> You are Seija Kijin, Counterattacking Amanojaku.
> You are ambitious in overturning society, and such has granted you many enemies in your pursuit of it. However, you've started to build up allies (and a large amount of fairies) in favor of this, and have started to take things in a better way than previously. With a few new cheat items and new abilities of your own, you're ready to aid the lesser residents of Gensokyo much more properly than before. This time, no one's here to stop you...
Recap of the previous (https://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,21041.0.html): Day/Night 1: After gathering yourself following the accidental destruction of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, you and Shinmyoumaru enhanced your appearances through the mallet and your magic some, after all, you'd like a better appearance for a better operation.
Day 2: On the second and current day, Shinmyoumaru reminded you of your two most recent cheat items, one capable of developing people's abilities, and another you'd have to investigate further. Using the former on yourself has netted you more magic to perform your ability on things, and a new usage of your magic; Creating a Contrasting Existence. With this new ability, you first tested and successfully created a double of Reimu Hakurei whom is specifically supportive of your cause. A second use has gained you another Raiko Horikawa whom specifically acknowledges you as her mother. You didn't consider much that wouldn't turn the second Raiko against your group, so it was the best action then. After transferring the two to your base, Gasanae met up with her goddesses and confirmed that they would not be against your group. With enemies settled for the moment, you could focus on some more internal problems. One such being Reimu 2, who, as she was in her sleepwear when you doubled her, has been forced to borrow Sanae's outfit and requests food and clothing. After speaking with and convincing Wakasagihime and Kagerou (two youkai affected by your previous failure) to visit your base, you headed to the village with the Tsukumo sisters and Shinmyoumaru, fusing both of you with one sister each in order to better disguise yourself. There, you visited and purchased from a bookstore, gaining a slight ally in the form the store's worker, Kosuzu. This gained you eyes within the Village and a book containing basic information on various youkai and creatures. You then encountered the Rokurokubi from your previous rebellion, and are trying to convince her to join your cause.
Faction Status: A command must be input in order to review your most recent faction status. Overall, things are pretty Good and your group is mostly happy.
> "You can ask, and we'll be glad to introduce ourselves in a moment, but we have a couple of secret weapons we don't want to just advertise in the village, you know? We're trying to get the mermaid and the loup-garou involved, though, at least. D'you know them?"
> "Yea. They're sort of friends..."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "They'll most likely be visiting our place later. I imagine all three of you would feel more at ease with each other around."
> Smile a bit.
> "But that might be getting ahead of ourselves, yeah?"
> Bow slightly.
> "I am Yatsuhashi Tsukumo, a koto tsukumogami."
> Gesture to Princess Benben.
> "And this is my older sister."
-
> "Benben Tsukumo. Biwa Tsukumogami." She bows.
> "...My name is Sekibanki." The Rokurokubi says.
>_
-
> "A pleasure, Sekibanki."
-
> "A pleasure, Sekibanki."
> "I'll... check it out if the others are..." Sekibanki says. "No promises though."
>_
-
> "Of course. I can't exactly ask for a full commitment when you haven't seen or heard a whole lot for yourself, can I?"
-
> "Of course. I can't exactly ask for a full commitment when you haven't seen or heard a whole lot for yourself, can I?"
> Sekibanki nods.
>_
-
> "Anyway, they're dropping by later, like I said. Maybe you could coordinate a visit with them?"
-
> "Anyway, they're dropping by later, like I said. Maybe you could coordinate a visit with them?"
> "Maybe..."
>_
-
> "Just something to consider. If you do end up going on your own, though..."
> Give Sekibanki directions to our house from our current location.
-
> "Just something to consider. If you do end up going on your own, though..."
> Give Sekibanki directions to our house from our current location.
> You tell Sekibanki how to get to your house.
> "Thanks."
>_
-
> "No problem. In that case, do you have any other questions for us? Or should we split here?"
-
> "No problem. In that case, do you have any other questions for us? Or should we split here?"
> "Where are you going next? You said you were looking for me. Does that mean you're looking for others too?"
>_
-
> "We were looking for the most notable people that got caught up in the rebellion last time, which were you and your two friends-ish. We don't really have anyone else in mind right now, but today's been pretty successful in the recruiting and potential recruiting areas, and I'm sure we can figure out who else we can try to enlist."
> Grin a bit.
> "As for where we're going, we need new clothes for one of our newest allies. It would be bad if she were seen and recognized before we want her to be..."
-
> "We were looking for the most notable people that got caught up in the rebellion last time, which were you and your two friends-ish. > Grin a bit.
> "As for where we're going, we need new clothes for one of our newest allies. It would be bad if she were seen and recognized before we want her to be..."
> "Hm. Well, as I said, that's next door." Sekibanki nods.
>_
-
> "Right. Anything else before we leave?"
-
> "Right. Anything else before we leave?"
> Sekibanki shakes her head.
>_
-
> "All right. See you later, Sekibanki. Take care."
> Head out of Banki's house and into the clothing shop next door.
-
> "All right. See you later, Sekibanki. Take care."
> Head out of Banki's house and into the clothing shop next door.
> You head out and into the nearby shop.
> "Welc-." The person behind the counter pauses. W-Welcome." They continue.
>_
-
> Examine the person.
-
> Examine the person.
> It seems to be a girl with a white hat and a matching dress to go along with it. Her hair is blonde.
> She examines you in turn...
>_
-
> Nod slightly.
> "Good day. I hope we're not intruding?"
-
> It seems to be a girl with a white hat and a matching dress to go along with it. Her hair is blonde.
> She examines you in turn...
>_
> Louise, is that you?
> Elucidate on the details of this girl.
-
> Nod slightly.
> "Good day. I hope we're not intruding?"
> Louise, is that you?
> Elucidate on the details of this girl.
> The girl's hair is short, not passing her shoulders. Her hat seems a bit like a sun hat. She's behind a counter.
> "No." She shakes her head. "Good day."
>_
-
> "All right."
> Have a look at the clothing warez. Keep in mind Reimu's body shape as we do, since we're shopping for her.
-
> "All right."
> Have a look at the clothing warez. Keep in mind Reimu's body shape as we do, since we're shopping for her.
//So many 6's in that message quote >:D
> You glance around...
> There's some pretty basic clothing. A couple of outlandish outliers, and...
> You consider leaving, given this store somehow has not just Reimu's and Shinmyoumaru's outfits displayed, but your outfit as well. To scale...
> "If you want we could make an outfit for you!" The worker interjects. "I-I can make an outfit for you. Or your companion. Something for her too, I mean, not make her make something for herself..."
>_
-
> "Uh..."
> 'Ours' as in us being Seija? Or Yatsu's?
>> If it's a Seija outfit, glance around for a Yatsuhashi outfit.
-
> "Uh..."
> 'Ours' as in us being Seija? Or Yatsu's?
>> If it's a Seija outfit, glance around for a Yatsuhashi outfit.
> Seija.
> You glance around...
> No, there doesn't seem to be Yatsuhashi's outfit.
>_
-
> How large is the Shinmyoumaru outfit in the store?
-
> What about Reimu's?
> Can we catch a glimpse of something indicating how much it costs?
-
> How large is the Shinmyoumaru outfit in the store?
> It's tiny. Shinmyoumaru's size.
> What about Reimu's?
> Can we catch a glimpse of something indicating how much it costs?
> It seems like it'd fit Reimu, you think.
> There seem to be price tags...
>_
-
> Adopt a slightly confused look, then point at the Shinmyoumaru outfit for sale.
> "Sister, look."
-
> Adopt a slightly confused look, then point at the Shinmyoumaru outfit for sale.
> "Sister, look."
> "Hm?" She looks to where you point. "Oh! They've got an outfit that fits-... Looks like it'd fit a doll well. How cute♥"
>_
-
> Look back to the unknown girl.
> "Out of curiosity, where did this doll outfit come from? Did you make it for someone?"
-
> Look back to the unknown girl.
> "Out of curiosity, where did this doll outfit come from? Did you make it for someone?"
> "Y-Yea..." The girl looks back. "I just made it because... I felt the design was something nice."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "It does look very nice, yeah. But it's weird...I feel like I've seen it before somewhere else."
-
> Nod.
> "It does look very nice, yeah. But it's weird...I feel like I've seen it before somewhere else."
> "Yea?" The girl questions.
>_
-
> "Yeah."
> Point at our (Seija) outfit for sale.
> "That one, too."
-
> "Yeah."
> Point at our (Seija) outfit for sale.
> "That one, too."
> "How so?"
>_
-
> "I'm just...pretty sure I've seen them before."
> Point at the Reimu outfit.
> "And I've definitely seen that one before. I think everyone's seen Reimu's outfit."
-
> "I'm just...pretty sure I've seen them before."
> Point at the Reimu outfit.
> "And I've definitely seen that one before. I think everyone's seen Reimu's outfit."
> "I wanted to try making it, since she's so iconic..."
>_
-
> "Huh..."
> Look around for other sets of clothes that we recognize.
-
> "Huh..."
> Look around for other sets of clothes that we recognize.
> You look around the room.
> ...
> There don't seem to be any more you recognize.
>_
-
> Not even Sanae's? Weird...
-
> Not even Sanae's? Weird...
> Not even Sanae's/Kogasa's/Gasanae's.

> How do we (Seija) compare in size and shape to Reimu when we're completely unaltered?
-
> How do we (Seija) compare in size and shape to Reimu when we're completely unaltered?
> You're of similar size to her, you think. You haven't checked taller or shorter yet.
>_
-
> And we (Seija) are taller than unenhanced Yatsuhashi, yes? What about Yatsuhashi in her current form?
-
> And we (Seija) are taller than unenhanced Yatsuhashi, yes? What about Yatsuhashi in her current form?
> Yes.
> No.
>_
-
> So Yatsuhashi in her current form is comparable to Reimu in body size and shape?
-
> So Yatsuhashi in her current form is comparable to Reimu in body size and shape?
> Not more than you are normally, given certain enhancements...
>_
-
> Look back to the girl.
> "So how fast could you make something?"
-
> Look back to the girl.
> "So how fast could you make something?"
> "Depends..."
>_
-
> "On what?"
-
> "On what?"
> "Well, a few things. Like, how detailed it should be and all..."
>_
-
> "How about something basic and casual in my size? It doesn't have to be very fancy."
-
> "How about something basic and casual in my size? It doesn't have to be very fancy."
> "I should be able to make that... But making an outfit's not something you come in first time and ask for. Is it? ...No" She shakes her head.
>_
-
> "Is there anything like that here that's already made, then?"
-
> "Is there anything like that here that's already made, then?"
> The girl nods.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "I suppose it'd be better to have a look through what's already here, then."
> Have a look through the clothing racks for stuff that would fit Yatsuhashi as she is now.
-
> Nod.
> "I suppose it'd be better to have a look through what's already here, then."
> Have a look through the clothing racks for stuff that would fit Yatsuhashi as she is now.
> You start to browse...
> ...
> ...
> There's a few in-season outfits as well as ones that would still fit her in warmer temperatures.
>_
-
> We don't want to commit to anything long-term yet. Check the prices of just the seasonal outfits.
-
> We don't want to commit to anything long-term yet. Check the prices of just the seasonal outfits.
> You check...
> They're pretty low in the 20's and 30's...
>_
-
> Grab a couple of the 30s that seem like they would look good on Reimu.
-
> Grab a couple of the 30s that seem like they would look good on Reimu.
> You grab the pricier ones in consideration of something fine for Reimu, hopefully...
> A soft red coat with a scarf and mittens, along with another similar coat.
> A kimono.
> And a sweater also featuring a long skirt.
>_
-
> Put the coats back, but keep the kimono and sweater/skirt combo.
> "These look good to me, I think."
-
> Put the coats back, but keep the kimono and sweater/skirt combo.
> "These look good to me, I think."
> You put the coats back.
> Princess Benben nods.
> "You'll look nice in them." She says.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Thanks. I think so too."
> Look back at the Seija dress. How much is it?
-
> Nod.
> "Thanks. I think so too."
> Look back at the Seija dress. How much is it?
> "I wonder if I should try and choose something..."
> Just $20.
>_
-
> "That shouldn't be a problem, sister. Hmm..."
> Grab the Seija dress as well.
> "I might as well go with this too. It's rather novel, if nothing else."
-
> "That shouldn't be a problem, sister. Hmm..."
> Grab the Seija dress as well.
> "I might as well go with this too. It's rather novel, if nothing else."
> You take the Seija dress.
> A total of $84 so far...
>_
-
> How much did we have on-hand again?
> "Do you see anything you like?"
-
> How much did we have on-hand again?
> "Do you see anything you like?"
> $380.
> Princess Benben is browsing, examining the feel of some of the outfits.
>_
-
> How much are the Shinmyoumaru clothes?
-
> How much are the Shinmyoumaru clothes?
> $33.
>_
-
> $13 more than ours despite being like a quarter of the fabric? Grrr...whatever.
> Watch Princess Benben to see what decision she makes.
-
> $13 more than ours despite being like a quarter of the fabric? Grrr...whatever.
> Watch Princess Benben to see what decision she makes.
> You wonder what's going on with this person...
> "I could use the mallet for something like this..." Princess Benben murmurs as she examines a long, detailed Kimono. The price reads $140.
>_
-
> "Ah, you have quite the eye for fanciness, sister. Perhaps we should have brought more money with us?"
-
> "Ah, you have quite the eye for fanciness, sister. Perhaps we should have brought more money with us?"
> "Sorry." Princess Benben turns. "I mean, it's really lovely..."
> You nod in agreement.
>_
-
> "It most certainly is. And it's not as though we couldn't come back later for other things with more money, if you really want it."
-
> "It most certainly is. And it's not as though we couldn't come back later for other things with more money, if you really want it."
> The princess nods.
>_
-
> Heft what we have.
> "I think this is enough for me. So it's up to you."
-
> Heft what we have.
> "I think this is enough for me. So it's up to you."
> "Uhh... I'll pass for now." Princess Benben heads to you, before turning for a moment. "Next time..."
>_
-
> Would the kimono fit Benben in her normal state?
> "You sure? It's not like we're hurting for money, you know."
-
> Would the kimono fit Benben in her normal state?
> "You sure? It's not like we're hurting for money, you know."
> Yes.
> "It's fine."
>_
-
> "...Really? Well, all right..."
-
> "...Really? Well, all right..."
> "You're buying the small outfit?" The counter girl looks a bit upset.
>_
-
> Hey, WE'RE the Counter Girl!
> Look to the store worker.
> "Ah, no, I don't think so. Maybe some other time, if we find a use for it, though."
-
> Hey, WE'RE the Counter Girl!
> Look to the store worker.
> "Ah, no, I don't think so. Maybe some other time, if we find a use for it, though."
> That may be what she's upset over.
> As you are not buying the outfit, you prove yourself wrong. The ultimate counterattack.
> "Oh. Okay." She nods.
>_
-
> Look back to Princess Benben, then back to the $140 kimono, then frown a bit in thought.
> Pause in silence for a few seconds, then make our way over to the kimono and gently take it off the rack.
-
> Look back to Princess Benben, then back to the $140 kimono, then frown a bit in thought.
> Pause in silence for a few seconds, then make our way over to the kimono and gently take it off the rack.
> You consider...
> And head over to it, taking it in your hands.
> It does feel nice...
>_
-
> Nod resolutely.
> "Very well. If you do not wish to spend your money on this, sister, then I certainly cannot make you. But I certainly can spend my own money on it, and then do with it what I see fit. Be that gifting it to someone or otherwise."
-
> Nod resolutely.
> "Very well. If you do not wish to spend your money on this, sister, then I certainly cannot make you. But I certainly can spend my own money on it, and then do with it what I see fit. Be that gifting it to someone or otherwise."
> Princess Benben smiles warmly.
> "Y-Yea."
>_
-
> Whose voice is Princess Benben using?
> Look over to the store worker.
> "We'll take all of these, then."
-
> Whose voice is Princess Benben using?
> Look over to the store worker.
> "We'll take all of these, then."
> Still a joint of the two.
> You look over.
> "Er, how much is that all?" She asks, looking at something below what you can see of her.
>_
-
> Raise an eyebrow.
> Walk over to the desk and try to look at what she's looking at.
-
> Raise an eyebrow.
> Walk over to the desk and try to look at what she's looking at.
> You walk over to the desk and peer over.
> It's a book with a brown cover. The words within seem to glow, however, they seem a bit shifty, as if they were moving. Even with a glance, reading the upside down text could be easy for you.
>_
-
> Try reading some of it upside-down, then.
-
> Try reading some of it upside-down, then.
> You read.
> Seija and Yatsuhashi will spend $224 during this visit.
> The text still seems to be shifting, mainly the numbers.
> The book is tilted away from you, preventing you from reading it anymore.
> "Y-You're a bit close..." The worker steps back.
>_
-
> "Oh, sorry, I was just curious what you were reading."
> Lean back a bit.
> "Anyway, uh, I don't know off the top of my head what the total cost of these is, but I could probably figure it out in a bit. Don't you have something that will do that math for us, though?"
-
> "Oh, sorry, I was just curious what you were reading."
> Lean back a bit.
> "Anyway, uh, I don't know off the top of my head what the total cost of these is, but I could probably figure it out in a bit. Don't you have something that will do that math for us, though?"
> "Yea-er, I could try."
>_
-
> "If you wouldn't mind. I can do it myself as well at the same time, if the solidarity helps."
-
> "If you wouldn't mind. I can do it myself as well at the same time, if the solidarity helps."
> "Okay." She nods.
>_
-
> "All right, let's try it."
> Have a look at all four prices again.
-
> "All right, let's try it."
> Have a look at all four prices again.
> Kimono for $33... Sweater + Skirt for $31... Your outfit for $20... and the Detailed Kimono for $140...
>_
-
> So...that works out to be...carry the one...$224.
> Look back up at the shopkeeper.
> "Okay, I've got what I think it is."
-
> So...that works out to be...carry the one...$224.
> Look back up at the shopkeeper.
> "Okay, I've got what I think it is."
> "Yes?"
>_
-
> "$224."
-
> "$224."
> "That's right on my end."
>_
-
> Hand over $224.
-
> Hand over $224.
> You exchange for the clothes.
> "Thank you."
>_
-
> How much money do we have left?
> "And thank you."
-
> How much money do we have left?
> "And thank you."
> $156.
> "Please come by again."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Have a good one."
> Look to Princess Benben.
> "Shall we head home, sister?"
-
> Nod.
> "Have a good one."
> Look to Princess Benben.
> "Shall we head home, sister?"
> "You too."
> The princess nods.
>_
-
> Exit the store.
-
> Exit the store.
> You exit with Princess Benben and the clothes.
> There's a heavy sigh as you leave.
> "So where to next?" The princess asks.
>_
-
> Lower our voice.
> "Back to that bookstore. I'm suspicious of something."
> Head back to Kosuzu's place.
-
> Lower our voice.
> "Back to that bookstore. I'm suspicious of something."
> Head back to Kosuzu's place.
> You head for Kosuzu's store, stopping at the entrance.
>_
-
> Head inside.
-
> Head inside.
> You head inside.
> "Welcome. Uh, back." Kosuzu greets.
>_
-
> "Hello again It turns out we do need your expertise before we head back home. What can you tell us about the person that works at the clothing store?"
> Give a verbal description of the person.
-
> "Hello again It turns out we do need your expertise before we head back home. What can you tell us about the person that works at the clothing store?"
> Give a verbal description of the person.
> You describe the person.
> "Her name is Louise." Kosuzu answers. "She hasn't had it up for as long as, say, the school, but I hear she's really good at making clothes and other articles."
>_
-
> "I'll say. She has Reimu's outfit in stock, as well as those of a couple of our allies, who we know have never met her before."
-
> "I'll say. She has Reimu's outfit in stock, as well as those of a couple of our allies, who we know have never met her before."
> "Huh? Well, I can understand hers, but your friends she's never met?"
> Princess Benben nods.
>_
-
> "Yeah."
> Frown.
> "She also had some sort of weird book. One with moving writing that knew our names."
-
> "Yeah."
> Frown.
> "She also had some sort of weird book. One with moving writing that knew our names."
> "Really!?" Kosuzu jumps. "It must've been a Youm-, s-special kind of book then! I gotta visit her!"
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Let us know what you find, if you don't mind?"
-
> Nod.
> "Let us know what you find, if you don't mind?"
> "Uh, could you get her to come here? Leaving mid-work isn't that good... W-With her book too, please."
>_
-
> "...Would she be more willing to leave mid-work?"
-
> "...Would she be more willing to leave mid-work?"
> "I think she runs it, so she'd have more freedom to do something like lock up than me..."
>_
-
> "Ah, that's true...okay, I suppose we could do that for you."
-
> "Ah, that's true...okay, I suppose we could do that for you."
> "Thank you." Kosuzu smiles.
>_
-

> Gesture to Princess Benben to follow us, and then head back to Louise and her clothing store.
-
> "No problem. Be back soon."
> Gesture to Princess Benben to follow us, and then head back to Louise and her clothing store.
> You take Princess Benben back out and to the clothing store.
> "Hello again." The girl says as you enter. "You came back soon. There's nothing wrong with the clothes, is there?"
>_
-
> "No, not that we're aware of. But the girl at the bookstore asked us to ask you to visit her. With, uh, your book."
-
> "No, not that we're aware of. But the girl at the bookstore asked us to ask you to visit her. With, uh, your book."
> "Girl at the bookstore? I wonder what for..." She looks down. "I guess I can take some time off..."
>_
-
> "She seems really interest in your book."
-
> "She seems really interest in your book."
> "Uh... maybe I shouldn't go then. If it's just for my book..."
>_
-
> "Huh? Why not?"
-
> "Huh? Why not?"
> "Well, you said bookstore right? I have no intent on selling this..." The girl holds the book against herself.
>_
-
> "Oh, she didn't say anything about buying it."
-
> "Oh, she didn't say anything about buying it."
> "So, she just wants to see it?"
>_
-
> "I think so."
-
> "I think so."
> "Okay." The girl nods. "That's better."
>_
-
> "Let us know when you're ready to go, then."
-
> "Let us know when you're ready to go, then."
> "I'm as ready as I will be. You don't have to worry about my shop."
>_
-
> "Okay. Come with us, then."
> Exit the shop and, assuming Louise comes with us, return to the bookstore, entering once we get there.
-
> "Okay. Come with us, then."
> Exit the shop and, assuming Louise comes with us, return to the bookstore, entering once we get there.
> You depart. After a moment of leaving the store, Louise begins to follow the two of you.
> You return to Kosuzu's store interior once again.
> "Hi!" Kosuzu welcomes your group.
> "Hello/Hi." Louise and Princess Benben greet.
>_
-
> Gesture back and forth.
> "Kosuzu, Louise. Louise, Kosuzu. I believe you two at least sort of know each other already?"

> Gesture back and forth.
> "Kosuzu, Louise. Louise, Kosuzu. I believe you two at least sort of know each other already?"
> The two nod.
> "So, you have a special book, right? May I see it?" Kosuzu holds her hands out.
> "Be gentle with it." Louise stares at the book in her hands.
>_
-
> "Just so you know, Kosuzu, she really doesn't want to sell it."
-
> "Just so you know, Kosuzu, she really doesn't want to sell it."
> "Mm... I'm just taking a look then. Please?"
> "Okay..." Louise holds the book out.
> Kosuzu takes the book in her hands.
> ...
> "Can I read a bit?"
>_
-
> Look to Louise.
-
> Look to Louise.
> "Uh... Yes." Louise replies.
> Kosuzu opens the book up.
> One page is filled with basic text and sentences, like a regular book. However, they do still glow.
> The other page has a picture of an eye with text flowing from, or possibly, into it. A subtitle reads "Deciphering Eye."
> "Oh?" Kosuzu reads.
> The text on one page starts to change, to words having to do with stopping, sight, and embarrassment.
>_
-
> "Whoa!"
-
> "Whoa!"
> "What is it?" Princess Benben asks.
> "This is really inter-" The book snaps shut as it leaves Kosuzu's hands, landing on the counter.
> "Huh?" Kosuzu questions. "I wasn't finished."
>_
-
> Frown in thought at the book.
> "...Hey, book...you wouldn't happen to be a tsukumogami, would you?"
-
> Frown in thought at the book.
> "...Hey, book...you wouldn't happen to be a tsukumogami, would you?"
> No response.
> "Oh, a Tsukumogami..." Kosuzu picks the book up again.
> "Y-Yes okay? Just please don't do that again!" A voice responds within the book.
> "Oh!" Princess Benben says.
>_
-
> Look at Louise with an eyebrow raised.
> "Did, uh...did you know about that?"
-
> Look at Louise with an eyebrow raised.
> "Did, uh...did you know about that?"
> "Uh, she helps out some, so I keep her housed, safe and all..." Louise says.
> "A book Tsukumogami. Now I really wanna read more..." Kosuzu says.
>_
-
> Look back to the book.
> "Huh...hey, book, do you have a name?"
-
> Look back to the book.
> "Huh...hey, book, do you have a name?"
> "Well, they know you're a Tsukumogami already..." Louise says.
> The book adopts a humanoid form, almost bonking against Kosuzu.
> "Sou-... M-Mirai."
> Louise mouths something.
> "Mirai Gaz?." The book girl finishes.
>_
-
> Adopt a very interested look.
> "Ooh..."
> Examine the book girl. (Not Kosuzu!)
-
> Adopt a very interested look.
> "Ooh..."
> Examine the book girl. (Not Kosuzu!)
> You examine the book girl in front of the book girl.
> She has brown hair reaching just her shoulders. She's wearing a white dress with the same kind of text her book has shown before. You can't get a word recognized as the letters change too frequently. There's some sort of tassel in her hair as well. If you had to guess given what she is, you'd suspect it's a bookmark...
>_
-
> Smile a bit.
> "Greetings, Mirai."
> Give a short bow.
> "I am Yatsuhashi Tsukumo, a koto tsukumogami."
> Gesture to Princess Benben.
> "And this is my older sister."
-
> Smile a bit.
> "Greetings, Mirai."
> Give a short bow.
> "I am Yatsuhashi Tsukumo, a koto tsukumogami."
> Gesture to Princess Benben.
> "And this is my older sister."
> "Benben Tsukumo" The princess follows suit.
> "U-Um. It's nice to meet you two." Mirai hops off of the counter.
>_
-
> "You as well. If you don't mind my asking, how long have you been here, and why do you hide?"
-
> "You as well. If you don't mind my asking, how long have you been here, and why do you hide?"
> "We haven't been here that long..." Mirai answers. "I hide because it's just safer that way... It also helps me help Louise do things at her shop better, which includes keeping both of us safe too."
>_
-
> Raise an eyebrow.
> "Safe? From what?"
-
> Raise an eyebrow.
> "Safe? From what?"
> "Anyone, really. Because of what I can do, everyone would love to have me for their own purposes."
> "What can-"
> "She can tell the future." Kosuzu interrupts the princess. "She can also-"
> "I really don't like her..." Mirai steps over towards Louise. "It felt like she was learning everything about me."
>_
-
> "Oh. Uh...sorry."
-
> "Oh. Uh...sorry."
> "Not you, her." She points to Kosuzu.
> "Sorry. I didn't know you'd feel that way and all. I wouldn't have done it if I knew..." Kosuzu apologizes.
>_
-
> "Well, your secret's safe with us. Just like my secret is apparently safe with you."
-
> "Well, your secret's safe with us. Just like my secret is apparently safe with you."
> "Ah. Right..." Mirai says.
> "I was a bit confused by that..." Louise says.
>_
-
> "Don't worry about it. We all have our reasons for things."
-
> "Don't worry about it. We all have our reasons for things."
> "Can we go back, Louise?" Mirai asks.
> "Yes."
> "Sorry about the trouble..." Kosuzu says.
>_
-
> "Wait, before you go."
> Look to Princess Benben.
> "I think we should ask them."
-
> "Wait, before you go."
> Look to Princess Benben.
> "I think we should ask them."
> Princess Benben nods.
> "Don't you two want to not have to worry about that problem?" She asks.
> "What do you mean?" Louise asks.
> "To not worry about being caught by someone bad."
> "Well, of course we do."
>_
-
> "That's actually the main reason we came to this village in the first place. We're with a group that's planning to enable the weak to rise up and overcome the strong."
-
> "That's actually the main reason we came to this village in the first place. We're with a group that's planning to enable the weak to rise up and overcome the strong."
> "What?" Louise asks.
> "You could make us strong enough to defend ourselves?" Mirai asks.
>_
-
> "Potentially. That or we plan well enough to outwit them all."
-
> "Potentially. That or we plan well enough to outwit them all."
> "When you say group..." Louise says.
> "We take care of and watch out for each other." Princess Benben answers.
> "Hm..."
>_
-
> "We already showed the vampire mansion what for last night. They ended up accidentally exploding it themselves, though. Not that their complete destruction is our goal; rather, we simply want a much better place for all of us in society."
-
> "We already showed the vampire mansion what for last night. They ended up accidentally exploding it themselves, though. Not that their complete destruction is our goal; rather, we simply want a much better place for all of us in society."
> "Can we be a part of it?" Mirai asks.
>_
-
> Smile.
> "Absolutely. We would be glad to have both of you."
-
> Smile.
> "Absolutely. We would be glad to have both of you."
> "Thank you!" Mirai says.
> "I guess we're fortunate to have run into you." Louise says.
>_
-
> "Yeah, us too. And we'll do our best to make sure no one in the group tries to abuse you and your ability."
-
> "Yeah, us too. And we'll do our best to make sure no one in the group tries to abuse you and your ability."
> "Thank you." Louise says.
>_
-
> "Would you like to come visit the group now? Or do you need to get back to your store?"
-
> "Would you like to come visit the group now? Or do you need to get back to your store?"
> "I'm telling you it'll be fine." Louise says. "We can go now."
>_
-
> "Okay, sure. Though, uh, please don't be too hard on Kosuzu here, since she's interested in the group too."
-
> "Okay, sure. Though, uh, please don't be too hard on Kosuzu here, since she's interested in the group too."
> "A-As long as she doesn't do that again..." Mirai says.
> "Sorry." Kosuzu apologizes once more.
>_
-
> "It'll be okay. I'm sure you three can find some common ground and work together with the rest of us just fine."
-
> "It'll be okay. I'm sure you three can find some common ground and work together with the rest of us just fine."
> "We're looking forward to it." Princess Benben adds.
> Louise nods.
>_
-
> "Okay, Kosuzu, take care of yourself now. Keep in touch, and we'll do the same."
-
> "Okay, Kosuzu, take care of yourself now. Keep in touch, and we'll do the same."
> Kosuzu nods.
> "I'll try to."
>_
-
> "You might be able to send messages through Sekibanki, if she joins our cause to. She, uhh, lives at the house you gave us directions to, the one that's next door to Louise and Mirai."
-
> "You might be able to send messages through Sekibanki, if she joins our cause to. She, uhh, lives at the house you gave us directions to, the one that's next door to Louise and Mirai."
> "Oh. Oh! Sorry about that Louise." Kosuzu says.
> "I guess you should be apologizing to that Sekibanki person then..." Louise says.
>_
-
> "Maybe you can later, I guess. All right, see you around. Louise, Mirai, let's head out."
> Exit the book store.
-
> "Maybe you can later, I guess. All right, see you around. Louise, Mirai, let's head out."
> Exit the book store.
> You depart with your two new followers.
>_
-
> Head out of the village and back toward our home.
> If we make it out of the village without incident: "So, Mirai, you're probably wondering why two people gave you $224, huh."
-
> Head out of the village and back toward our home.
> If we make it out of the village without incident: "So, Mirai, you're probably wondering why two people gave you $224, huh."
> You start out...
> As you leave the village safely, you begin to converse.
> "You bought those clothes right?" Mirai says. "That's how buying and selling things works, right?"
>_
-
> "Well, yes, but if I'm Yatsuhashi, and she's Benben, you have to be wondering who Seija is, right?"
-
> "Well, yes, but if I'm Yatsuhashi, and she's Benben, you have to be wondering who Seija is, right?"
> "...Yea..." Mirai says.
> "That's really confusing..." Louise says.
>_
-
> "This is gonna sound really far-fetched, but we'll prove it once we get back to our base. Anyway, Seija was the major antagonist in the incident at the vampire manor yesterday, so she wants to lie low for a bit. But we also needed to run a scouting and recruitment mission in the village, as well as get some clothes for a new recruit from you all, and she wanted to be a part of that."
> Take on our own normal (Seija voice).
> "So I hid inside Yatsuhashi's body to help coordinate things. Hey there, I'm Seija."
-
> "This is gonna sound really far-fetched, but we'll prove it once we get back to our base. > "...What?" Mirai asks.
> "Are you a parasite or something?" Louise asks. "Uh, excuse me if that's offensive..."
>_
-
> "No, I'm an amanojaku. This is a technique I learned from someone else, that enables a person to host other people inside their body."
> Switch back to Yatsuhashi's voice.
> "Sister is actually the same way right now."
-
> "No, I'm an amanojaku. This is a technique I learned from someone else, that enables a person to host other people inside their body."
> Switch back to Yatsuhashi's voice.
> "Sister is actually the same way right now."
> "An Amanojaku..." Mirai says.
> "We, uh... Don't know how to do the voice thing..." Princess Benben says. "But someone else is in Benben too."
> "Aren't Amanojaku, er, not very popular as friendly?"
>_
-
> "Normally, no. But I've gotten better than that, and surpassed my natural limitations."
> Hoist the Seija outfit a bit.
> "Like how I didn't get very upset when I found my outfit here in your shop, despite the fact that we've never met as far as I'm aware."
-
> "Normally, no. But I've gotten better than that, and surpassed my natural limitations."
> Hoist the Seija outfit a bit.
> "Like how I didn't get very upset when I found my outfit here in your shop, despite the fact that we've never met as far as I'm aware."
> "Sorry about that..."
> "We didn't expect... Well, I guess we did..." Mirai says.
>_
-
> Chuckle.
> "It's not a problem."
-
> Chuckle.
> "It's not a problem."
> "We should really try and get a new place soon..." Princess Benben says. "Now that we have more clothes to store..."
>_
-
> "Yeah... just not sure where yet."
-
> "Yeah... just not sure where yet."
> "If we get great enough, do you think we'll be able to go back to where we used to? We'll be able to keep ourselves completely safe even there with a large group." Princess Benben asks.
>_
-
> "Hmm...probably. It would be nice, certainly."
-
> "Hmm...probably. It would be nice, certainly."
> The princess smiles as you continue on.
>_
-
> "Hopefully, such isn't too far away. If we are smart enough, it's possible."
-
> "Hopefully, such isn't too far away. If we are smart enough, it's possible."
> Princess Benben nods.
> Home's in sight. Not the greatest sight, but it's still home.
>_
-
> Make our way the rest of the way home.
-
> Make our way the rest of the way home.
> You continue and pass through the barrier, followed by the rest of your group.
> "Er, is this the place?" Louise asks.
> "Yup." Princess Benben says.
>_
-
> "It isn't that great, yea, but it fulfills its purpose."
-
> "It isn't that great, yea, but it fulfills its purpose."
> "A place for the lesser residents of Gensokyo to gather safely." The princess says.
> "How safe is it?" Mirai asks.
> "Incredibly safe! Before our safety would be even close to compromised, the best in our group would be up and ready to stop anyone." Princess Benben explains.
>_
-
> Is the barrier still up that we can tell?
-
> Is the barrier still up that we can tell?
> Yes, you believe so.
>_
-
> "And that's if they're even able to get passed the barrier."
-
> "And that's if they're even able to get passed the barrier."
> "Barrier?"
>_
-
> Are we inside the barrier yet? If not, how close are we?
-
> Are we inside the barrier yet? If not, how close are we?
> You've all passed through it by now.
>_
-
> Curiously, when we get past the barrier, we don't feel anything?
-
> Curiously, when we get past the barrier, we don't feel anything?
> It kind of feels like something. Slight wind or resistance, you believe? Not like you're being pushed back or anything. Like dipping into water, probably...
>_
-
> "Yep. It only lets through allies to our cause."
-
> "Yep. It only lets through allies to our cause."
> "That sounds amazing." Mirai says.
> "What's with all of the fairies?"
> "They're generally supportive of our cause too." Princess Benben says. "They can behave."
>_
-
> "We got them back from the vampire mansion yesterday. That was the goal of yesterday's mission."
-
> "We got them back from the vampire mansion yesterday. That was the goal of yesterday's mission."
> "What was it all about? Why were they gone?" Mirai asks.
>_
-
> "They used to work there, but they weren't treated so well."
-
> "They used to work there, but they weren't treated so well."
> "Ohh..."
>_
-
> "Yeah. But they're with us now."
> Have we run into anyone else noteworthy yet?
-
> "Yeah. But they're with us now."
> Have we run into anyone else noteworthy yet?
> No, you're just outside of the house. Some of the fairies are eyeing the kimono you have.
>_
-
> Head inside the house.
-
> Head inside the house.
> You head inside with the newcomers.
>_
-
> Begin looking around for non-fairies.
-
> Begin looking around for non-fairies.
> You start to search the house, aside from the money room...
> Everyone aside from Gasanae and those with you seem to be in the bedroom.
> "Oh. You're back." Reimu 2 speaks. "Did you get anything to eat?"
>_
-
> So both Raikos are here?
> "Not yet, but we got some clothes and some new allies. Everyone, these are Louise and Mirai."
-
> So both Raikos are here?
> "Not yet, but we got some clothes and some new allies. Everyone, these are Louise and Mirai."
> Yes.
> The group greets the two.
> "Ah, that's the shrine maiden..." Louise says.
> "And you are?" Reimu 2 asks.
> "How cruel to have forgotten me..."
>_
-
> "She makes clothes, Reimu. Oh, ah, Louise, Mirai, please don't tell anyone that Reimu's here."
-
> "She makes clothes, Reimu. Oh, ah, Louise, Mirai, please don't tell anyone that Reimu's here."
> "We won't." Mirai says.
>_
-
> "Good. Because she's not the original Reimu, and the original Reimu doesn't know our Reimu exists. So we don't need that knowledge spreading juuuust yet."
-
> "Good. Because she's not the original Reimu, and the original Reimu doesn't know our Reimu exists. So we don't need that knowledge spreading juuuust yet."
> "Alright."
> "That's a bit of a relief." Louise says.
>_
-
> "And speaking of..."
> Offer the sweater/skirt combo and non-expensive kimono to Reimu.
> "Here you go, Reimu. It's at least a couple of things. And, uh, I guess you could borrow my new extra dress if you needed to."
-
> "And speaking of..."
> Offer the sweater/skirt combo and non-expensive kimono to Reimu.
> "Here you go, Reimu. It's at least a couple of things. And, uh, I guess you could borrow my new extra dress if you needed to."
> You offer the two outfits to Reimu.
> "Thanks." Reimu takes the two, examining them.
>_
-
> Nod.
> Look over to Benben.
> "Hey, Princess Benben...which one of you actually wanted this, anyway?"
> Heft the fancy kimono a bit.
-
> Nod.
> Look over to Benben.
> "Hey, Princess Benben...which one of you actually wanted this, anyway?"
> Heft the fancy kimono a bit.
> You look over.
> "Her highness..." The Princess looks away.
>_
-
> "Ah."
> Shift to Yatsuhashi's voice.
> "...Did you want it too, sister?"
-
> "Ah."
> Shift to Yatsuhashi's voice.
> "...Did you want it too, sister?"
> "Sort of..." Princess Benben says. "She's fine without it though."
>_
-
> Go back to our own voice.
> "Hmm...I might have an idea for that later."
-
> Go back to our own voice.
> "Hmm...I might have an idea for that later."
> "Huh?" Both Princess Benben and Louise question.
>_
-
> "I'll talk to you both later, Princess Benben. No need to worry about it now."
> Look over the group.
> "So, on top of Louise and Mirai here, the rokurokubi may also be coming by tonight to visit, along with the mermaid and the werewolf. We also have something of a secret contact in the village now, one that won't be visiting very often, if ever, because her situation doesn't really allow for it. The young human girl at the bookstore."
-

> "Kosuzu-chan?" Reimu 2 asks.
> Princess Benben nods.
> "Don't wrap her up in anything dangerous..." Reimu 2 says.
>_
-
> "I got the feeling that was why she didn't want to leave where he was. I tried to not press her very hard about it. Someone like her seems best suited as a friendly ear in the village, not a combatant."

> "We'd like one..." Louise says.
> "I could find out." Mirai says.
>_
-
> "...I guess you could, huh?"
> Grin.
> "Where's the fun in that, though?"
> Flow our life energy out of Yatsuhashi and into an open spot next to her.

> Grin.
> "Where's the fun in that, though?"
> Flow our life energy out of Yatsuhashi and into an open spot next to her.

> "Told ya."
> Look back at Yatsuhashi.

-

> Look back at Yatsuhashi.

> "Thank you." Yatsuhashi nods. "I'm glad I could come along."

-
> Look over to Princess Benben.
> "I think you two are good to split as well. Uh, unless you prefer being like that, I guess. You do look pretty nice together."
> "Thanks. We'll still split." The princess says.
> It takes a moment, but the princess and Benben become two again...
>_

> Gesture to the Princess while looking at Louise and Mirai.
> "Louise, Mirai, this is Princess Shinmyoumaru Sukuna. You may recognize her outfit as well, as much as it's notably larger than the last time you saw it."
-
> Gesture to the Princess while looking at Louise and Mirai.
> "Louise, Mirai, this is Princess Shinmyoumaru Sukuna. You may recognize her outfit as well, as much as it's notably larger than the last time you saw it."
> "I see." Louise nods.
> "Nice to meet you princess." Mirai holds her hand out.
> ...
> "Oh. S-Small. I see." Mirai embarrassingly retracts.
>_
-
> Wait, is Shinmyoumaru small right now? Didn't she resize herself before going inside Benben?
-
> Wait, is Shinmyoumaru small right now? Didn't she resize herself before going inside Benben?
> She's still big.
>_
-
> "Hmm?"
-
> "Hmm?"
> "I was going to accept..." Shinmyoumaru says.
> Mirai looks the Inchling over.
> "...O-Oh. Sorry! Given who you are, I thought you'd be tiny. But, you aren't..." She says.
>_
-
> "Sometimes she is. She knows how to not be, though."
-
> "Sometimes she is. She knows how to not be, though."
> Mirai nods.
> "Sorry again.."
> "It's okay." Shinmyoumaru holds out her hand. "It's nice to meet you Mirai."
> The book accepts the handshake.

> "Come to think of it, where's Gasanae?"
-
> "Come to think of it, where's Gasanae?"
> "Somewhere outside, probably entertaining some of the fairies." Raiko says.
> "I don't think she's usually at the front." Raiko 2 speaks.
>_
-
> "Yeah, we didn't see her on the way in."
> Grin a bit.

-
> "Yeah, we didn't see her on the way in."
> Grin a bit.
> "Oh, did you two want to introduce yourselves to the newcomers?"
> "Raiko Horikawa." Raiko bows. "Pleased to meet you two."
> "Don't need to say it twice." Raiko 2 bows. "But I still feel the same way."
> "Twins?" Louise questions.
>_
-
> "Closer than even that. They're the same person."
-

> Wink.
> "Magic."
-
Assuming you're headed out soon, good luck! o/
> Wink.
> "Magic."
Soon. Noting when I will and the results of how it went when I return.
> "That's... a lousy excuse..." Louise says.
> "We don't really need one." Mirai says. "They're friends, right?"
> Raiko nods.
>_
-
> Do we know if there is any romantic interest in any direction with Raiko and the Tsukumos?
-
> Do we know if there is any romantic interest in any direction with Raiko and the Tsukumos?
> The Tsukumos look up to Raiko. You'd compare them more to sisters and a caretaker or eldest sister. You don't think Raiko is romantically interested in either of the two in turn.

> What other rooms in our house are currently empty?
> "I can explain it later. Though I could demonstrate it now, sorta."
> Look over to Benben.
> "Hey, Benben, can you bring that kimono and meet me in a different room down the hall?"
-
> What other rooms in our house are currently empty?
> "I can explain it later. Though I could demonstrate it now, sorta."
> Look over to Benben.
> "Hey, Benben, can you bring that kimono and meet me in a different room down the hall?"
> Just a couple. Others are filled with fairies.
> "Okay." Benben nods.
>_
-
> Head out of the main bedroom and down the hall until we find an empty room.
> Enter said empty room and wait for Benben to join us.
-
> Head out of the main bedroom and down the hall until we find an empty room.
> Enter said empty room and wait for Benben to join us.
//A bit worried about somethings now...
> You head out and enter another vacant room.
> Benben follows with the kimono.

Actually, nevermind, back soon.
-
Think nothing of the sort! We may be contrarian, but we're not disloyal.
> "I think I know how to make everyone happy. Go ahead and change into that real quick, would you?"
> Turn around and cover our eyes.
> "Lemme know when you're done."

> You turn and cover your eyes.

Great!
> Turn back around. How does she look?

Great!
> Turn back around. How does she look?
> You turn back around and examine Benben.
> The outfit seems good on her. She's not tall enough to keep it from touching the ground, but it looks a bit better that way. You'd describe it as lovely if your race's mindset doesn't interrupt.
>_
-
> "That...actually honestly looks really good on you. Kinda wish you two had put it on when you were together... Yeah, we should make sure both you and the Princess get one."
-
> "That...actually honestly looks really good on you. Kinda wish you two had put it on when you were together... Yeah, we should make sure both you and the Princess get one."
> "So are we asking Louise to make another?"
>_
-
> Shake our head.
> "Nah, I got a better idea. But first, what do you think? Take a look at yourself. Do you like how it looks on you?"
-
> Shake our head.
> "Nah, I got a better idea. But first, what do you think? Take a look at yourself. Do you like how it looks on you?"
> "It's nice... I do like it and it feels comfortable too..." Benben holds one of the sleeves.
>_
-
> Grin.
> "Perfect."
> Try using our new 'creating a contrasting existence' ability to create a Benben Tsukumo that doesn't like wearing the fancy kimono (but is otherwise the same).
-
> Grin.
> "Perfect."
> Try using our new 'creating a contrasting existence' ability to create a Benben Tsukumo that doesn't like wearing the fancy kimono (but is otherwise the same).
> You use your magic for another Benben...
> Another decrease in magic as the Tsukumogami and her outfit replicates.
>_
-
> "Hey there, Benben 2. Welcome to existing."
-
> "Hey there, Benben 2. Welcome to existing."
> The Benbens examine each other.
> The second soon begins to get itself out of the kimono.
>_
-
> "Whoa!"
> Look away and cover our eyes.
-
> "Whoa!"
> Look away and cover our eyes.
> You look away and cover your eyes.
> "That's better."
> "Here."
> "I'd rather not..."
> "You can't just go out wearing nothing..."
>_
-
> "You can use the original's change of clothes, 2."
-
> "You can use the original's change of clothes, 2."
> "I said I'd rather not."
> "I think something's wrong with her..."
>_
-
> "Huh? Why not?"
-
> "Huh? Why not?"
> "I... just don't like it."
>_
-
> "Is there anything you *would* like to wear?"
-
> "Is there anything you *would* like to wear?"
> Silence...
> "Maybe if it's not like these..." You hear.
>_
-
> Sigh.
> "Benben, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this, but can I just look? This'll be easier to solve if I can see what I'm doing."
-
> Sigh.
> "Benben, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for this, but can I just look? This'll be easier to solve if I can see what I'm doing."
> "Okay..." The two speak.
>_
-
> Uncover our eyes and survey the situation. Do our best not to linger our gaze anywhere inappropriate.
-
> Uncover our eyes and survey the situation. Do our best not to linger our gaze anywhere inappropriate.
> You look back to the two.
> Benben is still wearing the kimono. There's a second one over one of her arms.
> The other Benben isn't wearing anything but her floral accessory and the chain on her wrist. She is still covering herself with the original's outfit.
>_
-
> Look to Benben 2.
> "...Okay. So you don't like the kimono, which, right, yeah. But you also don't like the normal Benben ensemble, which I was not expecting. What kinds of clothes do you think you would like, then?"
-
> Look to Benben 2.
> "...Okay. So you don't like the kimono, which, right, yeah. But you also don't like the normal Benben ensemble, which I was not expecting. What kinds of clothes do you think you would like, then?"
> Benben 2 thinks...
> ...
> "I can't think of any." She says.
>_
-
> Sweatdrop.
> "You gotta wear something."
-
> Sweatdrop.
> "You gotta wear something."
> Benben 2 sighs.
>_
-
> Look to the original.
> "Uh, sorry. I guess I can't be as precise with this as I thought."
-
> Look to the original.
> "Uh, sorry. I guess I can't be as precise with this as I thought."
> "That's... fine. So, what do we do now?" Benben asks.
>_
-
> "...I'm not really sure. I think that's up to you two."
-
> "...I'm not really sure. I think that's up to you two."
> "Can you... remake her?" Benben asks.
> "That's not going to hurt, is it? I'll wear them instead, if I have to..." Benben 2 says.
>_
-
> "I...honestly don't know. I don't know if I can unmake, and if I can, I don't know if I can remake with the same memories. I also don't know how it'll feel..."
-
> "I...honestly don't know. I don't know if I can unmake, and if I can, I don't know if I can remake with the same memories. I also don't know how it'll feel..."
> "Mmh..." The two mumble.
>_
-
> "I'm not even sure that's the right thing to do...it feels too much like throwing her away just because she's not perfect. Which is, like, everything we're fighting against for tsukumogami."
-
> "I'm not even sure that's the right thing to do...it feels too much like throwing her away just because she's not perfect. Which is, like, everything we're fighting against for tsukumogami."
> "I-I'm sorry for recommending it." Benben says.
>_
-
> "No, no, it's okay. I won't deny it crossed my mind too. Because it could fix these new problems. And, really, it's not my decision, it's yours."
-
> "No, no, it's okay. I won't deny it crossed my mind too. Because it could fix these new problems. And, really, it's not my decision, it's yours."
> Silence.
> Benben 2 nods.
> "It'll just be causing problems for everyone otherwise..."
>_
-
> "So...it's up to you two."
-
> "So...it's up to you two."
> "It'll help Seija know more about her ability too." Benben 2 says.
> "I-If you really want to..." Benben says. "Do you?"
> Benben 2 nods.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "All right. ...And...just in case..."
> Bring both Benbens in for a group hug.
-
> Nod.
> "All right. ...And...just in case..."
> Bring both Benbens in for a group hug.
> You hug the two Tsukumogami.
> They both return it in full for a while...
>_
-
> Break off the hug.
> Look to Benben 2.
> "All right...here goes. Hope to see you again real soon, kiddo."
> Try undoing the magic we used to create Benben 2.
-
> Break off the hug.
> Look to Benben 2.
> "All right...here goes. Hope to see you again real soon, kiddo."
> Try undoing the magic we used to create Benben 2.
> You release the two.
> Then, after giving your possible farewell to Benben 2, you try to undo the magic used to create her.
> Rather than the magic wasting to nothingness as it usually does, the magic seems to return to you. Strictly return as in it feels different than your regular magic.
>_
-
> Is Benben 2 gone?
> How does the magic feel different? Does it feel like it belongs to someone else?
-
> Is Benben 2 gone?
> How does the magic feel different? Does it feel like it belongs to someone else?
> Yes...
> No. It still feels like yours.
>_
-
> Are Benben 2's clothes gone too?
> Look to Benben.
> "Well...that's one part down."
-
> Are Benben 2's clothes gone too?
> Look to Benben.
> "Well...that's one part down."
> No.
> Benben nods slowly.
>_
-
> Point to the leftover kimono.
> "Though we still came away with that somehow. How strange..."
-
> Point to the leftover kimono.
> "Though we still came away with that somehow. How strange..."
> "I think there's magic that can create clothing. But this is a complete replica, right?"
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Strange. I didn't think I could do that."
> Shake our head.
> "Let's not worry about that now. We should bring her back. But she has to be contradictory to you somehow. ...What do you think would be good?"
-
> Nod.
> "Strange. I didn't think I could do that."
> Shake our head.
> "Let's not worry about that now. We should bring her back. But she has to be contradictory to you somehow. ...What do you think would be good?"
> "What if she loved wearing more clothes? No... What about thinking of Yatsuhashi as her older sister? Is that enough?"
>_
-
> "That...could probably work. Yeah, we can try that. You should probably get back into your normal clothes for that, though."
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "Though, as long as we're bringing her back, is there anything else you think you might want to see? Anything what-ifs you're curious how things could have been?"
-
> "That...could probably work. Yeah, we can try that. You should probably get back into your normal clothes for that, though."
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "Though, as long as we're bringing her back, is there anything else you think you might want to see? Anything what-ifs you're curious how things could have been?"
> "For me?" Benben readies her clothes. "...What if I were a guy? Would I be handsome? I know you would... Or what if I were from a different instrument?"
>_
-
> "Mmm...I'm not actually sure I could do those. Well, I could probably make a male you, but I worry that that might cause, uh, distractions within the group, if you know what I mean."
> Watch Benben as she changes.
> "I was wondering more about things like, what if you were taller, or shorter, or had longer or shorter hair, or were larger or smaller in various places, or had a crush on someone, or didn't have a crush on someone. Things like that."
-

> "Too handsome, I know~" Benben jokes, changing back into her regular clothes as you speak.
> "Those sound interesting." Benben finishes.
>_
-
> "Any sound particularly appealing? Remember that you'll have to live with watching your other self live that way, too."
-
> "Any sound particularly appealing? Remember that you'll have to live with watching your other self live that way, too."
> "I don't want it to just be something dull or easy to normally do like longer hair... Hm..."
>_
-
> "You don't have to pick just one, either."
-
> "You don't have to pick just one, either."
> "I can't think of my own ones... Those were my best two."
>_
-
> "Well, we do at least have your clone thinking of Yatsu as the older sister, which should work fine even if we can't think of anything else. If you're not interested in any of my other suggestions, then we can leave it at that. I just wanna be sure that's what you want."
-
> "Well, we do at least have your clone thinking of Yatsu as the older sister, which should work fine even if we can't think of anything else. If you're not interested in any of my other suggestions, then we can leave it at that. I just wanna be sure that's what you want."
> "...That's all I can think of." Benben says.
>_
-
> "So that one thing is the only thing you want, then?"
-
> "So that one thing is the only thing you want, then?"
> "At the moment. All that's on my mind is me as a guy and the me that was here before. Sorry if that's wrong... What if it was a me that was as strong as me and my sister together, since I'm only half as strong as me and my sister together?"
>_
-
> "I don't think it's wrong. Her existence was a good lesson for us, a good opportunity for critical thinking. The least we can do is hold on to our memories of her, especially if you're upcoming clone doesn't have her memories."
> "Anyway, I don't know if I could give your clone self a power boost or not, but I could certainly try. Just for the sake of another character quirk, I'm thinking of having her have a crush on someone, too. Would that be okay?"
> Wink with a grin.
> "Or do you not want the competition?"
-
> "I don't think it's wrong. Her existence was a good lesson for us, a good opportunity for critical thinking. The least we can do is hold on to our memories of her, especially if you're upcoming clone doesn't have her memories."

> Wink with a grin.
> "Or do you not want the competition?"
> "I-I don't have a crush on anyone." Benben says. "I haven't gotten to meet that many people yet."
>_
-
> "Well, you could see what it's like for you to have a crush on someone. Or maybe you don't want it ruined before you have the chance?"
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "...Or maybe I could make a clone of you that crushes on the original you...would that be too weird?"
-
> "Well, you could see what it's like for you to have a crush on someone. Or maybe you don't want it ruined before you have the chance?"
> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "...Or maybe I could make a clone of you that crushes on the original you...would that be too weird?"
> "Ooh, that's something interesting. I wanna see how I act towards myself like that." Benben smiles.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "So, considers Yatsu the older sister, as strong as you two combined, and has a crush on you. Sound good?"
-
> Nod.
> "So, considers Yatsu the older sister, as strong as you two combined, and has a crush on you. Sound good?"
> "Ehehe, yep." Benben giggles, possibly considering the outcome. "Will you be making one the same for Yatsuhashi too?"
>_
-
> "I should be able to do that if she wants, yeah."
-
> "I should be able to do that if she wants, yeah."
> Benben nods.
>_
-
> Step back from Benben.
> "Okay, here goes."
> Try using our new 'creating a contrasting existence' ability to create a Benben Tsukumo that has a crush on her original self, is as magically powerful as the existing Benben and Yatsuhashi combined, and considers Yatsuhashi her older sister (but is otherwise the same as the original Benben).
-
> Step back from Benben.
> You apply your magic to try and create another Benben. One with a crush on her original self, is as magically powerful as the existing Benben and Yatsuhashi combined, and considers Yatsuhashi her older sister...
> Your recently restored magic us used up, and another Benben appears near the original.
>_
-
> Look to Benben 2.
> "Hey...is this welcome back? Or just welcome?"
-
> Look to Benben 2.
> "Hey...is this welcome back? Or just welcome?"
> The Benben 2 examines herself, then you.
> "A-A welcome back." She seems to conclude.
>_
-
> "...Really? You remember everything from before, from 2's perspective and not the original's?"
-
> "...Really? You remember everything from before, from 2's perspective and not the original's?"
> "I remember not liking clothes. I don't understand why. It's kind of something I regret going through... But I remember you and-..." Benben 2 pauses. "You two talking about how to make me."
>_
-
> Exhale in relief.
> "That's...very good to know. I'm glad you got to continue on, rather than just being destroyed. ...Uh, I hope the whole customization thing doesn't bother you too much."
> Blink.
> "Wait. You remember that conversation? Through your clone self, or through the original's memories?"
-
> Exhale in relief.
> "That's...very good to know. I'm glad you got to continue on, rather than just being destroyed. ...Uh, I hope the whole customization thing doesn't bother you too much."
> Blink.
> "Wait. You remember that conversation? Through your clone self, or through the original's memories?"
> "Through her..." Benben 2 glances over to the original.
>_
-
> "Okay, that makes sense. ...Hope that's not too awkward."
-
> "Okay, that makes sense. ...Hope that's not too awkward."
> "It's fine..."
> "So. Welcome back." Benben says. "I'm glad we could get you back too. How's your... crush?"
> "There's no hiding it from you two." Benben 2 takes the original's hand. "Please treat me well from now on."
> "I-I will..."
>_
-
> Chuckle.
> "Who knows what you like better than yourself, huh?"
-
> Chuckle.
> "Who knows what you like better than yourself, huh?"
> "Here's the outfits, Seija." Benben holds up her free arm with the kimonos.
>_
-
> "Thanks."
> Take the kimonos back.
> What purpose does this room normally serve? Is there anything presently in here?
-
> "Thanks."
> Take the kimonos back.
> What purpose does this room normally serve? Is there anything presently in here?
> You take the outfit and it's duplicate.
> You think this might be a... bedroom? There's no bed or things for someone's personal room though...
>_
-
> "Let's rejoin the rest of them."
-
> "Let's rejoin the rest of them."
> "Okay." Both nod.
>_
-
> Head back to the main bedroom.
-
> Head back to the main bedroom.
> You head to the bedroom, followed by the two Benbens...
> "Oh. You made another Benben?" Raiko asks.
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Yeah. We learned that duplicates can be safely unmade and remade, too."
-
> Nod.
> "Yeah. We learned that duplicates can be safely unmade and remade, too."
> "That's good." Yatsuhashi says.
> "So what's changed about her?" Raiko 2 asks.
>_
-
> "Three things. One is that she's more powerful magically."
> Grin a bit.
> "The other two will surface sooner rather than later, I imagine. Think of it as a guessing game!"
-
> "Three things. One is that she's more powerful magically."
> Grin a bit.
> "The other two will surface sooner rather than later, I imagine. Think of it as a guessing game!"
> "Powerful huh?" Raiko says. "Could you keep repeating that with doubles of a person?"
> "I'd like to think that it wouldn't work." Reimu 2 says.
>_
-
> "I don't know for sure. And, well, honestly, I don't know if that part actually worked or not."
-
> "I don't know for sure. And, well, honestly, I don't know if that part actually worked or not."
> "Should we test it then?" Shinmyoumaru asks.
>_
-
> "We could."
-
> "We could."
> "Who volunteers?"
> ...
> "The best way might be to have me and Yatsuhashi go against her." Benben says.
>_
-
> "That could work."
> Look to Benben 2 and smirk a bit.
> "Would you be able to do that, though?"
-
> "That could work."
> Look to Benben 2 and smirk a bit.
> "Would you be able to do that, though?"
> "I can try." Benben 2 nods.
>_
-
> "All right. You three head on outside, then. And try not to rile the fairies up too much."
-
> "All right. You three head on outside, then. And try not to rile the fairies up too much."
> The three start out of the bedroom, Benben leaving the outfits with you.
>_
-
> Look to Reimu. Is she changed yet?
> "You still want something to eat, I assume?"
-
> Look to Reimu. Is she changed yet?
> "You still want something to eat, I assume?"
> No. You doubt she'd change in this room while everyone else is in here. She could probably just move into another one though.
> Reimu 2 nods.
> "There's... not really... Nevermind." Reimu 2 says.

> "Yeah, we gotta figure out something in that regard some time soon..."
> "It still seems nice." Louise says. "Everyone's-"
> "You have a goddess as a close partner you know." You hear Gasanae as she enters the bedroom. "I'd really enjoy fixing up this place too..."
> "Another shrine maiden?" Louise questions.
> "How are the fairies doing?" Raiko turns her attention to Gasanae.

-
> "You're hardly useless, Gasanae."
> "Thanks..."

-
> Frown a bit.
> "Shoot."
> "I guess we're not the most trustworthy people..." Shinmyoumaru says.

> "We could...though it might be nicer to have some place more hidden."
> "More hidden than this?"
>_
-
> How hidden is our current location?
-
> How hidden is our current location?
> It's an abandoned, nearly destroyed house nearby the Garden of the Sun with a bunch of fairies roaming around it. The most people would believe is that it's some sort of fairy hideout, and that's if they pay attention to it. One still has to go a ways past the Garden of the Sun to get here, so it's out of the way. That house already near the Garden of the Sun likely adds more reason to not go here.

> Adopt a thinking expression.
> "...Did you know we were here before now, Reimu?"
> "No. I assumed you'd be back in that castle since Shinmyoumaru didn't go back there." Reimu speaks.
> "Thanks for keeping me..." Shinmyoumaru says.
> Reimu nods.

> "I do wonder how they'll be..."
> "The new place or the youkai?" Raiko asks.
> "So..." Louis says. "We're all sharing this room to sleep in?"
> "Think of it like a sleepover." Gasanae says. "You get to be next to friends. And if we aren't your friends yet, we'll gradually break the ice."
>_
-
> "Oh, are you two gonna stay here tonight? That's fine if so, I just figured you'd prefer to stay at your own place. You're perfectly welcome to stay here, then."

> "Hey, Gasanae, could you create a lake if you pleased?" Shinmyoumaru asks.
> "I'm pretty sure I could. How big would it have to be?" Gasanae asks.
>_
-
> "Enough for the mermaid to be comfortable."
-
> "Enough for the mermaid to be comfortable."
> "Oh, she's coming?" Gasanae asks.
> Shinmyoumaru nods. "Just a visit. But if we have a secure body of water for her, she might be likely to stay."
> "I could do that then! Where would you want it?"
>_
-
> "Hmm...we should probably have a look outside before making that decision."

-
> "Let's everyone go. More perspectives is better."
> Head outside.
> You start outside, followed by your allies.
> "Maybe we'll see Sekibanki and the others come by, if we're lucky." Shinmyoumaru says.
> Benben and Yatsuhashi seem to be going up against Benben 2 out here. Stray danmaku that actually makes it over here is nullified by the barrier.
>_
-
> How are the three combatants faring?
-
> How are the three combatants faring?
> All of them seem to be pretty tired. They're outfits haven't been scratched much, so you believe they've all managed to dodge their attacks well.
> The fairies are watching excitedly.
>_
-
> "Are you all okay?"
-
> "Are you all okay?"
First phone post and these will definitely take longer...
> "Yes!" The fairies speak.
> The sisters stop and turn to you.
>_

> "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean for you to stop."
-
> "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean for you to stop."

-
> "So how has it gone?"
> "She's much stronger than just me." Benben says.
> "Thank you~" Benben 2 smiles.
> "The, uh, other parts seemed easy to figure out after a bit..." Yatsuhashi says.
> Benben 2 seems even happier with the praise.
>_
-
> "Interesting. I guess it all actually worked, then."
-
> "Interesting. I guess it all actually worked, then."
> "Without the accidental effect too." Benben says.
> "I-I still remember that." Benben 2 reddens. "You could've stopped me from removing everything..."
>_
-
> "Hey, I wasn't looking, and I didn't think you would."
-
> "Hey, I wasn't looking, and I didn't think you would."
> "I meant me. Thanks for not until you had too though, Seija."
> "What are you talking about?" Yatsuhashi asks.
> "Um, she came out a bit extreme in a certain way. Even she kind of regrets it." Benben says.
> Benben 2 nods a bit, still blushing.
>_
-
> "Basically, wearing clothes was the worst thing ever."
-
> "Basically, wearing clothes was the worst thing ever."
> "How lewd~" Yatsuhashi says.
> "I-It's over now." Benben 2 says.

> "Someone'll have to. We got everything but the food."
-
> "Someone'll have to. We got everything but the food."
> "Oh. That's a problem, sort of."
> "Who to choose though." Shinmyoumaru thinks.
>_

-
> Who came outside with us? Everyone?
> "Not sure. At the very least, not me unless I'm in disguise, and not anyone and their clone at the same time."
> Yes. Seems like everyone.
> "One of us could go then." Raiko says.
>_
-
> "That'd be fine. Is there anyone that particularly wants to?"
-
> "That'd be fine. Is there anyone that particularly wants to?"
> "I'd volunteer." Gasanae says. "But the mermaid needs a spot."
> "Me?" Reimu 2 says.
> "No." Raiko 2 speaks. "If you run into yourself, things would get complicated. That or someone could follow you back here, given how popular you are."
>_
-
> Look to both Raikos.

> "Well, I'd get to stay with you, mother."
>_

-
> "You got it."
> Look back to the original Raiko. Hand over our remaining on-hand money to her.
> "Here. Take this and whatever else from the pile you think you might need."
> Raiko nods, starting back inside.
> "Just food right? For now, snacks, or something long-lasting?"
>_
-
> "Just food, yeah. I think a combination of short-term and long-term would be good."
-
> "Just food, yeah. I think a combination of short-term and long-term would be good."
> Raiko nods, continuing.
> "What do you expect after a long time of this?" Reimu asks. "What's after we overturn society?"
>_
-
> "Hmm...honestly, I'm not really sure. I haven't thought beyond that yet."
-
> "Hmm...honestly, I'm not really sure. I haven't thought beyond that yet."
> "And if someone tries to return society with their own group? Will you allow a war?"
> "Is it not just fine enough to have a paradise for the lesser of society, rather than try to fully overturn it?" Raiko 2 asks.
>_
-
> ...Is that acceptable?
-
> ...Is that acceptable?
> You're almost capable of realizing it. The goal's getting closer and closer so soon, but to just settle for a paradise?
> You think...
> The group looks to you in question.
> You'd... have your own sort of society, where the weak whom were in the rest of Gensokyo are on top in here... But there's no bottom in that sense... Perhaps associate the rest of Gensokyo as the bottom? That may be fine. You'd still be recognized, perhaps...
> "It'd be your same normal goal, just without us lashing out first and trying to overturn Gensokyo's society."
> "We'd probably be a major power. Like the Scarlet Devil Mansion, maybe, or the Youkai Mountain." Reimu 2 says.
> "If you still want to overturn society, I'm with you." Shinmyoumaru says. "I'll always be with you."
>_
-
> "It's...a tricky question, honestly."
-
> "It's...a tricky question, honestly."
> Raiko 2 sighs.
>_

-
> Frown.
> "Sorry. It's just...not something I'd really considered, going most of the way and then stopping right at the end."
> "It's not entirely stopping. Think of it like taking another path." Raiko 2 says as the original returns.
>_
-

> "A lot of them may be affected in different ways depending on what you choose you know. Especially given they've all heard this." Reimu 2 says.
>_
-
> "I know."
> Frown a bit.
> "This is a lot harder than I thought it'd be."
-
> "I know."
> Frown a bit.
> "This is a lot harder than I thought it'd be."
> "I'll get the food." Raiko says. "You can still take the time to think. We're not rushing things yet."
> "Those three from earlier might come around soon. Hopefully at least. We should be on the lookout for them." Shinmyoumaru says.
>_
-
> Nod to Raiko.
> "Okay. See you later."
-
> Nod to Raiko.
> "Okay. See you later."
> "Take care Raiko." The sisters all speak.
> Raiko heads off...
>_
-
> Look back to Shinmyoumaru. (Is she still normal-humanoid-sized, or did she go back to being tiny?)
> "Yeah, as long as we're scouting out places for a body of water, we might as well watch for them too. It might even be worth waiting until they arrive before actually making one, so the mermaid can give her input as well. Not to say we shouldn't have an idea prepared already, of course."
-
> Look back to Shinmyoumaru. (Is she still normal-humanoid-sized, or did she go back to being tiny?)

> She is still incorrectly sized for her species. The former.
> "Mhm." Shinmyoumaru agrees.
>_
-
> "In the meantime, let's scout out what we think is a good place for it."
> Look to Reimu.

> Look to Reimu.
> "Though you should probably get changed in the meantime."
> "Alright..." Reimu heads back in.
>_
-
> "Okay, let's see here..."
> Look around the immediate area. What are our landscape options?
-
> "Okay, let's see here..."
> Look around the immediate area. What are our landscape options?
> You look around...
> The ground is pretty level around here. No hill or anything. You still have a lot of space, even within the barrier.
> There seems to be a fight breaking out near the Garden of the Sun.
>_
-
> Is that the direction Raiko went in?
-
> Is that the direction Raiko went in?
> Yes. Not direct, but near.
>_
-
> Point out the fight.
> "Hey, look."
-
> Point out the fight.
> "Hey, look."
> "Hm?"
> "Ah! Did she get into a fight with the flower lady!?" One of the fairies question.
> "She just left though. Really?" Reimu asks.
>_
-
> "I'm not sure that's her. I'm gonna go check it out."
> Make ourselves and our clothes and stuffs invisible again.
-
> "I'm not sure that's her. I'm gonna go check it out."
> Make ourselves and our clothes and stuffs invisible again.
> You flip your visibility, ensuring everything's unnoticeable.
> "Good luck."
> "If you need help, come back or tell us somehow." Gasanae says.
>_
-
> "Right. Have more or a look around for a proper water location while I'm out, everyone."
> Take flight and head out toward the battle.
-
> "Right. Have more or a look around for a proper water location while I'm out, everyone."
> Take flight and head out toward the battle.
> The group nods.
> You start towards the scene...
> You arrive to Raiko indeed going against Yuuka. More than this, however, is the presence of the mermaid and her companions. Though they aren't participants, their clothes are damaged some.
>_
-
> How is Raiko holding up?
> Is Yuuka looking toward us, away from us, or somewhere in the middle?
-
> How is Raiko holding up?
> Is Yuuka looking toward us, away from us, or somewhere in the middle?
> Raiko is doing fine. Not a scratch.
> Yuuka is looking toward Raiko, who is away from both the direction of your base/you and the bystanding trio.
>_
-
> Get properly behind Yuuka, so she is pointing her back to us. Position ourselves several yards behind her.
-
> Get properly behind Yuuka, so she is pointing her back to us. Position ourselves several yards behind her.
> You float more behind Yuuka.
> "I'm kind of busy you know. It'd be nice if you just stopped." Raiko says.
> "That wouldn't be any fun."
>_
-
> How quickly can we go inside someone?
-
> How quickly can we go inside someone?
> It still takes quite a few seconds and they usually have to be willing or completely oblivious, otherwise, your energy may be prevented/blocked from going into them.
>_
-
> Float toward Yuuka until she is within reach. Do not try to fuse with her yet, though.
-
> Float toward Yuuka until she is within reach. Do not try to fuse with her yet, though.
> You float over...
> "Death Drum 'Land Percuss'." Raiko declares a spellcard. "Now might be a good time for you guys to try and get out of here." Raiko turns towards the bystanders slightly.
>_
-
> Crap, she had to declare, didn't she? Now we can't really interfere...
> Based on where Raiko and Yuuka are, could we get to the bystander trio without wading right in the middle of the fire fight? Perhaps by getting really close to the ground and then flying straight toward them?
-
> Crap, she had to declare, didn't she? Now we can't really interfere...
> Based on where Raiko and Yuuka are, could we get to the bystander trio without wading right in the middle of the fire fight? Perhaps by getting really close to the ground and then flying straight toward them?
> You internally express your annoyance at Raiko's timing...
> Yes. It wouldn't be much of a problem, even in the air.
>_
-
> Head toward the bystanders, then.
-
> Head toward the bystanders, then.
> You float over to the bystanders.
> "She said to run right?" Wakasagihime asks.
> "Are we going back for the lake or where that place should be?" Kagerou asks. "We might not even find it. And a visit with that flower youkai blocking our path back wouldn't be good..."
> "I could try and check, but we'd still be wasting time if we're not moving." Sekibanki says.
> Almost to them.
>_
-
> Keep going.
> Once we get up close to them, lower the volume of our voice enough that, hopefully, Yuuka won't hear us.
> "Hey."
-
> Keep going.
> Once we get up close to them, lower the volume of our voice enough that, hopefully, Yuuka won't hear us.
> "Hey."
> You approach and speak.
> "Huh?" The three question.
> There's a large rumbling causing you to fight for your balance, likely the effect of Raiko's spellcard.
>_
-
> Float up off the ground if we aren't already doing so.
> Glance behind us to see what's going on.
-
> Float up off the ground if we aren't already doing so.
> Glance behind us to see what's going on.
> You look behind.
> Yuuka may have returned fire with a large laser. It seems like it veered off target from the rumbling, but she's stopping and is lining another up.
>_
-
> Look back to the bystander trio.
> "Hey. Let's get away from this and to the base, yeah? Sorry I'm invisible, but I don't need Kazami seeing me right now."
-
> Look back to the bystander trio.
> "Hey. Let's get away from this and to the base, yeah? Sorry I'm invisible, but I don't need Kazami seeing me right now."
> "Oh."
> "So it is somewhere."
> The trio nods.
>_
-
> "Good."
> Provide directions for how to get to our house.
-
> "Good."
> Provide directions for how to get to our house.
> You detail how to get to there from here, and the three start off.
> Raiko's spell breaks, and she gets out of the way of the laser.
> "I thought you'd take that for longer." Yuuka stops, lowering her umbrella slightly.
> Raiko glances towards the others, before starting to send waves of regular danmaku at Yuuka.
>_
-
> Start heading back toward our house as well, but check back on Raiko periodically as we go. Make a game note if either she or Yuuka appear to go down.
-
> Start heading back toward our house as well, but check back on Raiko periodically as we go. Make a game note if either she or Yuuka appear to go down.
> You start back...
> "Blue Lady Show." The danmaku heading for Raiko begins to pass her as she declares a spellcard.
> Further...
> Raiko seems to be retreating away from the Garden of the Sun, utilizing the intangibility of her spellcard.
> Yuuka says something you can't hear, before pursuing Raiko slowly, making effort to dodge the danmaku as Raiko gets further away.
> There seems to be another bystander, near Yuuka's home.
>_
-
> Huh...
> Reverse direction and head toward the newcomer.
-
> Huh...
> Reverse direction and head toward the newcomer.
> You stop and start back towards the garden.
> It seems to be an insect person, watching the two as they go on.
>_
-
> Have we ever seen or met this person before?
-
> Have we ever seen or met this person before?
> You think you might have... Seems familiar, at least. Maybe from a glimpse or just how they look...
>_
-
> Get closer to her, still glancing at the fight every so often.
-
> Get closer to her, still glancing at the fight every so often.
> You get closer, checking back towards the fight.
> Raiko seems to have been downed, and Yuuka is heading down towards her. There are drums forming near the former, however.
>_
-
> Keep getting closer to the insect person.
-
> Keep getting closer to the insect person.
> You continue to inspect more.
> The insect person starts heading towards the fight before you can consider their familiarity.
> There's a few fairies starting to come near the fight as well, staying out of direct range.
> The door to Yuuka's home seems to open slightly and quietly as a second, different insect person begins to look around, before turning their attention to the first one.
> Drums are fired towards the air. You can't really understand what's actually happening at the fight, given it's distance.
>_
-
> What the-?
> Examine this new girl.
> Does she look familiar at all?
-
> What the-?
> Examine this new girl.
> Does she look familiar at all?
> The newest arrival seems to be much more familiar. That cape, the antennae, shorts...
> The other heading away... probably has antennae? You thought that was still the familiar cape, but those are actually just wings. And a dress too...
> The caped one starts following along, keeping his... probably her, distance.
>_
-
> Do we remember the name of the one with the cape?
-
> Do we remember the name of the one with the cape?
> It was something fitting for her, you believe... Sparky? Flashy? Bugsy? Botan? Glide?
>_
-
> Where is the one we don't really know going? Toward the battle, or away from it?
> Do the two insects seem to be going toward each other, or perhaps in the same direction?
-
> Where is the one we don't really know going? Toward the battle, or away from it?
> Do the two insects seem to be going toward each other, or perhaps in the same direction?
> The more familiar one is heading towards the other, while the other is going towards the battle. They're both going to end up near the battle if they continue.
>_
-
> Tail them to see if they offer any hints on who they are or what they're doing.
-
> Tail them to see if they offer any hints on who they are or what they're doing.
> You start to follow the two...
> You notice Raiko flying off after a bit as you get closer to the group of fairies and the fight.
>_
-
> Look around for Yuuka.
-
> Look around for Yuuka.
> You continue to approach until you can spot Yuuka...
> She seems to be speaking to the insect girl from her house. The onlooking fairies are starting to disperse.
>_
-
> Is Raiko headed toward the Human Village?
> Where'd the unfamiliar insect girl go?
-
> Is Raiko headed toward the Human Village?
> Where'd the unfamiliar insect girl go?
> Yes.
> She is still within the vicinity. You could probably get to her easily.
>_
-
> Where is she headed? Toward Kazami and her insect friend, with the other dispersing fairies, or somewhere else entirely?
-
> Where is she headed? Toward Kazami and her insect friend, with the other dispersing fairies, or somewhere else entirely?
> With a few of the fairies. Their direction seems to be the garden again.
>_
-
> Hmm...
> Head toward Kazami and the bug we know.
-
> Hmm...
> Head toward Kazami and the bug we know.
> You head to the two.
> "There were still fairies around..." Yuuka says.
> "I won't get beaten by a bunch of fairies." The insect says.
> "And if she came back?"
> "Um..."
> "That's why you still should've been inside, Wriggle."
>_
-
> Wriggle! That's her name.
> Head back toward our home. Continue listening to their conversation as we go, though.
-
> Wriggle! That's her name.
> Head back toward our home. Continue listening to their conversation as we go, though.
> You keep it and her appearance in mind to differ between her and that other one as you head back.
> "I was... until now."
> "She might come back again anyways." Yuuka says. "Maybe I'll get to have another try."
> "Why not just... um... talk to her. And ask if and when you could have a duel?" Wriggle suggests.
>_
-
> Crud. Well, Raiko can hold her own...
> Continue on toward our home.
-
> Crud. Well, Raiko can hold her own...
> Continue on toward our home.
> You continue home...
> The three seem to have made it near the house. Gasanae and Raiko 2 are speaking to them.
> "I'm glad she could run into you three." Raiko 2 says. "Me, not Yuuka, that is."
> "Thanks." Kagerou nods.
> "So, who's all here?" Sekibanki asks.
> "Oh, some people like us." Gasanae answers. "It's a place for those that aren't too strong, and feel less fortunate because of it."
> "Hm."
>_
-
> "Like you three, I assume."
-
> "Like you three, I assume."
> "Oh! She's... Here" Kagerou turns.
> "Welcome back Seija." Shinmyoumaru says.
>_
-
> "Thanks."
> Undo our magic used to make our self, clothes, and possessions invisible.
> "Welcome to our base, you three. Sorry for your getting roughed up along the way, I promise we no control over that. At least, not yet."
-
> "Thanks."
> Undo our magic used to make our self, clothes, and possessions invisible.
> "Welcome to our base, you three. Sorry for your getting roughed up along the way, I promise we no control over that. At least, not yet."
> You undo your visibility flip.
> "This isn't the final look of it either." Gasanae says. "It'll be better for everyone."
> "It's quite away from everyone." Wakasagihime says. "And there's a lot of space to it too..."
>_
-
> How is the mermaid getting around? Is she crawling everywhere, or being carried?
> "Speaking of space, Gasanae is thinking she can magic up a body of water for you. We were getting a lay of the land in this area to decide a good place to put it, but we wanted your input too."
-
> How is the mermaid getting around? Is she crawling everywhere, or being carried?
> "Speaking of space, Gasanae is thinking she can magic up a body of water for you. We were getting a lay of the land in this area to decide a good place to put it, but we wanted your input too."
> The werewolf is carrying the mermaid.
> "Really? Just for me?"
> "Well, a lot of us would find appeal in a pool." Gasanae says. "We could even consider a body of water inside a room just for you. But that might be better when we can... improve this."
>_
-
> "It's the least we can do for you if you're considering joining us, right?"
-
> "It's the least we can do for you if you're considering joining us, right?"
> "Thanks." Wakasagihime says.
> "So, this'll be better? How much better?" Sekibanki asks.
> "Does that umbrella lady come here?" Kagerou asks.
> _
-
> Who all is outside right now? Everyone but Raiko 1 and Reimu 2?
> "I'm pretty sure she doesn't know we're here."
-
> Who all is outside right now? Everyone but Raiko 1 and Reimu 2?
> "I'm pretty sure she doesn't know we're here."
> You believe so.
> "That's a relief...
>_
-
> "As for how much better we'll be? Well, you can see the small army we have here."
> Nod over to Raiko 2 with a slight grin while still looking at the newcomers.
> "Including the person you just met on her way to the Human Village."
-
> "As for how much better we'll be? Well, you can see the small army we have here."
> Nod over to Raiko 2 with a slight grin while still looking at the newcomers.
> "Including the person you just met on her way to the Human Village."
> "Yea... Those two." Wakasagihime says.
> "I didn't expect her to be back so- wait, two?" Sekibanki asks.
> "She... They're for this too? They seemed strong though..." Kagerou says. "We're not all weak here?"

I'm fine with doing this manually/actively. Though given Seija would have her turn and just be waiting on the others, it might just be better to have it run through, given there'd be no player input.
> She's holding her original's hand and... kind of fawning over herself.
> "My name is Shinmyoumaru. I'm an inchling and a princess." The princess spouts proudly.
>_

That's what I was thinking too. I don't expect to need to interrupt anyone while they're introducing themselves, and I don't want to put in, like, twenty Beats, so anything that's not Seija introducing herself (and whatever conversation spawns from there) should probably be auto-piloted for everyone's sanity.
> Gesture to Yatsuhashi.
> "You next, Yatsu. Uh, I probably should have asked earlier, but do you mind if I call you Yatsu?"

Everyone just being us two...
> "Yatsu's fine of course." Yatsuhashi smiles. "It's short for Tsukumo Yatsuhashi. That's me."
> "I'm Tsukumo Benben. And, uh, this is me too." Benben holds up their hands. "Thanks to Seija."
> "We're Tsukumogami of a Koto and a Biwa, respectively." Yatsu explains.
> The others of the group continue to introduce themselves, until just you and the new members today remain.

> "Mother just hadn't had the opportunity." Raiko 2 speaks. "Would you have joined if she was trying to agitate you at every moment?"
>_

> "Exactly. When I say 'professional', I mean it. Any amateur can just walk around and be annoying to everyone they see."

> "I'm Mirai Gaz?." Mirai speaks. "I'm a book Tsukumogami, basically."
>_

> "Oh. S-Sorry..." Louise bows.

> The mermaid shakes her head.
>_
-
> "Ah, a shame. Well, do please come back later, when we'll hopefully have a body of water for you."
-
> "Ah, a shame. Well, do please come back later, when we'll hopefully have a body of water for you."
> Wakasagihime nods, then looks up to Kagerou.
> "Alright. See you another time." Kagerou speaks.
>_
-
> Give a little wave.
> "Got it. See you later."
-
> Give a little wave.
> "Got it. See you later."
> Kagerou carries Wakasagihime out.
>_
-
> Look to Sekibanki.
> "You gonna stick around, then?"
-
> Look to Sekibanki.
> "You gonna stick around, then?"
> Sekibanki nods.
> "Maybe I'll stay for good, maybe I'll head back home." She says.
>_
-
> "We'd be glad to have you."
-
> "We'd be glad to have you."
> "Thanks."
> "I'm a bit surprised no fight broke out from her being here." Raiko says.
>_
-
> "I think she might have just been genuinely curious, honestly."
-
> "I think she might have just been genuinely curious, honestly."
> "Still, the fairies didn't jump to the chance for a fight or for another reason."
>_
-
> Where are our fairies, anyway?
-
> Where are our fairies, anyway?
> Scattered around the building... Not many are in the front with the rest of your group.
>_
-
> How did the ones that are present seem to take Yuuka's visit?
-
> How did the ones that are present seem to take Yuuka's visit?
> They seem to be indifferent...
>_
-
> "Hmm...you're right. Interesting."
-
> "Hmm...you're right. Interesting."
> "Hey, maybe we should check on those two. In case they run into Yuuka again..."
>_
-
> "Oh, good catch, yeah."
> Take flight and head after Kagerou.
-
> "Oh, good catch, yeah."
> Take flight and head after Kagerou.
> You start after the wolf, catching up after a short flight.
> She seems to be going really out of the way to avoid Yuuka's area...
>_
-
> Oh, that's good.
> Turn back around and head to the base.
-
> Oh, that's good.
> Turn back around and head to the base.
> You turn back and start home again.
> "They're fine?" Sekibanki asks.
>_
-
> "Yeah, they're avoiding Yuuka's territory entirely."
-
> "Yeah, they're avoiding Yuuka's territory entirely."
> "Good."
>_
-
> Look to Raiko.
> "Anyway, did you have any luck?"
-
> Look to Raiko.
> "Anyway, did you have any luck?"
> Raiko nods.
>_
-
> Smile a bit.
> "Great. Wanna unload inside?"
-
> Smile a bit.
> "Great. Wanna unload inside?"
> "Yea. I don't just wanna sit out here until Yuuka comes back."
>_
-
> Chuckle.
> "Of course. We should probably let your other self know things are okay, too."
> Head inside.
-
> Chuckle.
> "Of course. We should probably let your other self know things are okay, too."
> Head inside.
> "She didn't see Yuuka?" Raiko asks as you head inside.
>_
-
> "We had them all hide inside to not arouse suspicion."
> Go find the 2s.
-
> "We had them all hide inside to not arouse suspicion."
> Go find the 2s.
> "Oh."
> You find the duplicates in the bedroom with Reimu, waiting.
> "Oh. Everything settled?" Reimu asks.
>_
-
> "Yeah. She didn't actually get angry or aggressive or do anything nasty. I think she was just genuinely curious as to what was going on over here."
-
> "Yeah. She didn't actually get angry or aggressive or do anything nasty. I think she was just genuinely curious as to what was going on over here."
> "She didn't know about here before though, right? She just followed me." Raiko says. "So that means she probably had something else she intended to do related to me or something."
> "Like what?" Benben 2 asks.
> "Maybe start a duel or something..."
>_
-
> "Maybe. I still don't think she was intending to be aggressive, though. She didn't seem angry when I told her about what we were doing, either, even though she's clearly on the other side of things."
-
> "Maybe. I still don't think she was intending to be aggressive, though. She didn't seem angry when I told her about what we were doing, either, even though she's clearly on the other side of things."
> "She couldn't get through, I'm guessing?" Benben 2 says.
>_
-
> "Nope. She didn't try very hard, though."
-
> "Nope. She didn't try very hard, though."
> "Mm." Raiko nods.
>_
-
> "So, I dunno. If this lake thing takes a while, I think I might go pay her a visit myself."
-
> "So, I dunno. If this lake thing takes a while, I think I might go pay her a visit myself."
> "Gasanae or Wakasagihime?"
> "I think the latter..."
>_
-
> "I meant Kazami."
-
> "I meant Kazami."
> "Oh. Be careful if you do then."
>_
-
> Nod.
> "Of course."
-
> Nod.
> "Of course."
> "Don't be long now." Raiko nods.
> "So, now that Seija's going to die, who'll take over in her place?" Raiko 2 asks.
> "Wouldn't Princess Shinmyoumaru be the one to take over?" Benben 2 asks.
> "Maybe." Reimu 2 says. "But she's not too well on her own..."
> "Then Gasanae?"
> "Mm." Raiko nods.
