Oddly, I've switched worlds a few times while flying accidentally, and have taken no damage. It's just you guys apparently. :V

According to the author, this is just a minor glitch with TerrainControl, it's supposed to be for debugging purposes. There's a client mod version of TerrainControl with some different features and it's just checking if the player has it.

Unfortunate that the beta wasn't as stable as I'd hoped. I still have the backup if we ever wind up needing to do a full rollback but I doubt that'll be necessary.

Oh, not intentionally. I thought this was already addressed, and I uh... can be quite... forgetful.  :derp:

But yeah, I mainly lobbied for flight to help us with construction in Main and Flatworld. You'll still have to contend with that pesky gravity when resource hunting abroad. With the Wither being allowed to be summoned in the Nether, this further underscores us not enabling flight there.

That, and if Nether flight was allowed, methinks the glowstone would disappear VERY quickly.

Nope, haven't forgotten about ya. Not at all.

I think 1.4.6 will have both the fireworks and come before the new year, so feel free to join in then.

Still requesting we be able to craft the old fireproof wood slabs (block 44, damage value 2), on another note. That way we could place wood structures in more flammable and high-risk areas.
EDIT: Also, I notice an awful lot of clay even at diamond level....I am aware that we spawn lots of it for various reasons, but I still think it may be too much. Requesting that the next world reduce clay generation to Y32 at lowest level.

Regarding the old wood slabs: I'm not against it, so I'll fiddle with the recipe mod to see if it can produce them. I'm not entirely sure, so this calls for SCIENCE! Also, any ideas on a recipe that wouldn't be too expensive or conflict with any existing ones? inb4 9 diamond blocks -> 1 slab

Regarding clay: I haven't toyed with TerrainControl, so I'm not entirely sure if we could limit blocks from spawning above or below certain height levels. I do remember Stuffman saying that he had to modify each individual biome config to allow the increased spawning, so I'm guesstimating that it affects entire chunks. This is the only way that we could make Emerald plentiful outside of Extreme Hills and so forth. I haven't heard any other complaints so I recommend just digging around it for now.

Hm, I'd say the following since it's simple and inexpensive:
3 x 2 new wood slabs of any kind (type 126) -> 6 fireproof wood slabs (type 44, damage 2)

All right, thanks. I think the existing clay above that layer is fine, while at that. It's nice to have around and encourages some more brick works. :V

Alright. The new recipe for the old wooden slabs is complete:

Any of the new wood slabs will work in this recipe, but you will only get the one color of slabs in return. The old slabs are just called "Wooden Slab" and they will not stack with Oak Wood Slabs.
