I got a question about the shot data.

Is there a way to change this shot picture example

From

into

???

This would help a lot on making shot variation. : p

What exactly are you trying to do? If you're talking about removing a black background from an existing image, that's probably overly difficult, especially if the original bullet graphic had an alpha value under 255.

Yea, kinda sucks that the original bullet shot (without background) that has different set of opacity is flatten with a background. I kinda wish they make the file separate. : p

Hmm, I guess one way to use this bullet at full extend is by breaking into the game data and see how it crops the bullet out of the spread sheet to use it on different background. .-.

I don't know what you're talking about, but if you just want to remove the black background I recommend using pixlr.com. Use the star wand tool thing, and make sure you unlock the layer. Save as png.

Unfortunately that wouldn't save the opacity setting of the original bullet.

Open the image in GIMP. In the colors tab at the top, there is a "Color to Alpha..." option. Click it and set the alpha color to black.

I was being a bit skeptical about this, but I tried it, and wow, it works. For some reason, GIMP is able to do what photoshop and imagemagick can't do. Demn.  :V

Thanks, man. Cheers.
