Alright, so E-4 isn't as bad thanks to the FCF, but even then as long as I keep Node I locked down via a land airbase and Node K gives me some good RNG with my night battle equipment I'm usually able to get to the boss more-or-less intact. That said, support expeditions help immensely and the boss debuff helps quite a bit as well.

What's your setup?

I went with 3 FBB, 1 CV, 2 CAV + 1 CL, 1 FBB, 2 DD, 2 CA. The final 2 air raid nodes taiha me most of the time and if they don't then I don't get AS at the boss node. Circumstances prevent me from playing for 3 days, but maybe if I had tried loading Kaga up with Reppuu the problem could've been fixed.

I went with 2BB, 1CV, 3CV(B) + 1 CL, 1CL(T), 1CA, 3DD

I loaded up my Kaga with fighters and a Saiun to prevent getting a red T-Cross and my armoured carriers each took up two fighters plus some torpedo and dive bombers each for damage. With that, I loaded up Verniy for a torpedo cut-in plus a searchlight, Abukuma and Kitakami each got a Kyohyoteki (though Kitakami was loaded up for a torpedo cut-in as well), and I had Akizuki and Hatsuzuki running anti-air along with Maya, though I switched out one of Akizuki's radars for star shells. I also had Abukuma hold the night recon plane as well just in case.

Amusingly enough, my final sortie allowed me to S-rank every single node we passed and we managed to shoot down every single one of the Wo-class's planes at both air raid nodes and the boss node, rendering her completely useless. I also had two air bases worth of long distance bombers (with one large flying boat each) head for the boss node while one air base consisting of torpedo bombers and dive bombers hit Node I for me and I used two fully sparkled support expeditions to further damage whatever I could.

Nothing notable happened in E-2 Normal. I used Abukuma, Mizuho, Akizuki, Kasumi, Kisaragi, and Kitakami which gives me 3 (!) opening torpedo shots on top of Mizuho's air phase. I brought in boss support for last dance which helped because I got Red-T'd.

Finally getting runs where I can S-rank the E-4 boss node.

Loading Kaga with Reppuu and a Saiun, Echelon Formation for the BB hime night node, PBY-5A Catalina for one of my LBAS. These were together the solution.

I'll probably need the armor debuff for last dance though.

I'm hearing a lot of reports of people doing 100 runs and not getting Prinz. A comment I read on a youtube video said it took him 300 runs on Easy.

I think I might be 100 runs into it, so tonight if I don't get Prinz Imma switch over to finding Nimu tomorrow I'm getting sick of the ridiculous drop rate and the formation only drop for easy seriously uncool.

Sorry for being massively occupied as of late, but I've been working on the contents from today's update long story short, we had an update yesterday which gave us some fun things to do. So let's give you the run down on what's up!

September 16th, 2016 Brand New KanMusu Addition

1. New Special Type Destroyer Uranami

A new Special-Type Destroyer (Fubuki/Ayanami Class destroyer) will be available as a drop in the regular maps.
Idle, resupply will change upon kai and will have time notifications upon Kai

2. Uranami's drop locations

Uranami can be found within locations as early as the seas outside of Okishima in the Nansei Islands (2-4).

Note: her drop rare is rare on the preboss nodes of the map and she may be more easier to encounter in the boss nodes and in later sections of the map
She can be additionally found in the Western, Southern and Central Waters Areas.

3. New Quests

A new series of quest have been implemented which include:
Forming the 19th Destroyer Division
Sortie the 19th Destroyer Division
19th Destroyer Division, engage the enemy flagship!
Production of Custom Furniture
Production of Maritime Resupplies

4. Yukata Mode

Yuugumo-Class DD Naganami gets Yukata Mode CG for the fall along wirh new voices lines
Nagato-Class BB Mutsu has been given Yukata mode CG.
Akashi Improvement Arsenal Update
Akashi can now upgrade Warspite's 38.1cm Mk.1 Twin Gun Mount with the assistance of the British Battleship kanmusu.

5. UI fixes
Text in quest section has been adjusted so that it'll change when notifications such as the "50% marker" are on display.

6. Seasonal Furniture Changes
Cypress Bath and Spring Rock Bath have recived graphical changes for the fall season.

7. Security and small fixes
Security has been improved to better detect use of macros and bots.
I-26 Voice line for her 20:00 time notification has been fixed.

8. Shortland Server Expansion

Shortland is currently begin to have a server expansion which is being planned to be completed in time for the Naval Base Saury Festival.

So yeah, this update while small, does have some stuff to do and as noted... next month will be the Naval Base Saury Festival!

I hope your ships are prepared enough to help with fishing.

Finally the new Fubuki-Class Destroyer Uranami

Uranami is rather basic and quite similar to most of the Fubuki-class with the exception that she has decent AA-stats (but nothing that outshine's Fubuki's Kai Ni) outside of that she doesn't have anything different from the rest of the Fubuki-class members.

She can be found in 2-4 in mutiple nodes, and 4-1,5-1, and 6-2 boss nodes.

Also she's a requirement for the new quests since they tie in with the 19th destroyer division.

5-1 is utter hell right now. I absolutely despise the quest involving an all cruiser fleet. I can barely get passed the first node without someone getting shot to hell, though the shelling support helps a little bit.
