When they go behind the screen they look awesome, when they appear in front of the screen it suddenly ruins the entire thing.

So we seem to have a solution to bad cosplay here: "Shadow art".

Yeah. It was pretty good, but I would've found it better if the entire performance was mimicking shadow art, and everything was behind that screen.
