I'm wondering if 8/8 Melee/Ranged is high enough considering how I gimped my own HP and defence.
Well, it'll be amusing to see my character kill itself if it's not using cautious strike.

Maybe but to be safe i'll stick you at far range unless you want otherwise.

Also do you guys want me to edit the characters ingame. It has almost every touhou from 5-12 and Hatate, three fairies, and Akyuu

I thought it wouldn't since the images have to be 90x90 but I can change it.

Glass cannon Akyuu. Im gonna add Myouren crew to Human Village and i'll possibly create TD crew just to have everyone

I can help with the stats friend.

LV - Self-explanatory, this is what your level is. Base your HP totals around this.
HP - Another self-explanatory stat, if this drops to 0, you're down for the count.
MEL - Short for Melee, this stat influences how much damage you do at Close Range.
RNG - Short for Range, this stat influences how much damage you do from medium-long ranges.
DEF - Short for Defense, this stat influences how much damage you take from Close Range attacks.
WIS - Short for Wisdom(Willpower?), this stat influences how much damage you take from Ranged Attacks.
SPD - Short for Speed, this stat dictates how soon your turn comes around.
RES - Short for Research, this stat dictates how effective you are at developing territories.
NEG - Short for Negotiation, this stat dictates how effective you are at persuading captured enemies to join your team.
Cost - Self-explanatory, though I don't quite know what this does. :getdown:

As I recall, there's a daily cost for each unit in your army. How is it self-explanatory if you don't know what it does? :V

IIRC, you have a certain cost cap. The 5 units you send into battle cannot exceed that cap.
Of course it's been years since I've played this game and I could be horribly wrong.

After playing this for 2 days editing stats I think I can explain this. Ryumaku is based by how many territories you have. Like say you have 6 units who have a cost of 4 and you have 3 territories who have 3 ryumaku. So it would be 24/9. Now you have something called Ouki. So because we have 24/9 instead of gaining ouki we would lose ouki not gain. So to prevent this we have to develop our territories using our Unit's Res stat.

Neg is an important stat in Story mode but, this is national mode so no. When ever we choose to attack someone we have to send units(of course) there is a value of Neg. Like we need 24 Neg to go into battle. So we pick 6 units who can fill that requirement.

But anyhow, since I have 10 NEG, that means that I'm a good pick for kicking off fights I guess.

One of the few humans who doesn't live within the safety of the human village, he apparently lives somewhere on the edge of Gensokyo but nobody's sure where exactly.  Generally keeps to himself and only comes into town to do shopping.  Often mistaken for a girl due to really long hair and gentle speech.  Joined the Human Village faction mostly by the coincidence of being there when it started, but has decided to see it through, if not solely to see Gensokyo's best by being at the most strategically contested location.


(As a note, be sure to double check costs.  Especially if you plan to add several units to the Human Village - that place only offers a small amount of Ryumaku and will quickly find itself completely out of funds if units are piled on in an attempt to give it a chance)

No, like let's say everyone votes to control the Hakurei team. At the beginning of a turn you guys would tell me what to do like attack the Human Village and then I would do that ingame. The Motk characters are just a bonus. Does that make sense?
