>"Bye Mayina."
>"So, what's so bad about Gensokyo. The mere mention of it caused some pretty interesting reactions from what I saw."

> "The daemon ignores you. He also ignores Donitia swearing loudly at him and pulling faces.

> Once you are outside, you ask Louise about Gensokyo and the 'paygrade'. Louise looks around, and signals to enter an allyway before she answers, quietly.

> "It's all connected to that sealed cave. Makai and Gensokyo were basically at war not long ago. A group of powerful invaders even challenged Lady Shinki. Ever since, there's been a barrier in place between the two realms, and no-one's supposed to cross over as per a treaty. It's why I crossed over. To investigate and find proof. And besides... I have a loophole I can exploit. Regardless, anything concerning the Makai-Gensokyo border is the business of the Divine Guard themselves."

> "If you suddenly learn how to read Makaian Runes..." Louise replies to the bandit question.

> "You're here as witnesses, being escorted by me." Louise states.  "And we came right to the authority we needed to to make them aware."

> "Perhaps after we've taken care of the job we need to do first." Louise answers.

> She starts walking, not flying, towards a large gate guarded by two strong-looking humanoids. They're wearing rather simple dresses, one predominantly blue with purple hair, and the other red with pink hair.

> The pink-haired one seems to recognize Louise; judgeing by the fact she says "Hey, Louise!" and waves.

> "So you're on duty at this gate today Sara?" Louise responds.

> "It's the gate to the Frozen Fields. Anyone who isn't part of the Divine Guard who enters any other way is considered a hostile and attacked by the Guard." Louise says. "You do not want to get into a fight with a Guard. That Yumeko person I mentioned before is their leader, and she is horrifyingly powerful. She's specially trained to be a Mage-Hunter and Daemon-Slayer. The two main species in Makai. Fighting her in particular wouldn't be a fight. It would be a slaughter."

> "So, those two are those outsiders from Gensokyo? They don't seem anywhere near as scary as those four." Sara comments.

I guess there was a turtle too but he was just a mount. I got promoted for that so it wasn't all bad. Since I managed to stay at my post and not flee despite being completely overwhelmed."

> Louise looks a little uncomfortable when asked this. "I... was." she answers quietly. "My situation is... complicated."

> "Don't you know it's rude to whisper when I'm right here?" Sara says in an irritated tone.

> She's here, looking around inquisitively, and oddly enough, quietly. Kogasa seems a lot happier here, and seemingly is attempting to blend in with the ice.

> For a moment, just a moment, you feel an incredible magical power ahead. But it's not intimidating. It's like a signal, a flare attracting you in. And yet despite that the energy is strong enough for you to physically feel it.

> You float above the ground. You still feel the cold somewhat as the air is also cold, but at least you're not freezeing your feet.

> "That was an invitation." Louise says. She looks a little nervous.

> "That was an invitation?" Kogasa asks, in an apprehensive tone.

> "Well; if we were not serious we'd turn and flee." Louise states. "This is the place in Makai nearest Pandemonium. Everyone who operates here could probobly kill any of us effortlessly if we were found to be lying, or the matter frivolous."

> Louise starts to advance towards the source of the brief magical pulse.

> When you reach this point, you see an unsettleingly familiar figure sitting on what looks like a frozen wave. A small ember is dancing between her fidgeting fingers.
