I've been looking for ages trying to find the earliest demo version of PCB so I can see these spell cards, but I haven't had any luck.

Does anyone here know where to find it? (It's okay to ask for demos of Touhou games, right?)

Yes, of course it's ok. I don't know where to find them, but did you try ZUN's blog? Use Google translate and look for it there.
