer visible. Her claws have decreased in length and just appear to be slightly longer than normal fingernails now.
> "H-Huh!?" Kagerou checks her hands, then her arms, and pauses...
>_
-
> "There, that should do it."
-
> "There, that should do it."
> "J-Just like that? For real?"
>_
-
> Nod.
> "I can undo it if you want, too."
-
> Nod.
> "I can undo it if you want, too."
> "How can I thank you? T-This is so great..."
>_
-
> Smile and wave a hand dismissively.
> "No need. As long as you're with us, that's good enough for us."
-
> Smile and wave a hand dismissively.
> "No need. As long as you're with us, that's good enough for us."
> "Thank you..." Kagerou examines her body once more.
>_
-
> Glance over to Wakasagihime.
-
> Glance over to Wakasagihime.
> Wakasagihime seems a bit sad.
>_
-
> Adopt a curious look.
> "Something wrong?"
-
> Adopt a curious look.
> "Something wrong?"
> "U-Uh... does this mean you're still not going to swim?" Wakasagihime asks.
> "I would, but I can't dry off well." Kagerou says.
> "Right."
>_
-
> "Oh, I can do that too."
-
//I am pretty sure you have thought about reversing Hime's appearance from not having legs to have legs.
Just making sure you have thought about that, but I know it's not the moment to bring that up.
-
I suggested it earlier and she declined. I might offer it again, but I'm in no hurry to do so. In this instance, I'm thinking instead of flipping between wet and dry.
-
> "Oh, I can do that too."
> "Then I guess all I'd need is a swimsuit." Kagerou says.
>_
-
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "...Would you be willing to let me try something experimental?"
-
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "...Would you be willing to let me try something experimental?"
> "Which of us?"
>_
-
> "Kagerou."
-
> "Kagerou."
> "Of course." She replies.
>_
-
> "All right."
> Look around. Is it just the three of us present?
-
> "All right."
> Look around. Is it just the three of us present?
> You look around.
> There's still fairies in the water. Gasanae has excused herself and is gone.
>_
-
> Are any of the fairies paying any attention to the three of us?
> If not:
>> "Here goes..."
>> Try flipping Kagerou's clothes from a full-body dress to a two-piece swimsuit.
> If any fairies ARE paying attention to us, do not do the above.
-
> Are any of the fairies paying any attention to the three of us?
> If not:
>> "Here goes..."
>> Try flipping Kagerou's clothes from a full-body dress to a two-piece swimsuit.
> If any fairies ARE paying attention to us, do not do the above.
> No. They're all playing joyfully, oblivious to the scene or Kagerou's problem.
> You try to flip Kagerou's clothes...
> It doesn't work...
>_
-
> Hmm...
> Try flipping Kagerou's dress from one piece to two pieces.
-
> Hmm...
> Try flipping Kagerou's dress from one piece to two pieces.
> You try another attempt...
> Nothing...
>_
-
> Frown.
> "Shoot, it's not working. I guess I can't help with that. Sorry."
-
> Frown.
> "Shoot, it's not working. I guess I can't help with that. Sorry."
> "What were you trying?"
>_
-
> "To change your dress to a swimsuit. I guess they're not opposite enough for me to do it, though."
-
> "To change your dress to a swimsuit. I guess they're not opposite enough for me to do it, though."
> "The mallet can't even make something waterproof?" Wakasagihime questions.
>_
-
> How much power does the Mallet currently have?
-
> How much power does the Mallet currently have?
> It's full...
>_
-
> "...I guess I could try that instead. If that's okay."
-
> "...I guess I could try that instead. If that's okay."
> Kagerou nods.
>_
-
> "All right."
> Try flipping Kagerou's clothes from water-absorbent to water-proof.
-
> "All right."
> Try flipping Kagerou's clothes from water-absorbent to water-proof.
> You try to flip Kagerou's clothes...
> It... may have worked?
>_
-
> "Okay, I think that did it. Give it a try."
-
> "Okay, I think that did it. Give it a try."
> Kagerou dips her elbow in the water and examines it after pulling it back out.
> "Huh... You know, this only changes a bit. I'll still get wet and have to dry off. But I guess I could dry off with my clothes?"
> Wakasagihime shrugs.
>_
-
> Flip Kagerou's elbow from wet to dry.
-
> Flip Kagerou's elbow from wet to dry.
> You try to flip...
> "Oh..."
> "Hm?" Wakasagihime questions.
>_
-
> Chuckle.
> "Like I said before, that's easy."
-
> Chuckle.
> "Like I said before, that's easy."
> "Still, swimming in a dress is-"
> "Oh come on Kagerou, this is already enough to be fine with getting in, right?" Wakasagihime interrupts.
> "Alright..." Kagerou smiles.
>_
-
> "Go get 'em, tiger. Or wolf. Or whatever."
-
> "Go get 'em, tiger. Or wolf. Or whatever."
> "It's wol-" Kagerou is pulled down into the water.
>_
-
> Chuckle.
> Watch the two of them.
-
> Chuckle.
> Watch the two of them.
> You watch Kagerou resurface and slap water towards the mermaid.
> "I was speaking."
> "You can speak in the water, see?"
>_
-
> Sit back down and dangle our feet in the water again.
-
> Sit back down and dangle our feet in the water again.
> You return to sitting at the edge.
> "Yea I can, but-"
> "Since you're in now, why don't we see how well you can move in that?" Wakasagihime says.
> "Well I wanted to relax... The water isn't actually too cold and-"
> "Everyone else is playing though. Don't leave me alone here."
>_
-
> "Don't forget for later that I can fix that for you too."
-
> "Don't forget for later that I can fix that for you too."
> "Fix what? My dress?"
>_
-
> "Wakasagihime being left alone."
-
> "Wakasagihime being left alone."
> "I-I'm here." Kagerou says. "I'm not ignoring her."
>_
-
> "Well, yes, but in the event you need to be somewhere else..."
-
> "Well, yes, but in the event you need to be somewhere else..."
> Kagerou looks confused.
>_
-
> Shrug.
> "Just sayin', it could happen. If it doesn't, then it doesn't."
-
> Shrug.
> "Just sayin', it could happen. If it doesn't, then it doesn't."
> "Like when? That sounds troubling..."
>_
-
> "Well, do you two live together?"
-
> "Well, do you two live together?"
> "Not... exactly."
>_
-
> "Perhaps she would want to travel somewhere while you're at home, then."
-
> "Perhaps she would want to travel somewhere while you're at home, then."
> "It's not like we always have to stay together."
>_
-
> "Exactly."
-
> "Exactly."
> "What?" Kagerou seems more confused.
>_
-
> "If she wants to go somewhere and do something and you're not around, how will she?"
-
> "If she wants to go somewhere and do something and you're not around, how will she?"
> "I guess she wouldn't..."
> "That's how it's usually been." Wakasagihime says. "I've been fine just at the lake though."
>_
-
> "Of course. Still, it's something to keep in mind."
-
> "Of course. Still, it's something to keep in mind."
> "...I guess?"
>_
-
> "...Uh, sorry for interrupting."
-
> "...Uh, sorry for interrupting."
> There's silence as the fairies play in the water behind the two.
>_
-
> Watch the fairies, but keep half an eye on the two youkai.
-
> Watch the fairies, but keep half an eye on the two youkai.
> The fairies seem to be having races in the water, while others are trying to make the biggest splash and arguing about who's were bigger.
> The air still seems a bit too heavy to the two for them to do anything...
>_
-
> "...I'll, uh...head back inside."
-
> "...I'll, uh...head back inside."
> "Oh. Um, see you then." Kagerou says.
> Wakasagihime waves.
>_
-
> Return the wave.
> Stand back up.
> Flip our feet and legs from wet to dry.
-
> Return the wave.
> Stand back up.
> Flip our feet and legs from wet to dry.
> You wave back and stand up.
> You then flip your feet and legs from wet to dry, successfully.
>_
-
> Head back to the front of the house.
-
> Head back to the front of the house.
> You return to the front.
> None of the group is out here. Most, if not all of the fairies are in the back, in fact.
>_
-
> Head inside.
-
> Head inside.
> You head inside.
> There are still fairies in here. They may not have heard of the new pool, probably.
>_
-
> Are the fairies congregated in one room?
-
> Are the fairies congregated in one room?
> No.
>_
-
> Based on what the outside fairies were doing, how much personal space did Waggyswaggy have?
-
> Based on what the outside fairies were doing, how much personal space did Waggyswaggy have?
> Still a lot. It was as if the fairies stayed to the other end of the water. Only a few were scattered along.
>_
-
> Head into the room with the most fairies.
-
> Head into the room with the most fairies.
> You check the rooms and head into the one most heavily populated by fairies.
>_
-
> "Hey, everyone. Did you all see we have a pond now?"
-
> "Hey, everyone. Did you all see we have a pond now?"
> "What/A pond/Like, fish and stuff/Who is that?" The fairies question.
>_
-
> "Yeah. C'mon, follow me, and I'll show you."
> Exit the room, seeing if the fairies follow.
-
> "Yeah. C'mon, follow me, and I'll show you."
> Exit the room, seeing if the fairies follow.
> You depart.
> It takes a bit, but some of the fairies start following. This leads to the rest in the room eventually following them.
>_
-
> Head outside and to the back.
-
> Head outside and to the back.
> You return behind the house.
>_
-
> Look back to make sure the fairies are following us.
-
> Look back to make sure the fairies are following us.
> There's a larger fairy group than was in the room following you.
>_
-
> Look at the fairy group and gesture at the pond.
> "Make sure to let Miss Wkasagihime the mermaid have her space, okay?"
-
> Look at the fairy group and gesture at the pond.
> "Make sure to let Miss Wkasagihime the mermaid have her space, okay?"
> You gesture.
> The fairies chatter about the pond's size and the fairies already present in there, before some start to settle in.
>_
-
> Head back inside to the bedroom.
-
> Head back inside to the bedroom.
> You return to the rest of the group.
>_
-
> What's going on in here?
-
> What's going on in here?
> Gasanae is split up again, and the group is talking about Kogasa.
> "I guess I'd sorta be doing it for free here." Kogasa says.
> "It's been peaceful, sort of. We don't really need anything right now." Raiko says.
> "And that's good." Raiko 2 follows up.
>_
-
> "What's going on?"
-
> "What's going on?"
> "Kogasa's a blacksmith. Or something." Yatsuhashi says.
>_
-
> "Whoa, really? Nifty."
-
> "Whoa, really? Nifty."
> "What-ty?"
> "Like, neat. Or good."
> "Oh."
> "So we have a blacksmith, someone that's good at... making clothes." Raiko lists.
> "I wouldn't say that good-"
> "I think the occupation for that is tailor." Sanae says.
> "Who?"
>_
-
> "I'd say that good, given what we saw in your shop."
-
> "I'd say that good, given what we saw in your shop."
> "I had help from Mirai..."

> Shake our head.
> "Been occupied with other stuff."
> "Hmph."
>_

> "As an apology, tell me one of the embarrassing names you considered then."
>_

> "Unless it's a repetitive occurrence and they're not quitting it." Raiko adds. "Right?"

> "...Uh...to remain calm and collected at all times."
> "I'm not sure any of us know how the mallet works better than you, but maybe you didn't specify enough?" Sanae says. "Or tried for something too big?"
>_

> Frown.
> "Can someone please tell me exactly what's going on out here that's making you all ask these questions?"
-
> Frown.
> "Can someone please tell me exactly what's going on out here that's making you all ask these questions?"
> "A lot of magic got loose..." Mirai speaks up.
> "An everyone's starting to feel a bit weird." Louise says.
> "More than a bit." Sekibanki frowns.
>_
-
> "Define 'weird'."
-
> "Define 'weird'."
> "Well I don't think everyone feels the same, but I find myself not very confident in being gentle." Louise says.
> "That's a long way of saying it."
>_
-
> "Tch. All right, lemme see what I can do."
> Head into the bedroom proper.
-

-
> "There, it's out."
> "Oh. So nothing bad happened yet." Raiko sighs. "Can you do that for the rest of us? Before something does happen..."
>_
-
> "Yeah, sure."
> Go around the room and 'heal' everyone else the same way we 'healed' Sanae and Raiko 1.
-
> "Yeah, sure."
> Go around the room and 'heal' everyone else the same way we 'healed' Sanae and Raiko 1.

> The fairies seem to be making a commotion, while Kagerou and Wakasagihime are trying their best to not get too involved.
>_

> "Hey, uh, do either of you have any small wishes? I need to make more room for the magic energy I'm draining out of those fairies to get them to calm down."

> "Just wondering about wearing something like this that's waterproof..."
> "Still?"
>_

> "Louise might be able to do that for you."
> "The... blonde lady in that hat, right?"
> "That's a lot of people, even to me." Wakasagihime says.
> "The one usually with Mirai then?"
> "That's better."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "That's her."
-
> Nod.
> "That's her."
> "Okay. Where is she? Inside?"

>_
-
> "Outside, by the lake."
-
> "Outside, by the lake."
> Louise nods, heading out.
> Mirai quickly follows.
>_
-
> Follow them out.
-
> Follow them out.
> You follow behind the two as they round back towards the lake outside.
> "You wanted to speak to me?" Louise asks.
> "Oh. Yes. About a swimsuit."
>_
-
> Let this conversation continue uninterrupted.
-
> Let this conversation continue uninterrupted.
> "You want one?" Louise asks.
> Kagerou nods.
> "Well, I'd have to make it... How do you want it? Like, what kind and how large... the color..."
> The two begin to talk business...
>_
-
> Look over to Wakasagihime.
-
> Look over to Wakasagihime.
> She's checking herself and her own outfit out.
>_
-
> Move closer to her.
> "Everything alright?"
-
> Move closer to her.
> "Everything alright?"
> "Yea. I was just thinking about a swimsuit myself. It's not too much that I'd want one though."
>_
-
> "Does your current ensemble not work like that already?"

> "Does your current ensemble not work like that already?"
> "It does. I mean, it's still a different appearance."
>_
-
> "True."
-
> "True."
> "But it'd be too small. Like, it's just a swimsuit, and I don't have legs, so that'd be even less."

> Look a bit to the side.
> "Like I said, I didn't want to be impolite."
-
> Look a bit to the side.
> "Like I said, I didn't want to be impolite."
> Wakasagihime nods.
>_

> Look back.
> "So what's it like having a tail, anyway? In general, not in...that manner."
-
> Look back.
> "So what's it like having a tail, anyway? In general, not in...that manner."
> "My lower body feels like one leg, I guess, if it's normally two legs for you or four for others... Movement is very free, but there still are a few things I can't do."
>_
-
> Look down at our own legs.
> "Huh...interesting."
-
> Look down at our own legs.
> "Huh...interesting."
> "D-Did I say something weird?"

-
> "Maybe a way without losing your tail could be possible."
> "I-I want my arms and everything else too, okay? I don't want a change if it'll take away those."
>_
-
> "Well, temporary changes are always possible, so that you won't actually lose anything."
-
> "Well, temporary changes are always possible, so that you won't actually lose anything."
> "Even temporarily?"

> "Sort of..."

> Glance back at forth between Mirai and Louise with the smallest bit of a grimace.

> "Um..." Mirai considers. "Yuuka might be a bit of trouble soon..."
>_

> "Won't be as badly?" Kagerou questions.

>_
-
> Veer to the left while still absorbing that magic.
-
> Veer to the left while still absorbing that magic.
> You float left quickly as you continue.
> "I guess you're not trying to face me at all then..." Yuuka points her parasol.
>_
-
> Is she pointing it at us?
>> If so, keep veering to the left.
> "No, I'm trying to fix what happened."
-
> Is she pointing it at us?
>> If so, keep veering to the left.
> "No, I'm trying to fix what happened."
> Yes.
> "Oh. Not a fairy... So you came here instead of letting me come there, huh?"
>_
-
> Keep absorbing the magic.
> "You can visit us if you want, sure. But I thought it would be more polite to not make you wait for a fix."
-
> Keep absorbing the magic.
> "You can visit us if you want, sure. But I thought it would be more polite to not make you wait for a fix."
> "And what is this fix exactly? Draining me?"
> You're done with what's around Yuuka, at least.
>_
-
> What about what's inside her?
> "Draining the foreign magic that's making you angry for no reason. You're not the only one this happened to."
-
> What about what's inside her?
> "Draining the foreign magic that's making you angry for no reason. You're not the only one this happened to."
> You haven't started.
> "And you're hiding for that..."
>_
-
> Begin absorbing the mallet magic inside Yuuka back into the mallet.
> "Would you want to confront someone that's super strong and irrationally angry?"
-
> Begin absorbing the mallet magic inside Yuuka back into the mallet.
> "Would you want to confront someone that's super strong and irrationally angry?"
> You begin to do so.
> A thin laser emits from Yuuka's parasol.
>_
-
> Are we still veering left, or did we stop?
> Is the parasol still aimed directly at us?
-
> Are we still veering left, or did we stop?
> Is the parasol still aimed directly at us?
> You are.
> No, she's not keeping on you well.
>_
-
> Speed up just a but (unless that would plow us straight into the laser).
> Keep absorbing the mallet energy out of Yuuka back into the mallet.
-
> Speed up just a but (unless that would plow us straight into the laser).
> Keep absorbing the mallet energy out of Yuuka back into the mallet.
> You fly faster.
> A large beam of light blows past you, missing completely.
>_
-
> Try flipping Yuuka's ability to sense our presence from able to unable.
-
> Try flipping Yuuka's ability to sense our presence from able to unable.
> You attempt...
> It doesn't seem to work.
> Yuuka lowers her parasol again,
>_
-
> Keep draining the magic back into the mallet.
-
> Keep draining the magic back into the mallet.
> You continue.
> Yuuka seems to only watch your direction as you circle her.
> You finish.
>_
-
> How full is the mallet?
> "There. Really sorry about that. Hopefully it won't happen again."
-
> How full is the mallet?
> "There. Really sorry about that. Hopefully it won't happen again."
> Nearly full. You can't do this for another person without it filling completely.
> "Hm..." Yuuka narrows her eyes.
>_
-
> Make our stuff visible again.
> Make ourselves visible again.
-
> Make our stuff visible again.
> Make ourselves visible again.
> You make yourself completely visible again.
>_

> Are there flowers immediately below us? If not, descend to the ground.
> Regardless of the results of the above, give a slight wave.
> "Yo."
-
> Are there flowers immediately below us? If not, descend to the ground.
> Regardless of the results of the above, give a slight wave.
> "Yo."
> No.
> "Greetings now?"
>_
-
> "Problem-solving first, pleasantries after."
-
> "Problem-solving first, pleasantries after."
> "And where did this problem come from?"
>_
-
> "Experimentation with a magic device. Some of the magic inside it got loose accidentally, and that magic agitates youkai."
-
> "Experimentation with a magic device. Some of the magic inside it got loose accidentally, and that magic agitates youkai."
> "Hm."
>_
-
> Frown.
> "Come to think of it, it's rather distressing that it made it all the way out here. I suspect I'll have some more messes to clean up..."
-
> Frown.
> "Come to think of it, it's rather distressing that it made it all the way out here. I suspect I'll have some more messes to clean up..."
> "Better get to it then..."
>_
-
> "Right. Before I go, though, the tool's getting pretty full, and I won't be able to undo much more without using it some. Is there anything quick and simple I can do for you? It can be as meaningful or not as you prefer."
-
> "Right. Before I go, though, the tool's getting pretty full, and I won't be able to undo much more without using it some. Is there anything quick and simple I can do for you? It can be as meaningful or not as you prefer."
> "What do you mean?"
>_
-
> "Well, for example, the first time I had to do this, the person with me asked for really long hair. Your request could be as something as whimsical as that, if there's some personal aesthetic change you'd like."
-
> "Well, for example, the first time I had to do this, the person with me asked for really long hair. Your request could be as something as whimsical as that, if there's some personal aesthetic change you'd like."
> "Hm." Yuuka glances up for a moment. "I'll choose that as well then."
>_
-
> "You got it."
> Use the mallet to make Yuuka's hair long enough to reach the ground when she stands upright.
-
> "You got it."
> Use the mallet to make Yuuka's hair long enough to reach the ground when she stands upright.
> You grant a wish to lengthen Yuuka's hair.
> "Needs work..." Yuuka examines her hair.
>_
-
> "Hmm?"
-
> "Hmm?"
> "Nothing."
>_
-
> "Are you sure? I can do something more for your hair if you have a concern, or something else entirely, if you want."
-
> "Are you sure? I can do something more for your hair if you have a concern, or something else entirely, if you want."
> "I'm sure. Though speed... Never mind."
>_
-
> Adopt a curious look.
-
> Adopt a curious look.
> Yuuka doesn't respond to your curiosity.
>_
-
> Shrug.
> "If you say so. If there really is plenty of other loose magic out there, though, hopefully there'll be others I can use it up on so I'll have to space to take it all back in."
-
> Shrug.
> "If you say so. If there really is plenty of other loose magic out there, though, hopefully there'll be others I can use it up on so I'll have to space to take it all back in."
> "If you have no others, I'll come up with something else."
>_
-
> "Oh, are you coming with me, then?"
-
> "Oh, are you coming with me, then?"
> Yuuka shakes her head.
>_
-
> "Then anything I do for you would need to be done now."
-
> "Then anything I do for you would need to be done now."
> "I suppose I will have to pass then."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Okay. Are there any other youkai you know of in the immediate area?"
-
> Nod.
> "Okay. Are there any other youkai you know of in the immediate area?"
> "You'll have to search, as I don't know where they are exactly right now."
>_
-
> "Shoot, okay. Anyway, thanks for the help, and sorry again that this happened."
-
> "Shoot, okay. Anyway, thanks for the help, and sorry again that this happened."
> Yuuka nods.
>_
-
> Is there anyone we know on The Hill?
-
> Is there anyone we know on The Hill?
> You consider...
> Nope. You don't know anyone from the Nameless Hill.
>_
-
> "Later."
> Take flight and head back to our house.
-
> "Later."
> Take flight and head back to our house.
> You return to your... 'house.'
>_
-
> Everything all quiet here?
> What other youkai do we know about in the vicinity?
-
> Everything all quiet here?
> What other youkai do we know about in the vicinity?
> Yes.
> There may be Youkai at the hill, but none you know...
>_
-
> Where Mirai?
-
> Where Mirai?
> Not outside...
> She may be inside with the others, as you told them to tell others you were going out.
>_
-
> Head back inside, looking for Louise.
-
> Head back inside, looking for Louise.
> You advance into the house...
> Louise is alongside the rest of the group, aside from Wakasagihime, Kagerou, Raiko 2, and the fairies. At least you believe this is Raiko in here...
>_
-
> Wave to Louise.
> "All set."
-
> Wave to Louise.
> "All set."
> "You did it?"
>_
-
> "Yep."
-
> "Yep."
> "That's good..."
>_
-
> "In a way. There might be even more of a need to clean up than I originally thought."
-
> "In a way. There might be even more of a need to clean up than I originally thought."
> "What did you think?" Reimu asks. "Didn't the last time spread much further than the castle? And this time was more, right?"
>_
-
> Is that true?
-
> Is that true?
> Yes.
>_
-
> "...Crap."
-
> "...Crap."
> "What do you mean crap?" Raiko asks. "I thought you cleaned up what was in here and in us?"
>_
-
> "Yeah, i cleaned up here. But who knows how much of Gensokyo was affected."
-
> "Yeah, i cleaned up here. But who knows how much of Gensokyo was affected."
> Reimu sighs.
>_
-
> Frown.
> "Look, I'll fix it as best I can, okay?"
-
> Frown.
> "Look, I'll fix it as best I can, okay?"
> "Any way we could do something about it?" Reimu questions.
>_
-
> "Hmm...I'm not sure..."
-
> "Hmm...I'm not sure..."
> "It'd be better than just having you go around trying to fix it alone."
>_
-
> "True. I'm not sure how anyone will be able to help with the actually energy return process, but I'd appreciate crowd control help, at the very least."
-
> "True. I'm not sure how anyone will be able to help with the actually energy return process, but I'd appreciate crowd control help, at the very least."
> "Who do you want with you then?" Sanae asks.
>_
-
> "...Probably not two of anyone at the same time, at least. That would be weird for other people to see."
-
> "...Probably not two of anyone at the same time, at least. That would be weird for other people to see."
> "And I'm probably out too." Reimu speaks.
> "We'll go." Kogasa says.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Sorry, Reimu."
-
> Nod.
> "Sorry, Reimu."
> "Just means I won't have to do more... But remedy this quickly."
>_
-
> "Right. I'll do my best."
-
> "Right. I'll do my best."
> "Us too." Sanae chimes.
>_
-
> Who is in the room again?
> "Is there anyone else that wants to stay? I'm not gonna make anyone come that doesn't want to."
-
> Who is in the room again?
> "Is there anyone else that wants to stay? I'm not gonna make anyone come that doesn't want to."
> Everyone but the fairies, Raiko 2 (or original Raiko...?), Kagerou, and Wakasagihime.
> "I'll come, but mostly to get to the village." Louise says.
> "I guess I can come too." Raiko speaks.
>_
-
> Look slightly uncertain while looking at Raiko.
> "...Er, which one are you?"
-
> Look slightly uncertain while looking at Raiko.
> "...Er, which one are you?"
> "The original."
> "How could you not recognize your own-"
> "S-She's Shinmyoumaru too." Kogasa interjects.
> The two Tsukumogami children pout against Kogasa.
>_
-
> "That and they look identical."
-
> "That and they look identical."
> "Maybe we should change that."
>_
-
> The Benbens look different, at least, right?
-
> The Benbens look different, at least, right?
> Well... you can tell which one's the clone sort of easily, with how she's behaving most of the time. Otherwise, they're the same.
>_
-
> "It's funnier this way."
-
> "It's funnier this way."
> "F-Funnier..."
> "Well I guess it'd be a bit funny to suddenly be called older sister sometimes..." Yatsuhashi says.
>_
-
> Look over to Benben 2.
> "I think that's your cue."
-
> Look over to Benben 2.
> "I think that's your cue."
> "I'll do it when it's more surprising." Benben 2 speaks.
>_
-
> Purse our lips in thought for a couple of seconds, then nod.
> "Okay, granted."
-
> Purse our lips in thought for a couple of seconds, then nod.
> "Okay, granted."
> Benben 2 giggles.
>_
-
> "Anyway, we're getting off-track, I think."
-
> "Anyway, we're getting off-track, I think."
> "A bit, yes."
>_
-
> What major establishments in Gensokyo do we know how to find?
-
> What major establishments in Gensokyo do we know how to find?
> Quite a few. That temple, the Human Village, The Moriya Shrine, The lake and the mansion, the Netherworld...
>_
-
> "We should decide where we're going to go. The vampire mansion's probably out. I think everything else is probably fair game, though."
-
> "We should decide where we're going to go. The vampire mansion's probably out. I think everything else is probably fair game, though."
> "Are we gonna try to catch up to it and stop it from spreading out further, or just deal with what we can that's already changed?"
>_
-
> How fast was the magic moving? Could we even tell?
-
> How fast was the magic moving? Could we even tell?
> You weren't sure...
>_
-
> "How fast was it the first time around?"
-
> "How fast was it the first time around?"
> "Well, we don't know when you first expelled the mallet's magic..." Raiko says.
> "I don't think we'd be able to catch it..." Reimu says.
>_
-
> "Probably not at this point."
> Adopt a thoughtful expression, then look to Sanae.
> "Your shrine's up at the top of that mountain, right? Can you goddess-check to see if they've been hit?"
-
> "Probably not at this point."
> Adopt a thoughtful expression, then look to Sanae.
> "Your shrine's up at the top of that mountain, right? Can you goddess-check to see if they've been hit?"
> "Goddess check?" Sanae questions.
>_
-
> "Like, the thing where you summon them and they're instantly right in front of you. You did it earlier."
-
> "Like, the thing where you summon them and they're instantly right in front of you. You did it earlier."
> "Oh." Sanae nods, raising her gohei.
> The larger goddess appears.
> "Hm?" She questions, looking to Sanae.
>_
-
> Give the larger goddess a wave.
> "Heyo. This might sound really strange, but did you or anyone around your place suddenly start feeling really irritated for no reason?"
-
> Give the larger goddess a wave.
> "Heyo. This might sound really strange, but did you or anyone around your place suddenly start feeling really irritated for no reason?"
> "No, I don't believe so... Why do you ask?"
>_
-
> "There was an accident here that caused that feeling to some of us. It's probably spread out at least a fair bit, and we need to fix it."
-
> "There was an accident here that caused that feeling to some of us. It's probably spread out at least a fair bit, and we need to fix it."
> "Accident?" The goddess frowns a bit.
> "We're fixing it..." Sanae says.
>_
-
> "We already fixed it here and with Kazami. Dunno how far it's spread, though."
-
> "We already fixed it here and with Kazami. Dunno how far it's spread, though."
> "What exactly is spread?"
> "Something that'll be dealt with soon." Reimu says. "Is anyone at the mountain acting weirdly or not?"
> The goddess stares at Reimu.
> "I haven't noticed anything weird."
>_
-
> "Can you pop back in if you do notice something? Or does Sanae have to summon you each time?"
-
> "Can you pop back in if you do notice something? Or does Sanae have to summon you each time?"
> "If she notices anything, wouldn't it be too late to prevent it?" Kogasa asks.
>_
-
> "I'm not sure we *can* prevent it. But we can at least fix it after the fact."
-
> "I'm not sure we *can* prevent it. But we can at least fix it after the fact."
> "Oh. Okay then." Kanako says.
>_
-
> "So, as I asked before..."
-
> "So, as I asked before..."
> "I'd probably have Sanae call me."
>_
-
> "So you can contact her on a whim?"
-
> "So you can contact her on a whim?"
> Kanako shakes her head.
>_
-
> "Shoot. Well, I guess Sanae can just keep calling periodically, until something changes or we're confident there's no issue."
-
> "Shoot. Well, I guess Sanae can just keep calling periodically, until something changes or we're confident there's no issue."
> "Alright!" Sanae speaks.
>_
-
> "That's all I had to ask."
-
> "That's all I had to ask."
> "Oh."
>_
-
> "Yeah. So...like, if you wanted or needed to chat, or whatever, that's fine."
-
> "Yeah. So...like, if you wanted or needed to chat, or whatever, that's fine."
> "I'll be taking my leave then."
>_
-
> "See ya. And thanks again."
-
> "See ya. And thanks again."
> Kanako nods, vanishing.
> "So maybe it didn't reach there..." Sanae says.
>_
-
> How far away is that mountain from our current location?
-
> How far away is that mountain from our current location?
> It's far, further than most of the places you know, but you can still see it. Walking there would be a pain, and flying would still take you a while to even get to the base.
>_
-
> What do we know that's further away?
-
> What do we know that's further away?
> Sanae's shrine is on the mountain, so you're not sure if that counts. But otherwise, there's that Netherworld. The Shining Needle Castle is also near the mountain, but you aren't sure if it's further from here...
>_
-
> "That would be nice. One less thing to clean up."
-
> "That would be nice. One less thing to clean up."
> Sanae nods.
>_
-
> "That said, it's pretty far away. It doesn't give us too much to go on on how far this has spread."
-
> "That said, it's pretty far away. It doesn't give us too much to go on on how far this has spread."
> "Could you use the mallet to find out?" Raiko suggests.
>_
-
> ...Can we?
-
> ...Can we?
> Probably...
>_
-
> Adopt a thoughtful look.
> Make a wish on the mallet to determine how far spread the magical 'damage' we just caused is.
-
> Adopt a thoughtful look.
> Make a wish on the mallet to determine how far spread the magical 'damage' we just caused is.
> You utilize the mallet for a wish...
> It's spread out far enough to reach near the base of the mountain, and seems to still be spreading.
>_
-
> Frown.
> "Crap. It's at the foot of the mountain now. And it's still going."
-
> Frown.
> "Crap. It's at the foot of the mountain now. And it's still going."
> "Ooh."
> "Annoying that we can't split up and deal with this..." Raiko says.
> "But it's possible to stop it from progressing, at least... Probably." Benben says.
> "Do you just know how it's going at all times now?" Yatsuhashi asks.
>_
-
> "No, that was the work of the mallet. Hey, wait..."
> Try wishing on the mallet to stop the spread of the magic we let loose.
-
> "No, that was the work of the mallet. Hey, wait..."
> Try wishing on the mallet to stop the spread of the magic we let loose.
> You wish...
> A lot more magic is used than the previous wish, but that probably means it worked...
>_
-
> How much magic do we have left?
-
> How much magic do we have left?
> Still more than half.
>_
-
> "Well, it's stopped now, at least."
-
> "Well, it's stopped now, at least."
> "S-Stopped!?"
>_
-
> "Yeah. I tried stopping it with the mallet, and it worked. I think."
-
> "Yeah. I tried stopping it with the mallet, and it worked. I think."
> "Oh..."
> "That's great!"
>_

> "Yeah. It took a fair amount of magic, but I can probably get it all back."
-
> "Yeah. It took a fair amount of magic, but I can probably get it all back."
> "Don't cause what you did for this in the first place." Reimu says.
>_

> "That won't be a problem."
> "Hopefully..."
