Puzzle & Dragons is an iOS/android puzzle RPG.  It plays like a cross between Bejeweled and Pok?mon.  It's completely free to play, but has premium features through purchasable "magic stones," the game's premium currency (which can also be obtained frequently as rewards in-game), which allow for increased inventory, pulls from a rare egg machine, and more.  If you're patient enough the game gives you enough stones through special events and rewards that you shouldn't need to buy any.  (It's recommended you don't because most things can be obtained/beaten without spending money and some amount of patience and skill.)

You can control monsters from lowly slimes to even lowlier dragons to smokin' hot monstergirls like Echidna, Siren, Alraune, Archangel, and Lilith(above).  They all mostly have different stats and skills, allowing you to customize your team for any number of purposes.

Real talk though, the real reason to get into this game is because everyone else here is playing it and has been playing non-stop for the past 2 years :V , and probably won't stop for a long time thanks to the constant updates to the game and its mechanics, balance changes that never directly nerf anything and are mostly focused on increasing the viability of older monsters, and of course the endless addition of new monsters and collabs that are dished out on a regular basis.

A tip for new players: At the end of the tutorial the game will give you one free pull on the rare egg machine.  It's best to "scum" this pull and start over (by uninstalling and reinstalling) until you get something that's really rare (a god).  Great starters include any of the Chinese gods, Ares, Bastet, Isis, Verdandi, Lu Bu, Bastet, Odin, Kali, Shiva, Bastet, Sonia, and many others.  Feel free to ask!

Is anyone else finding that they just can't enter the ranking dungeon? I'm getting an error. It is open now, right? Unless this is the one time ever that PAD is using local time instead of PST.

I know there's a penalty for just Ra nuking the predra floor, but I was planning on just doing it anyway. Is that a bad idea? Is the penalty so huge that my score will be irredeemable if I do it or something?

I believe nuking a floor also results in -5000 points for every floor you did this to.

Here are my findings for the MP Dragon Guerilla:

99 Stam - 5 floors.

Floors 3 and 5 will have a guaranteed Latent (stats or resist)
Floors 2 and 4 will consist of 2 Predra Babies and 1 of a colored Predra
Floor 1 will always have 3 Predra Babies

On average, expect to get 2 predra babies and 1 colored predra, but you will more often than not get 2 colored predra.

50 Stam - 4 floors.

Floor 4 will have a guaranteed Latent (stats or resist)
Floors 1 and 3 will always have 3 Predra Babies.
Floor 2 will have 2 Predra Babies and 1 colored Predra.

On average, expect to get 2 predra babies and 1 colored predra, but you will probably get 3 predra babies.

If you have 4 Awoken Ras, 3 of them having 3 skill delay resists, pairing up with a 5th Awoken Ra friend will let you button press the entire 99 Stam (Legend) thing in 34 seconds.

Yep, they can drop. I've had a fairly even split of all the different latents based on my sample size of about 20 or so runs.

Oof. Well, fuck me for farming them them the old way, but I feel especially bad for anybody who paid MP for them.

I mean, if you have a setup that wants 25 of exactly the same thing maybe it makes sense to try other options, but for a setup like mine (one of each resist, and stat boosts for everything else boosting their highest weighted stat) then this seems way better.

This way I can work on several teams at once, at least until a certain cutoff point where I start to get too many duplicates. Although there's a chance of accidentally getting autoheal latents here that are basically just a waste of stamina, and a chance that I'll keep them all hoping they get buffed which will tank my box space as well.

Also HOW IS THAT MENACING? They missed a prime opportunity to give them a new, functionally identical skill themed after cuteness with a skillup that only exists in the Christmas dungeon. :v

I wasn't going to do any Christmas pulls, but I might consider it now (especially pending what else is in there) because now I'm realizing that a white delay with a row could be really badass. You know, because I have such a good track record fishing for specific event silvers.

Don't ask me how I did that. I had like 140 HP for half the dungeon, and my final combo on kaguya was 100x.

I didn't even use tsukuyomi there, I had to use that active to OHKO Amaterasu rofl
