RECAP FOR NEWCOMERS
>You are Youmu Konpaku, a half-phantom.
>You, and six others were brought together by Yukari Yakumo, who issued a challenge: She would send each of you to another world, with the goal being to collect four of seven keys she had given to the champions of the major regions of said world. Once you gathered the keys, you would be able to return to Gensokyo and battle Yukari, where, if you won, you and everyone else could go home.
>So you were sent to this vast, strange new place known as Sinnoh. Here you were given some starter gear, and soon learned this new world was inhabited by strange creatures called "Pokemon" which the locals based an entire battle system on. You soon met a young woman named Dawn, who brought you to a nearby town, where you received your first pokemon, a Piplup whom you named Floe, from a man named Rowan. You then embarked on your quest, and, following Dawn's advice, headed for a city called Oreburgh, meeting two new companions along the way: Nero, the Shinx, and Sora, the Staravia.

You also acquired a new companion: Opal the Budew, just north of the city. After spending the night, you ran into Reisen, who left her starting region. After a brief battle, you decided to travel together.

I'm pretty sure that the confusion slicing power only works on people. Not weapons. So personally, I think Reisen, or one of our pokemon could help here.
And even if it did, it would be awkward hitting our own sword with another one. Personally I vote for Pokemon intervention. We need to get this other pokemon out of the way soon.

I believe Opal could do well against an ordinary rock monster. It is likely Roark has some non-ordinary monsters that Nero and Floe would be better against.
