Title: Nice Boat?

Ok as I begin to watch more Touhou related videos/Flashes I have seen the words nice Boat pop up occasionally usually with a picture of a cruise ship in a river. Could anyone shed some light on why this is?

In short: A violent incident happened, were the anime company don't want people to relate it to their VERY violent anime School Day, so they replace the op with a nice boat thing and it become a meme.

The Nice Boat meme is notable in that it was created in 4chan and adopted wholesale by 2chan. 

It's so much fun to troll the ANN forums whenever School Days comes up, just say "Nice boat came from 4chan" and watch the neckbeards say "NO THAT IS NOT TRUE SIR, you are mistaken, indeed it came from Ni Channeru, or Futaba Channel for the romanji-inclined."

Apparently touhou in itself is a meme all it's own.
That site needs work to say the least before it can become all about memes.

I only asked here because I hadn't seen it before. And the few times I did it was always in somthing Touhou related.

not really because there are no VERY LARGE REPTILIAN CREATURES yet
