I clicked on the thread by reflex when I saw "Sakura Taisen" and then remembered that this game is in English now too. How bad is the time investment, though? Is it about average for mobile games where you blow a bunch of stamina for about a total of one hour a day in a few bursts?

That's a little tough to answer. While early game may seem like that once you get a few ranks, AP restoration items are farmable. This means you can potentially grind once you have a decent stockpile of 1/2 Elixirs, recommended for some events especially Guild Wars. Add to the fact that you can restore AP and BP once per day by advertising to Twitter, you tend to not really be hard up for AP and start pacing yourself more.

AP restores at 1 per 5 minutes. BP/EP restores at 1 per 20 min and is used to join in other people's raids.

AP aside, there is a reason why some people call this Grindblue Fantasy. It's mainly because you're grinding towards endgame builds like you would in any MMO.

Almost fully uncapped Erica right when I got her, too bad I'm short one rainbow prism. I needed a healer and most of my equipment is light anyways so this is perfect for me.
Getting into a mech during their CA is hilarious because I get to watch two death animations.

I actually like GBF better than FFRK mainly because I feel like there's more character variety in terms of party builds and skills. Music and core gameplay mechanics are good too.

Just a shame it is the bane we call mobage.

If playing on a computer, you could!  Go to the song you wanna listen to on Youtube(if that's where you looked it up), type "repeat" after "youtube" in the URL, thne turn off the sound on the actual app.

Instant looping BGM of your choice no matter what!

That hasn?t been forgotten. Apparently it?s something HRT and FKHR have been talking about a lot recently. It?s going to be a progressive thing and HRT wants it to be implemented before the anime airs (whenever that is).

It's a world raid, so we won't have to.

Buffs, heals, damage cuts, etc, are always useful. Just communicate. (Btw, I need more GBF people in palringo.)

I'm not a fan of another version of Line that has low functionality and does not really offer much benefit over any other messaging system.

I understand. It's just that's where the main guild is. Though I'll see if I can convince the people who joined GBF there to use Line instead. I suspect we use the place because of the imagebot that provides some hilarity to the chat among other things.

I realize it's a hassle which is why I'm not making it mandatory, so don't if that's still the feeling.

Nah. Luck doesn't drain from event gacha. It does for legend draws though.
