I actually just found this really cool MATHS EXPLANATION on pdf:

Quote
How does Two-Pronged Attack Work?

U&Y has 2 Two-Pronged Attack (TPA) awakenings so you may be wondering exactly how TPA works. Unfortunately Gungho is quite often rather vague in their descriptions and this is no exception.

Here's how it works.
- TPA only works for matches of exactly length 4.
- TPA works on a per combo basis. For example if you make 2 blue combos, one of length 4 and the other length 3, the TPA damage boost will apply only to the combo of length 4, not to the combo of damage 3.
- A single TPA will give a 1.5x damage boost, 2 TPAs will give 1.5*1.5 = 2.25x damage boost, not 2x.
- You get the bonus damage from TPA even when there's only 1 enemy on the screen.

For the more curious and mathematically inclined, the attack multiplier in this game for a single color of a single monster is calculated like this...
Attack multiplier = Σeach combo of that color(orb multiplier) * combo multiplier * other multipliers
Where...
orb multiplier = [1 + (number of connected orbs - 3) * 0.25] * TPA, if it is a length 4 combo * (1 + 0.06* number of enhanced orbs within that combo)
combo multiplier = 1 + (total number of combos - 1) * 0.25
other multipliers = leader skill * (1 + 0.1 * row enhance count * number of rows) * other relevant enhances from active skills

Goddammit Edible

So yeah I have my work cut out for me :V

I didn't really consider that folklore+lu bu setup, I already have them evolved and leveled for ronia cheese anyway so I could start running that one right away.

Thank you for the walls of text!

Okay yeah I'm looking at your levels and shit now and you already have the Hera/Ronia team. Just look for Lu Bu allies and you'll be good. Also Ronia/Hera-Ur as leaders are if interchangable if you want more HP or more RCV. The Folklore combo is totally legit and you'll have very little problems annihilating everything.

With that team you can blow shit and up farm stuff for the other teams.

Although funny enough I don't think it will help you in getting masks for U&Y :V

Your best best for that is actually Bastet :V
Bastet, Kirin, Pandora, Folklore, Bastet is 100% skill bind resist. Also Bastet active is awesome for this dungeon.
Final sub is Shiva/Topdroid for dealing with Blue mask's armor. Alternatively use Echidna since you're green and hit the Blue mask really hard normally anyways.
Use Pandora's active for heal stalling.
Stage is easy enough as long as you pay attention and try to stall on free turns.
On boss use Kirin + Echdina and beat down Blue mask. When it starts to get low use Bastet active to try to kill both masks at the same time.

The levels in padherder are probably all wrong, I more or less just put max if they were max, 50 if they weren't, 1 if they haven't been touched :V

No matter, with 2x stamina farming for exp is super easy now

I will definitely have to start running for wednesday masks; been meaning to for a while since I want to skill up orochi

It occurs to me that I can run U&Y/U&Y/Orochi/Blue Valk/Blodin/U&Y for utterly hilarious TPA stacking once the balance patches hit US.

I'm not sure you really need the extra damage over the utility of Echidna though :V

Yeah that's true, but if I'm in a situation where I can use orochi, I'd like to - he was one of my first REM gods, and he's just seen so little use (because Echidna is so much better).

You can just go U&Y, orochi, Bodin, Valk, Echidna, U&Y instead then since Orochi and U&Y will basically hit for the same amount (actually Orochi is a bit stronger)

Is Echidna better than Orochi even in a water-based team?

Echidna could have 1 hp and 1 atk and she'd still be more useful than any other delay user in the game because 3 turn delay on a 10 turn cooldown is incredible.

So I decided to just go for it and go into Legendary Seaway with FF's Gabriel and see what happens. I'm ten turns into fighting the twins, aaaaah guys I'm scared they have so much HP I'm going to fuck up eventually.

Edit: Okay, Wangren is dead and didn't drop. Beyzul should just surrender so he can get on my team. Guess Valk is getting the boot from team leader faster than I thought after getting maxed out. Poor girl.

So now I have to decide if it's worth my time to try to skillup Beyzul. 11 turns is honestly not that much better than 16, they're both so long that I basically can't do the shift unless I plan on ending the dungeon with it, but in very rare situations it might be good.  I'm looking at something like 5500 stamina to skillmax him, and precedent is that if he gets an ultimate evolution it will get a new skill with a max cooldown the same as his old minimum. Do you think that will happen, and do you think it'll be soon enough that I shouldn't start farming skillups?

Due to some issues with my tablet before, I had to reinstall and get my data put back in.

As a result, my ID has changed, for if anyone new shows up and for some reason adds me.  It's now 327544344.

Still the same set of monsters and such though~!

EDIT turns out it was only my first login today that showed that.  My ID is te same as it used to be, as anyne on my friend list can check.  Sorry about that!  This post can be deleted at a mod's earliest convenience.

Yeah. He can be skilled up ten times. I'm dreading that thought, but the dungeon itself gives not too bad drops, I guess...

If you can clear Legendary Seaway reliably, you may as well run it all the time

Good xp, great drops, and who doesn't want all the rodin tamadras?

Okay, that actually is short enough that it matters. Well, guess I gotta do it. Don't screw me on the uvo, Gungho.

Hmn, fair enough. This is never going to get harder. My only concern is extremely limited +egg opportunities. And I have no use for any of the pirates, but that's usual.

I don't love that we're getting more Batman villains when we already have a whole Batman collab. Not more Batman characters please.

Interesting that they don't seem to be constraining themselves to one continuity too heavily. This stuff is definitely New 52-influenced (Superman, Green Arrow from his horrendously bad reboot book, presumably Harley), but Doomsday's gimp suit is, as far as I know, from the older continuity. So far really, really liking the look of all of this stuff. They made it their own a lot more than they did with the BAO stuff and it works.
