The stairs lead you to a high-ceilinged corridor lined with rich wood, paper lanterns dot the wall at regular intervals, but the corridors' current illumination comes from the windows near the top of the walls. Stained glass windows admit multi-hued light, though the orange-yellow tint streaming through each window hits at an unnatural light source.
