Laharl impression as in manic grin, arms folded and really annoying laugh?

Also, did Fightest warn us? I thought he said to just charge in, with the indestructable fairies and all.

> Anyway, keep searching for that contract item, and often take a peek at the main fight to see if there is an opening in Meira's defenses.

Also, we need a badass battle theme for during this fight. Any suggestions?

> Well, He did, guess he rethought it though. And of course.

You keep turning the shrine inside out for the contract item, But you don't find it. You suppose it probably is on her person.

You turn back to the battle.

Turns out Demon wasn't kidding about that thing not being stoppable, Even Suika can't keep it at bay. She does however, manage to keep it focused on her. This has allowed Wriggle to get up on the Hydra thing's back. She currently seems to be going at it with Meira. You have to guess she has some kind of protection on her feet, because shes kicking Meira's sword to block.

Cirno is still trying to beat the thing up. You kind of should have expected she'd do this.

I see what you did there. Also, Wriggle Kick FTW. Hooray for badass Wriggle!

Found a badass background theme fitting for the fight BTW (atleasty, I hope it fits, I'm imagining it pretty dynamically).

You try and get Cirno to aim at Meira. "Eh? But this giant thing still needs freezing! That'll just end it prematurely!"

You're pretty sure Suika is trying to grab the thing already, but shes having some obvious troubles. Shes doing good keeping it at bay for now, though...

I have the sudden urge to smack Cirno....

> Let the bugs (who are physically stronger than fairies) help Suika fend off the beast, and the fairies (who are better at magic) aim their fire at Meira from all angles. She can't a block a barage of attacks from 360 degrees around her right? And even if she does, she'd probably get kicked in the gut by Wriggle if she concentrated on that.

> Encourage Suika.

You suppose she is definitely out of the shrine now. You just need to keep her out.

Cirno finally relents. "Well, I suppose having the strongest and Suika on it is just plain mean. Alright, time to put a cow on ice!" She shifts her attention to Meira, and with a warning, chucks a huge piece of ice right at her. Wriggle gets away, of course, and Meira just cuts it.

That however, Does keep her from noticing all the fairies approaching her. And you thought Cirno didn't get basic tactics. She flails and try to beat away the fairies.

> Let the bugs (who are physically stronger than fairies) help Suika fend off the beast, and the fairies (who are better at magic) aim their fire at Meira from all angles. The fairies go away with Ease, but the distraction remains long enough for Wriggle to get a kick in for her face and get away, as the fairies form a hemisphere and open fire with whatever they can. You get on THE ROC and time it right to have him dig straight into her back. Payback is a bitch, eh?

Suika keeps on holding off the thing, while the bugs try to find a way to help her out. They also search the shrine, though you already did.

>Are Kitty senses suffcient for determining what kind of object has a contract placed on it, given having experience with one? If so, get close to Meira and find it. She can't pay attention to too many things at once without getting screwed over.

Being sufficient in Familiar use allows you to determine if an object has a contract. And on THE ROC's back, you can sense it.

It figures, it IS her sword. You really have to wonder why you would ever choose such a poor item.

You ask the suplexing god hawk if he could grab a sword.

What are you thinking. Of course he can.

> What's wrong with letting her know we've figured it out? She'll get desperate, and desperate people make fatal mistakes.

You shout to everyone to get that damn sword. She looks confused for a second, and then the fairies attack.

The sight is grizzly, you settle for watching the Claws of THE ROC grab the sword and swee-

And get shocked by some kind of odd discharge. Whatever that was, It unsummoned him instantly. You fall onto the back of the thing.

You can't say you could have been expecting that. Meira manages to knock the fairies away.

>If she feels threatened. Might just inspire her to stop holding out on a trick. And if she does get desperate, there's less chance of the optimal mistake of an opening to disarm.

She certainly seems confused rather than annoyed. Maybe she doesn't get it.

>Try to get onto stable ground, whilst profaning.

You pull yourself together on the back. Both Wriggle and Meira say the same thing.

"Are those even swears?"

They then turn to each other and start fighting again.

> Hmm, worth a try...
> If this voice recall correctly, us, Meira and Wriggle are on the back of the thing, correct?
> Next time Meira swings at Wriggle with a downward swing, use KITTY PARKOUR to jump on the back or flat of her blade, attempt to use our weight to drive it down into the back of the thing.

You're pretty sure that is right, yes.

You back away and wait for a good swing. Once she swings down, you use a bit of BLACK MAGIC to flip perfectly onto her blade and push it straight down. You don't feel it enter anything, despite clearly doing so, and jump back off the blade. Wriggle kicks her clear away from the sword.

> Let Wriggle close in again and start kicking. Let the fairies regroup and start using small fire on her. While she's busy with that, CUT OF HER FREAKING SWORD ARM!

You settle for the next best thing.

You swing the Odd-Sword at the 'stuck' sword. It should go flying.

Instead, You end up breaking it.

There is a brief moment of silence before an explosion of colored air.

You can't see anything, but you're pretty sure you're falling, so the thing is likely gone.

You're sure its a given Cats fall on their feet, why would this even be a power?

You feel the strange odd to rename the sword to Nyamune. So you do.

You attempt to land on Meira! Unfortunately, you just land on a Giant Suika foot. Nice view of her flying away though.

You manage to get out that you should probably try to catch her before she makes more trouble. Wriggle nods to the bug troops, and they all fly off after her.

You don't think she'll be much more trouble. Hopefully.

You make a note for Wriggle to send some land spiders or related after her as well. Suika finally shrinks back to normal size, and Cirno stretches.

"Well! That was easy, Unstoppable god lizard thing my ass! We whooped it good!"

"I still wouldn't say that, you were having trouble, right, Suika?" "Admittedly, Aye, that thing is a right bit nasty... Doesn't help its practically intangible."

Given that...thing, wasn't even like it was there, it turns out nothing bad occured to the shrine. Suika did stomp the area around it up right nicely though.

You call back THE ROC. He appears to be slightly dazed, but uninjured.

"Pretty sure you broke it, Chen."

"Yeah, Not only that, You managed to take out that huge thing along with it, So that makes it probably the contract item. Is the contract- Or well, Mess of a contract, still on the item?... Its...smoking or something."
