Title: Near as I can tell, PPIRC seems to be down

Now, I'm not one to gossip, but it seems like I can't get my IRC client to connect to ppirc at all, while the webchat thinger linked over at Patchouli's Library just goes to some kind of squatting site?

Confirming I am having this problem as well.  Well, I haven't tried webchat, just my client isn't connecting.

EDIT:  It seems some people are able to get on just fine, but I haven't figured out the common thread among people rejected by the server.  I was thinking it was refusing new connections and the only people on were those that tended to stay connected while sleeping, but there have definitely been a couple connections in the past couple hours...

Opening ppirc.net in your browser shows that the domain name has expired.

Does anyone have the IP address?

Stuffs:  (209.99.40.223) port 6667 is what it's trying to connect to when I pull up ppirc.

This is happening on my end as well, haven't been able to connect since last night.

Try connecting to 69.56.173.20 port 6667

It took me a lot longer than usual to connect, but it did work after twenty minutes this morning. Glad I'm not alone in it, at least.

It should be fixed now.

Edit: If it isn't, try flushing your DNS.
