Are you afraid of monsters?

If you have Half-Life 1 you owe it to yourself to at least try Afraid of Monsters. It's a nice horror mod and one of the better single-player campaign mods out there:

I recently tried to get some of my Teamspeak buddies to play Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut and they quit or chickened out really early.
It's scary but honestly I don't think it's quite that scary, but maybe I have a biased view on this.

Also, there's the upcoming HL1 mod from the same developer, Cry of Fear, which is almost complete and has the best visuals I've ever seen in Half-Life 1 engine:

Oh yeah, I played Afraid of Monsters. (I'm in the "wasn't that scary" crowd.) I'll probably have to check out "Cry of Fear."
